It took Bulma several days to figure out how the Digivice worked.At some point she was ready to make a copy of it.


Rika lay on the deck chair in the garden and read a book that she had received from Trunks. It was called 'Free' (it was just 'Free' from the Lighthouse Family 'on the radio!) And it was about an eagle who had grown up in captivity and was about to be released. Trunks and Marron got along better and better and had gone into town together today. Goten had to crap on an exam, Trunks should have done it too, but Marron had persuaded him to take a stroll through town. So Rika was alone, except for Vegeta and Bulma. But since Vegeta is training and Bulma is working ..... "Rika ?! Could you come please?" Bulma called questioningly into the garden. "Yes, I'm on the way!" said Rika and put the book aside. Bulma was standing in the frame of the patio door, holding the digivice in her hand. "Did you figure out how to use it to get into another world?" asked Rika. "Not quite yet, I should do a few tests with you!"" Sure, what do I have to do? "" So this is an exact copy of your DV (I'll abbreviate it now! Digivice = DV)! I found that you can put the energy into the DV through your hand! I don't know how it reacts! "Replied Bulma." Then we should find out, but not here! If something blows up, then .......! "" Okay, I'll finish a glider and then we'll fly into the desert! “And I'll change!” Said Rika and went to her room, where she transformed into Jeanne, everyone had now noticed that Rika could transform into Jeanne.


For a quarter of an hour she sat with Bulma in a glider. They flew into the desert together. Once there, Bulma turned the glider back into a capsule and pocketed it. She handed the DV to Rika and took a few steps to the side. "You have to let your ki flow into the DV through your hand!" she explained to Rika. Rika concentrated and let all her energy flow.Then it banged. Smoke. Bulma lay on the floor and held her arms protectively over her head. Small stones flew around. The smoke slowly cleared again. Bulma opened her eyes slowly and looked at the place where Rika had stood. She was still there, but her face and clothes were covered all over with black soot. Rika turned around slowly and looked at Bulma puzzled. The DV she was holding in her hand was gone. "Was that part of your plan too?" asked Rika. "No, actually a gate or a tunnel should open! Maybe you used too much energy or I forgot something!" replied Bulma. "I think that's enough for today, I'll try again tomorrow! Not that I'm still pulverized!" grinned Rika. Bulma took the glider out again and they flew back.


Just as they got off the glider, Marron Trunks and Goten landed in front of the Capsule Corp. "So, what do you look like?" Trunks asked with a grin."Why?" Rika asked, she was so lost in thought that she had completely forgotten how she looked. "Well, look at yourself, you are all black!" answered Marron. "Oh, I completely forgot!" grinned Rika. Goten came up to her and wiped the soot off her face with his hand, then he kissed her and took her in his arms. "Now you look just like me!" said Rika with a grin. "Oops, I'm pretty stupid!" said Goten. Marron and Trunks started laughing. Rika calmly walked up to the two of them and hugged them, then gave them both a handprint on their faces. "So, now we all go in a partner look!" "Haha, now we can all change!" said Trunks angrily. "Oh come on! Trunksi! Don't be offended just because you look like me!" said Rika. "Exactly, you're an old spoilsport!" added Marron. "Wait!" muttered Trunks. He appeared behind Marron and Rika, who were standing next to each other, and snapped them both. "Hey!What is that supposed to mean? "Shouted the two of them." Oh, I want to have a little fun too! "Grinned Trunks." Now let my girlfriend down again! "Said Goten." Nope, the two of them are going to bathe now! " Marron and Rika fidgeted, but they couldn't defend themselves because they had to laugh so much. Goten looked at Bulma, who shook her head, he shrugged his shoulders and flew after Trunks.


Trunks flew to the sea. A few meters from the beach it floated just above the surface of the water. Then he let go of Marron and Rika. Goten hovered beside him and grinned. "Splash" After a short time, Marron and Rika reappeared. Marron was clean again, but a few black streams still ran through Rika's face. She went under again and then shot out of the water. Marron had meanwhile floated to Trunks and tried to push him into the water. But she didn't make it because he always dodged her playfully. "Man, now let me just win!" said Marron."Why then?" asked Trunks. The two moved further and further away from Goten and Rika.


"You Son-Goths, I have to tell you something! But promise me that you won't be mad at me! Okay?" said Rika while hugging her. He gave her a tender kiss. "I could never be mad at you!" said Goten. "Believe me, you can, at the latest when I've explained everything to you!" she muttered sadly and avoided his gaze. "Now tell me! Otherwise you will never find out if I would have been mad at you!" "Well! I was in the desert with Bulma today! There we tried a duplicate of the DV! Bulma will help me get back into my world It hasn't worked out yet, but with Bulma's IQ it won't be long before it happens! And then it'll be 'bye Rika', probably never to see you again! I would really understand if you were angry with me now me! " explained Rika and turned away from him completely. 'So, now it's out! He will surely want nothing more to do with me!I would understand! If only he wasn't so damn cute! ' thought Rika and thick tears rolled down her cheeks.


Goten looked at her. It looked like a pile of misery. He turned her towards him and took her in his arms. 'Poor, she hid it from me for so long and I didn't notice! How could I believe she would stay here forever! ' he thought to himself. "It's okay! I'm not angry. I should have thought that you don't want to stay with me forever! Just because of your friends," he said tenderly. "Thanks!" sobbed Rika. "Will you help me? I have to learn to control my Ki even better, I blew up the DV duplicate on the first try!" Rika asked in a tearful voice. "Of course, but I think you'd better take a break! Come on, I'll take you to the CC!" said Goten and took her in his arms.




Rika trained very hard for the next few weeks. She learned a lot, but also suffered a lot of defeats.Because every time she and Bulma tried a new duplicate, Rika blew it up, or it didn't work at all. Sometimes she was so frustrated that she even poked at Goten, although she didn't want to and afterwards she always felt terribly sorry. Marron and Trunks showed less and less, because they preferred to go to the cinema, or swim or the like.


When Rika was still unsuccessful after 1 ½ months, she gave up. She just didn't feel like it anymore. Because she freaked out more and more often and Goten or Bulma had to suffer from it.


It was raining outside. Rika sat in her room in the CC and looked out the window. She had her com in front of her. She'd tried to contact Fynn or Axes or Chiaki a couple of times but it didn't work. Either the three had given up hope or they were dead. She had to finally get back into her world. Just how was the question? She suddenly jumped up and grabbed her backpack containing her rosary and DV.Threw the com, opened the window and flew out into the rain. A little later she landed at the place where Trunks and Goten had found her. She took her DV out of her pocket and held it up to the sky. Then she directed the energy into the DV. A white beam shot out of the DV, straight into the sky. There was tremendous energy emanating from her DV. She could feel it.




Goten and Trunks sat with Marron in front of the television. When all three felt this incredible energy. Goten jumped up, Trunks and Marron also looked astonished. "It's the same energy as when Rika came to us!" whispered Goten. "We have to see her! Not that she can think of anything else stupid!" Trunks said and he had already opened the door and was outside in the rain with Marron in his arms. Goten powered up on SSJ and shot past the two. 'I do not want to loose her! She is special to me! Please Rika, wait until I'm with you! ' he thought to himself.
