door.

"Slow down, buddy! Where are you going?" Vegeta was stopped by a nurse after a few steps.

"Bring me to my companion at once, Grünkittel!" the sayajin ruled the man in front of him.

"Not so fast! First of all you have to put on germ-free protective clothing!"

"Grrrmmhh! Then go!"

So Vegeta was put into a green surgical gown and had to put on rubber gloves. Getting his tall, wild mane under the protective hood proved particularly difficult, but a small cloth bag for dirty sheets could help.

Then he was finally allowed into the delivery room.

Bulma was lying on a delivery bed, nervously playing with the fabric of her short nightgown. Vegeta felt that she was scared and to be honest, he was also feeling a bit queasy. Because he had absolutely no idea how such a birth went and whether it could be dangerous for his partner.

When Bulma saw the Sayajin trudging towards her, she giggled despite everything.

"Hihi, how do you look!"

"Don't you dare laugh! Those stupid hospital regulations!" he growled.

"In any case, it's nice that you're here. -Have my parents already arrived?"

"They are waiting outside."

"Good. Stand here next to me and hold my hand ..."

Vegeta followed your request. No sooner had he taken your hand than Bulma's body spasmed under new violent labor.

Son Goku was standing outside the house on the bank of the small stream that flowed past his home. His hands were clenched into fists, and he was staring at the floor with a pinched face.

"Bulma ... the baby! It's time! -Vegeta, help her, she needs you now!" he thought.

"It's ... it's coming!" Bulma gasped at the same time, clutching Vegeta's hand with her fingers. The Sayajin was sweating on his forehead, so now it started!

"Take it easy, Mrs. Briefs ... breathe evenly ..." the nurse gave instructions in a soft, calm voice. "And when I say it, they press! - Now!"

Bulma let out a choked scream, her upper body jerked forward!

"That's good! You do it very well! -And don't forget to breathe evenly!" called the midwife who was standing by the head of the bed.

Vegeta's partner breathed in gusts, waiting for the next contraction.

"You dear time! It must be agony! And that is what a woman goes through when she brings offspring into the world?" thought the sayajin.

The next scream from his partner tore him out of his thoughts.

"Damn it!" Bulma cursed in pain.

"Courage, Mrs. Briefs, the head is almost out! - And press again!"

Curious, Vegeta let go of Bulma's hand, took a step forward and leaned forward to where the midwife was standing who was fetching the baby.

"You'd better stay with your wife, you'll only be a nuisance here!" she ruled at the sayajin. Vegeta wanted to reply something, but suddenly his eyes widened in horror and his face turned green!

"You see, that's what you get out of it!"

Vegeta suppressed with all his might that his stomach contents came up and he passed out! But when he returned to Bulma's side, he staggered more than he walked.

"Man, you're as green as your surgical gown!" she gasped between the next contraction.

"So no shit! I feel sick!" he growled and took three deep breaths. Then he felt better and the green color disappeared from his face.

"The head is out! We made it in a moment! Keep it up, Mrs.Briefs, you do it well! "Encouraged Sister Bulma.

"Then on to the final spurt!" she gasped through clenched teeth and grabbed Vegeta's hand again.

With a releasing groan, Bulma finally fell back on the pillow and took a breath first. She and Vegeta were drenched in sweat and panting.

"Bravo, Mrs.Briefs! You did it! It's a boy!" called the midwife. At the same time the newborn gave its first cry!

"Do you hear that, Vegeta?" Bulma snorted.

"I have to admit, that was a fantastic achievement! You women are not that bad at all!"

She smiled gratefully at him when he kissed her lightly on the mouth.

"Soo ... here is the little one." the nurse smiled and placed the newborn on Bulma's stomach.

"Look, this is your son, Vegeta!" his partner smiled and stroked the newcomer's head tenderly.

"Looks a little tiny. And wrinkled. - And what kind of long string is that there? "

"That is the umbilical cord. All children who are born this way are connected to the mother until they leave your belly. You also have a small hole in the middle of your belly. Your connection to your mother ended then . "

"I don't quite get it."

"I'll explain it to you when we're back home, if you want. You see, and now the midwife will sever this connection, she is no longer needed."

"Do you want to cut the umbilical cord?" asked the nurse Vegeta.

"OK."

But he did not use the scalpel offered for this, but severed the connection with a weak energy beam from his finger!

"S-that's how it works, of course!" stammered the midwife and took the baby with her. It was cleaned and the umbilical cord was taken care of.

The chief doctor came back and had the midwife give him the newborn, which he then subjected to a detailed examination.

"How did the birth go?" he asked her.

"Without complications."

"Very nice." the doctor nodded, then turned to the new parents.

"Congratulations Mrs. Briefs! You have a healthy baby! Although the little one is three weeks early, he is not missing anything. Weight 3658g, height 52 cm. -So, my little one - and here is your ID. So that there are no mistakes ! " he smiled and tied a white plastic band to the newborn's right wrist.

"Can I have my son now?" Vegeta growled, pushed himself next to the doctor and picked up his little one.

"Hey, that's how it works ..." the doctor wanted to protest, but when he saw the threatening look of the Sayajin he didn't dare to contradict.

The newborn now opened its eyes wide for the first time and looked at its father. Vegeta looked into two large, bright blue eyes.

"He's got his mother's eyes." he thought. "But what did he inherit from me?"

Vegeta took a close look at the newborn from all sides, turned it back and forth, even briefly upside down, and held it by the legs!

"No tail." he noticed first. Then he turned to the senior doctor.

"Hey - and he has almost no hair at all! Just a tiny curl up there!" he complained. Bulma rolled her eyes in annoyance. Maybe having him in the delivery room wasn't such a good idea.

"That's normal. The hair still comes when he gets older." explained the pediatrician. "In any case, the little one is alive and well. I congratulate you!"

Vegeta just grunted a little indistinctly and then turned to Bulma.

"Young Sayajins are always born fully developed. So, too, with hair. And they are also somewhat larger and stronger than human babies. The little one here is still tiny and quite fragile! He is so ... so human!"

"Be patient, Vegeta. Soon he'll crawl away from us all!Children grow up so quickly! "

"If you mean ..." he growled and gave the newborn back to its mother. The nurse helped her into a sitting position and gave Bulma a blanket to wrap her son in.

Vegeta stood a little to one side with folded arms and watched his partner as she held her newborn son in her arms and caressed her with shining eyes. He could feel the strong bond between mother and child that was now building. And he felt that this love and warmth that emanated from this intense bond made the two inseparable. The Sayajins had never had such a strong bond.

And Vegeta was proud of Bulma. Proud of what she had endured to give his son his life. It also required great strength and strength. And for that he loved her even more now. He sighed and returned to your side.

"Vegeta, please take the little one out to my parents. You want to see your grandson too. "Asked Bulma.

"Why don't we all three go?" grinned the Sayajin and before the doctor and the nurse could protest, he lifted his partner out of bed with the baby in his arms and simply carried her outside!

"Oooh! There is my girl!" exclaimed Mrs. Briefs. The freshly baked grandparents ran towards the two of them.

"Hello mum, hello dad! Here is your grandson." Bulma smiled and passed the newborn on to her mother. They look at the baby with tears of joy in their eyes.

"He's beautiful. - How are you, my child?" asked Dr. Briefs.

"I survived it well. I'm just doing something."

After a final checkup, Bulma was taken to a hospital room. There was already a mobile cot for the newborn here. Vegeta and Bulma's parents went with them.

"What a day! Now we're finally grandparents!" said Mrs. Briefs.

"We'll visit you again tomorrow." explained Dr. Briefs.

"And you, Vegeta?" asked Bulma.

"I will stay here! I will not leave you here alone!"

"You want to stay here all night?"

"Why not?"

"He wants to take care of you!" Bulma's mother smiled.

"All right. You can sleep on the sofa back there, Vegeta."

"See you tomorrow, my child."

"See you tomorrow, Mum. And bring some clean clothes for Vegeta."

"I will!"

"I thought they'd never go!" the Sayajin growled and sat down next to Bulma on the bed. He was glad to be off the surgical gown and thin gloves. Especially that impossible hood on his head!

"Don't you want to take off your armor? You definitely don't have to fight here!"

"You're right."

So he took off the breastplate and white
