A demon raged in the market square of Vert. At least he seemed like a demon. He looked like a human in full body armor. He behaved like that too. Like a drunken full pole. Still, he was a demon, as would be learned later. The portal demon, as he called himself, seemed to have started a fight with a trader. Because of food. Right, for something to eat. When a city guard stepped in, he struck them down.
Kyu, who could not see such an injustice, wanted to stop the demon. At first it went well and he had nothing to oppose her martial art. But in the end she was overwhelmed by the sheer mass of his love handles. In between, Jonouchi was drawn into the matter and caught fire, which only mattered to himself.
Salvation came when Bennett and Tsubaki stepped in and lured the demon away. They tried to talk to him, but he was too impulsive. In the end, however, it was worth it. It disappeared through a wormhole-like structure.
