Vegeta hardly noticed any more of it. Nappa was about to break his second arm. With a jerk the bone was through. The prince no longer had the strength to scream. He gasped and writhed on the floor. Raditz kicked him again, always in the head.


"Oh, my god Gohan!".


ChiChi stormed out of the house and ran to her son.

"Gohan, wake up!"


She shook him and started crying. But the boy stayed where he was.


Freezer grinned crookedly and raised a hand.


Goku raised his head and saw what he was up to.


At the same time as the energy beam from Freezer, Son-Goku ran off.


He jumped and threw himself in front of ChiChi.


The beam bored into his side. ChiChi fell to the floor, Goku grimaced.


He propped himself up again and looked worriedly down at his wife. Nothing happened to her.


He let out a relieved breath. He grimaced again. Then ChiChi suddenly looked frightened below him.


Before Son-Goku understood what was going on, she jerked up and threw him on his back.


A hiss, ChiChi's eyes widened, something warm dripped onto his hand.


He pulled it out from under his wife and realized it was blood. Now he also saw that Freezer was standing over him and pulling his hand from her back again.

ChiChi collapsed on top of him. He laid her gently on her back and brushed a strand of hair back from her face.


She coughed and spat blood. Then she looked him in the eye. Goku smiled a bit pained, but then her eyes went blank. Her head fell to one side and her hand slipped out of his.


Freezer grinned again and reached out to kick Goku away.


Vegeta crouched on the ground and waited to be finally released. He says that Piccolo was lying motionless on the floor, similar to Gohan. ChiChi also seemed to have caught it. Kakarott hit the ground hard after Freezer kicked him in the stomach.


Then the long-awaited blackness set in. It was slowly getting dark around him. He thought of his wife, his child, of everyone on earth he knew and then he wished his archenemy all the best. He was the only hope for the others. Then he closed his eyes and disappeared from this planet forever.

Son-Gou stood up, swaying. His arm hurt, he was bleeding all over, scratches and cuts covered his body. Every breath burned and that unimaginable pain in his heart almost killed him. They were dead. They were all dead. ChiChi, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta. Everyone he cared about was dead.


An unbelievable anger rose in him.


Cell and the others joined Freezer and laughed. They laughed scornfully and triumphantly.


"Well, what do you think? Shouldn't we say goodbye to him with a big bang?" Asked Freezer mockingly, whereupon the others began to laugh and clap even more.


Then they all raised their hands and gathered all their energies.


Son-Goku also concentrated, his golden aura disappeared and became a blinding light.


He formed a funnel with his hands and grabbed it behind him.

For Gohan.

Ha.


For ChiChi


The rays of the hell creatures combined into one gigantic beam. Goku's Kamehame-Ha also swelled and hit with a titanic bang.


Pressure waves roared, smoke flew away, a bright ball of light appeared in the interface.


More and more energy flowed together, it banged again and again, louder, more powerful, Freezer and the others had lost their laughter. They doggedly pressed their energy beam to Son Goku.


This roared again, releasing all of his anger and hatred.

There was silence.


Freezer and the others were gone. Their screams had faded into the galactic explosion. They were dead, destroyed.


Goku was breathing heavily, he could barely stand on his feet.


He turned and walked over to his wife. He collapsed on the way. He crawled on.


The pain got worse and worse.His whole body was a single wound.


With the last of his strength, he stretched out his arm and desperately grabbed ChiChi's hand. When he got it, he smiled and then put it down, satisfied. His arm went slack and his breathing soon stopped. One last beat and his heart was still too. But he died happy. He would see them all again in the afterlife .........




A few weeks later, all of the Z gang members gathered at the graves. Goku, Gohan and ChiChi were buried next to each other, Vegeta was a little off and Piccolo was brought to Namek. Nobody said a word, only tears soaked the ground and betrayed sorrow. And everyone read the inscription on Goku's tombstone over and over again.
