Chapter: The Return Of The Sajajins (part four)

Trunks stared at the girl in disbelief, but then pulled himself together. He had an idea, a little ruse he'd seen on a television series. He didn't know if she was pulling on the girl, but it was worth a try.

"How ... did you do that ... blonde hair ??" He tried to put on a scared look, but at the same time made sure not to overdo it.

The girl grinned broadly, almost confident of victory. “So let's begin.” She looked around, nodded in satisfaction as they surveyed their battlefield. All around them were rocks, sand and dust. No people to drag them into. Not that it bothered her.

"On one condition. If I win, you tell me all about yourself."

“What if I win?” The girl asked suspiciously.

"Then ..." Trunks considered. "I will leave you alone forever."

The girl thought about it, looked at him suspiciously with her dark eyes. "Because of me!"She growled.

Again with a confident smile. "Then you'd better get out of here. You won't win!"

“We'll see!” With these words, Trunks also completed his transformation into a Super Sajajin, only in level 2 of a higher version than the girl's. The girl was amazed when she saw a boy with stiff blond hair in front of her. You could clearly feel the strong aura emanating from Trunks. His icy blue eyes literally speared the girl. And if he looked closely, he could see the fear in her eyes.

But only briefly, in the next moment they glittered just as hard as before. “Don't think I'm impressed by you!” She snapped and took to the skies.

Trunks watched her go from the floor. He smiled hard. The fight would begin in a few moments, and yet Trunks felt no sign of tension. On the contrary, he had never entered a fight as calmly as on that day.He didn't know why, but he didn't want to underestimate the girl. It was good, even without metamorphosis. And she would be even better with Transformation, that was certain.

“Anyone who passes out or disappears has lost!” With that she attacked. She came flying towards him at a murderous pace.

Trunks ducked, took up fighting stance. His eyes followed her quick movements. She was really nimble, sometimes it seemed he couldn't follow her. But he felt it even before she appeared in front of him. He raised his right arm, angled the other back, and blocked her blow. At the same moment he shot forward with his left hand and gave her a hard blow in the face that made her stumble backwards. But it didn't fall over, on the contrary, the next moment it attacked again. Again she disappeared.

Trunks smiled slightly, she didn't seem to be smart about making the same attack again. But he should be wrong, because instead of appearing in front of him, she was gone.

Confused, he looked around. But he could neither see nor feel her. His eyes flicked nervously from side to side, taking in stony rocks and bare desert patches. He also looked at the sky, but could not see it. For a moment the thought occurred to him that she had found her salvation in flight, but that was not the style of a Sajajin. The sun blinded him and only now did he feel that he was already bathed in sweat, even though he had hardly made any effort. Even so, he didn't lose his focus, but he couldn't stop himself stumbling forward, hit in the back. He turned around in a flash, but couldn't see anything. At the same moment he was hit again violently in the back and again he could not see anything after turning around. That went on for a while. Before he knew it, he stumbled forward again, but he didn't see the girl. He didn't feel it either. He had never seen an attack like this before. She was able to hide her ki while using an attack. That was incredible. Even Son Goku couldn't do that.

He was hit in the back again, but so hard that he fell to the ground. He quickly jumped up and to the side, the following blow missed him by a hair's breadth. He could still hear the hiss with which the girl had appeared and disappeared again. Trunks stopped, puzzled, and closed his eyes. He had found a solution.

All his concentration was on his hearing. The wind howled softly and he could even hear the sand moving, carried by the wind. But then he heard it again, the hissing. This time it came from the right and ended behind him. Without thinking, he jumped around in one swift motion and put his hand in the air.

Direct hit, in the next moment he felt the girl fidget whose wrist he had grabbed. And a second later she showed him. “How did you do that?” She asked, amazed but also angry.

"You used it too often. But the trick is cool, you have to teach me to do it when you get the chance." And with that he hurled her in the direction of a large rock, which she inevitably flew into. It was a long time before she reappeared. Trunks was afraid he would have killed her and stepped closer to the rock. At the same moment he saw her.

The girl stepped out of the mountain, swaying but upright. She was breathing heavily, which was also due to the heat that prevailed that day. Trunks was also sweating from every pore and his breath was anything but calm. Nevertheless, unlike the girl, he still had some energy reserves. Staggering, she came running towards him, her gaze wandering back and forth between him and the sun, which shone mercilessly down on her.

Her shirt stuck to her body and even her skirt was no longer blowing gently in the wind. Much more, it hung heavily on her and was soiled with dust and dirt. There was a small wound over her eyes from which blood flowed in small streams. She brushed it aside, still staring at Trunks. "You are good, really. And above all more developed than me."

"Let's stop. You are far too weak to keep fighting."

"Nonsense! I still have a lot of energy reserves and ..."

"And yet they are less than mine. Besides, the heat bothers us, you more than me!" Trunks interrupted her and looked at her determinedly.

“Papperlapp!” Was all she meant. It no longer sounded too convincing as before. "A Sajajin never gives up."

"You know, when you realize that your opponent is stronger than you are, it's not cowardice and shame to give up."

The girl looked puzzled, but then smiled. It was a warm smile, the first warm smile that seemed to light up her face. And while she smiled she turned back. Her eyes went dark again, as did her hair. “You're probably right.” She stepped in front of him and held out her hand.

Trunks grabbed it with a smile after he had transformed back into shape. "It was a good fight!"

"Yes," breathed the girl, "that was it."

She looked briefly at the sky. Trunks followed her gaze and guessed that the fight had only lasted ten minutes. And yet he was exhausted like never before. But it was a good fight and it would have been a lot harder if he had fought at the same Super Sajajin level that the girl fought in. He averted his gaze from the blue of the sky and raised his eyebrows at the girl.

The girl met his gaze for a moment, but then wiped the dust from his clothes and hair. This proved extremely difficult as the dust held by her sweat stuck to her body and clothing. Finally she let it go, sighed heavily. Her gaze stayed briefly on Trunks, who had been watching the situation the whole time.

"Who are you?" He asked, this time only raising his left eyebrow so that for a brief moment he looked astonishingly like his father. He too had that skeptical look that would probably be remembered by anyone who had known his father.

The girl smiled slightly. "My name is Kira, at least everyone calls me that, that has to be enough for you." She glanced at him, but then realized that it was enough for him and continued. "Like you, I'm a Sajajin. My ancestors come from the planet Vegeta, which exploded. I don't know if you know anything about it."

Trunks nodded silently, waving her hand to continue.

"I myself have never seen Vegeta, was born on another planet called Honth." Her eyes darkened and anger and sadness graced him. Trunks didn't understand, but didn't want to interrupt either.

"Honth is a planet far away from here. Much further away than Vegeta. Even from Vegeta to Honth it would take years with your technology, you understand?" Trunks nodded again, but then decided to ask. “And how long would it take you to do this thing?” His head jerked toward the space capsule, which stood a few steps away from them, completely untouched.

"A week, at most, more like 5 days. Honth is a beautiful planet, very similar to this one, except that the gravity is at least twice as high as here. Many Sajajins who flew around in space during the explosion came here and it would be became a new home planet for us until ... "she paused, and this time Trunks could clearly see the anger and sadness in her pretty, dark eyes.

"Until?" He asked as gently as possible without pushing her too much.

"Until ..." Her gaze wandered as she continued. As if she would experience all of this all over again, perceive all the horrors again. "Until Storg came. He and his people entered the planet like a devil. He didn't want to destroy it, just seize power. Honth is a rich planet, rich in natural resources and foodstuffs that could be sold dearly in the world. We Sajajins never cared about it, things like that had never been important to us, having learned from the last time we had done business with others, but Storg wanted it, and he wanted it by force. We fought, there were about eight Super Sajajins among us. But none, really none, had a chance against him. Even when the eight of them fought him, they had just as little chance as alone. Storg is incredibly strong, a thousand times stronger as a freezer. Now the rest of our people are busy working as slaves for him. Every day we work
