"07:55! That's good! The shops will open in five minutes, then we can do your shopping straight away!", He recognized happily, and grinned at me, "Up, up! We have to go to Diagon Alley!"
I saved myself the question of where exactly it was going now, because he was already pushing me out the back door. It led into a small courtyard that couldn't hurt to be swept up once! I looked around in amazement, but no matter how hard I tried to spot another door or gate, I couldn't see anything like that.
I inspected the wall we were standing in front of, and asked myself how we should get over there, because we definitely had to, after all, we had no other option!
But I made a conscious effort to keep my mouth shut and not speak this question out loud. I wasn't about to make a fool of myself one more time and endure Ruphus's amused grin.I was by no means surprised, even rather relieved, when he stepped closer to the wall, tapped three different bricks with his wand, these blocks suddenly began to form a gate and thus allowed us to pass!
As we stepped out onto the busy street, the gate closed behind us.
I looked around curiously. Impatient shoppers had already gathered in front of the shops, dressed just as strangely as Ruphus, and fidgeting hectically waiting to be let in.
"Take a look in the envelope that I gave you earlier!" Said Ruphus suddenly and looked around, "There must be a note with the things you need for school!"
I took the said envelope out of my trouser pocket, took out the note that Ruphus said, and read it out loud:
