Chapter: A blind date with consequences - PART 2
It was Saturday evening, and Trunks and Son-Goten had decided to go to the movies with their blind dates first. If the two of them found their appointments awful, they could say after dinner that it was a very nice evening and slip away without it being conspicuous, because they wouldn't tell the girls anything about the cinema at first. Son-Goten had this idea. The boys were flying, extra slowly, towards the city when Son-Goten asked
"Do you really think these two look good?"
Trunks looked thoughtful:
"That is actually my smallest worry ..."
They were silent the rest of the way to the snack bar where they were going to meet the girls. They ended up on a side street and made their way to the takeaway. The streets in the city were very busy and the billboards made them appear bright during the day. When the two reached their meeting point and they saw the crowd, Trunks asked a question:
"How do we actually recognize the girls in the crowd?"
Son-Goten was busy looking at all the people, and without looking at Trunks he said absently:
"My mother said that the girls will definitely recognize us ... Don't ask me why."
Trunks frowned and looked around a little now.
"Aren't you two Trunks and Goths?" suddenly asked a voice behind the two of them.
They turned around and saw their dates. Son-Goten grinned and said:
"Yeah, I take it you are our dates?"
The girl who had not yet spoken now said:

Enthusiastic she took Son-Goten's hand and laughingly led him to a table that she and Mija, who meanwhile clung to Trunks, had apparently reserved in advance in the snack bar.
Trunks was getting claustrophobic, because Mija had hooked herself to him, snuggled close to him, and was grinning at him incessantly. Son-Goths fared little differently, although he didn't seem as displeased as Trunks.
"Wow, you have a lot of muscles!" Mija said admiringly to the boys.
"Well, that makes the hard training!" declared Son-Goten proudly.
Trunks had to keep from laughing. They hadn't trained for a long time, let alone fought properly. Usually his best friend was O.K., but in the presence of girls he always showed off and exaggerated excessively. KRACH-Trunks had fallen from his chair.
"A..a..ight ???" he stammered when he got up.
"Of course! So the chances are higher that one of them will get a good job and take care of us when we are old!"
Kasaki's and Mija's plans for the future had a big impact on Trunks and Goths. The two boys stared at the girls with their mouths open, then collapsed in their seats.
"Haven't you thought about your future yet?" asked Kasaki happily. "After all, we are as good as grown up!"
