Fanfic: Wieder in der Digiwelt

Chapter: &. [Text-Message]

It had been four years since the win against Lucemon. In those four long years Takuya, Koji, Tommy, Zoe, J.P. and Koichi quite changed, some more and some less.

Takuya cared more about his brother and also played with him more. Despite his fourteen years of age, he still behaved like a leader, often straining the nerves of his friends.

Koji and Koichi hadn't changed much. Except that they were spending more time together now and were now fifteen years old.

Tommy's courage took hold and he had never felt as afraid to say it if he didn't like it. He also shed tears less often. For his thirteen years he had already grown braver.

J.P. At sixteen he still had a great fondness for chocolate, but now he no longer bought friends with chocolate and magic tricks, but wanted to make true friends with many. He had finally understood what true friendship meant.

And Zoe was fourteen years old too. A week after her return, she had to move back to Italy. It was really sad and her friends had promised her - as she promised them - that they would meet again. She had just settled in very well in Japan and had to move back to Italy. The dragging was getting on her nerves, but there was nothing she could do about it.

Takuya was in his room and had to do something for the school despite not wanting to, because he would soon be writing a class test, but of course he didn't feel like doing it. He would rather do something fun with his friends.
"Man ... that's annoying," he sighed loudly and sounded a bit tired. His eyelids were getting a bit heavy and he had to fight hard against fatigue.

Suddenly an unknown ringing reached his ear and he was pricked up - and the ringing threw him out of his uncomfortable tiredness.
Where does this ringing come from? It sounds kind of familiar to me, he thought.
Frowning, he followed the mysterious sound, while he checked everything carefully as if he were his mother, who was cleaning the house and wanted everything clean.

Koji was also in his room. Relaxed, he made himself comfortable on his bed and listened to loud music.
"Koichi would be coming soon ..." he muttered to himself.

After a while he got bored. Sighing, he got up and turned off the music. He went down the stairs and headed for the kitchen to pour himself a drink. However, he was stopped by a voice coming from the living room. He knew them only too well, because he belonged to his twin brother Koichi Kimura. Koji changed his destination, this time walking towards the living room to welcome his twin.
When he arrived, he saw his exact image, only with shorter hair, and his mother absorbed in a conversation."Oh, Koji", the young woman smiled at him, "Look who's there."
His gaze wandered to his brother, who smiled at him friendly and happy. He returned his smile.
"Shall we go up then?" Asked the long-haired man.
A nod in response was enough for him.
"See you then, Satomi," Koichi said goodbye.

"Since when have you been calling her by her first name?", Koji asked his twin curiously.
He made himself comfortable on the bed, at the same time Koichi was taking over the sofa.
"Since today?" Grinned the person addressed.
"Aha ..." he frowned.
The conversation, which ended anyway, was suddenly interrupted by two doorbells, which on the one hand was strange to them, but on the other hand just as familiar.

Tommy was busy playing soccer with his friends. Even if he was lacking in size, he wasn't the worst of the group. On the contrary, he was one of the best. His ball control was amazing, which amazed his friends.
A whole hour passed. Everyone was out of breath as they had been playing nonstop so they took a break which was more than relaxing.
"Your dribbling has improved a lot, Tommy," Teppei praised him as he refreshed his throat with water.
The person addressed blushed slightly and mumbled a low "thank you".
Suddenly the doorbell rang out, and amazement mingled with them, because none of them knew this ringing. Tommy didn't know it any more than any of the others, but for some unknown reason he felt a certain familiarity in the ringing.

J.P. strolled down the street with a chocolate in his hand that he ate with relish and with plugs in his ears from which loud music was booming.
The same ringing sounded from afar as the others, but it went down because of the music. The vibration was then switched on, which J.P. quite scared. He lost control of holding the chocolate tightly in his hands and unintentionally tossed it straight into the trash can.
"Oh menno ..." he pouted when he saw his dirty food.
[i]There was something in my pocket that scared me ...
it shot through his head and found out the secret.

The brunette followed the sound and stopped in front of his bed, as his cell phone was on it. He looked curiously at his display.
"A message?", He muttered to himself questioningly, "But from whom ...?"
When he tried to get to the bottom of this, it vibrated again - but this time quite intensely. The message was then deleted for no further reason.
Huh? What happened now?, it flashed through his head and searched his cell phone thoroughly to hope that he had saved the text message somewhere.

"Well, that's not my cell phone ..." Katsuharu muttered to himself.
That's mine ...shot Tommy through his head when he felt the vibration strongly in his pocket.
With a frown, he pulled it out of his trouser pocket, his friends looked curiously at what was happening."You got a new message", said Teppei with a grin, "bets from his girlfriend?"
"I don't have ..." the brunette only gave as a comment.
When the little one opened the message he had received, it disappeared into nowhere. Surprised, he searched the cell phone for the missing SMS.
"Don't tell me you deleted them?", Katsuharu wanted to know, slightly startled.
"No, it broke up by itself ..."
"How does that work?"
"If I knew that, I wouldn't be as amazed as you are ..."

The somewhat plump J.P. fished his cell phone out of the pocket of his yellow and blue overalls.
"Oops, a new message," he said happily, looking quite astonished at the time. Apparently he didn't get that many.
When he tried to open it, it extinguished itself. J.P. was just a single question mark, because he had no idea what was going on at the moment. Actually, he hadn't clicked the delete button, but clicked open - he was pretty sure of that. So what just happened?
Does that mean something?, this thought blocked his way.

When the twins noticed the vibration in their pockets, they pulled out their cell phones.
"Koichi? Both yours and mine are ringing ... but not with our actual ringtone," he spoke more to himself than to Koichi.
Koichi could only nod because he was amazed too.
When they tried to investigate the riddle, they saw that they had received a message. They wanted to open this, but it disappeared again - the same theater as with Takuya.
"I don't get that now ...", Koji mumbled thoughtfully to himself, Koichi could only grin.
"But do you know what I'm wondering?", The long-haired man looked at his counterpart. The addressee shook his head.
"Why did we both receive a message at the same moment that is deleted immediately when we want to look at it? What does that mean? What does this message mean? Or the whole situation? We must not ignore the ringing because that also plays an important role. Why did our cell phone have the same ringtone even though we usually have different ones? "
Koichi strained his brain cells. There was something behind it. Something was wrong ...
"It could be that it was a call for help or something like that," Koichi guessed and frowned heavily, "And the 'villain' didn't want the content of the message to reach the outside world, which is why it was deleted immediately becomes."
"Yes, that is a possible assumption, but you ignored one thing," said Koji, his twin stopped thinking at the moment, "The message was only deleted when we tried to open it. If the 'villain' - or whatever you want to call it - doesn't want the content to be exposed if it should have deleted it before anyone even notices it. "
"Yes, that may be true, but maybe he just didn't make it in time before," argued Koichi."The best thing to do is to ask the others for help," suggested Koji, already looking for Takuya's number. However, before he could press the call button, he was called himself.

Takuya stared pensively into the air. After a while he finally decided to call the whole group that was in Digiwelt back then to arrange a meeting after ages.
He looked up Koji's number on his cell phone so he could call him first.
It rang. Koji answered surprisingly quickly - after the first ring.
"Hey, Takuya," he greeted him, his voice sounding quite serious, "You're quite right, because I just wanted to call you too."
The brunette put on a surprised expression, but did not ask why, since he did not want to put his real intention in the background.
"I want to ask you if you might have time tomorrow. I want to organize a meeting because I have something very important to discuss with you all."
The black-haired man didn't have to think for a second, he immediately agreed. Then he asked his twin brother if he also had the time and would like. Koichi replied in the affirmative.
"Well, then we just have to let Tommy and J.P. know."
"I can call Tommy, will you let J.P. know?", Koji asked the brunette over the phone.
"All right," they both hung up.
It's a shame that Zoe now lives in Italy ..., Koji shot through the head, a sad expression spread across his face,How is she doing now?
