Chapter: Amber (Part5)

Preface:

So, the fifth part! I hope he's as good as the last four! I did my best Read it through and tell me what you think.

As if in response, the castle gate opened. They walked slowly towards it. Rae had zapped away again by now. "Funny! Much too easy, I would say!" Videl said and hesitantly walked towards the gate. "Wait! Maybe it's a trap! We should be very careful!" said Marron and stepped behind Videl, who had stopped. "I have an idea!" said Bra. She raised her hand and a green flame appeared there. Then she shot it down into the darkness of the gate. It got light there. "Nothing! Nobody! We have been invited to come to the castle, but no guide has been sent to us! Should we accept the invitation?" Amber asked. Pan nodded and stepped forward with a springy step. They went through the gate into a hall. There were statues of mythical creatures everywhere. The hall was supported on pillars, each pillar was a different animal.Sometimes a rearing Pegasus, then a dragon, a unicorn and so on. The five friends walked slowly down the long hall. (Imagine the hall as a kind of rectangle, it is divided into thirds, in the middle is the corridor, which is lined by the columns!) It was dim again and seemed to want to end. "Crazy! These animals, it was probably a great artist who carved them in stone! They look really real!" Bra whispered in awe. "Yes! Mara has always attached great importance to impressions! As I can see, you are all impressed by this hall!" Amber said dryly. "Yes, she is absolutely amazing!" said Videl. "But it is true that all these animals are alive! They are petrified, at some point they will probably be awakened again when their time comes!" said Amber and went on. They had stopped just before a centauer. Suddenly two figures appeared in front of them. It was the two girls who had brought Goten and Trunks the food. But they no longer wore the dark blue dresses, but long white dresses that changed color depending on the movement of the two. Their hair gently caressed their bodies and they shone brightly. They had wings on their backs. Transparent elven wings. "Who are you?" asked Marron. "We are elves!" said one in a lovely, gentle and bright-sounding voice. "Aha! Elves! And what are elves doing here in the castle of the black sorceress Mara?" Amber asked suspiciously. "We are her servants! She doesn't know that we are elves, otherwise we would be here in the trophy hall. For her we are two simple girls who she admire!" explained the second in a voice that was just as lovely, bright and gentle. "Wow, elves! What is there!" Pan whispered and stepped around the two of them. "Why are you here?" Videl finally asked after they had been silent for a few minutes. "We have opened the gate for you! Your friends are in the great hall under the glass dome!"She plays with them like animals! Be on your guard, there are many dangers awaiting you on your way! We have to go back! Good luck! "Said the first again. And they disappeared just as quickly as they had appeared." I would say that was really crazy! "Bra said. They walked slowly down the hall. The entrance gate you couldn't see it for a long time. "Funny that the elves can't get rid of Mara! I don't trust this thing!" thought Amber, who was walking a little behind the others, her brooding not noticing the small shadows that silently followed them.

"The food is really good!" smacked Goten. Trunks could only nod in agreement because his mouth was full. They shoveled everything down to the last crumb. But they would rather not have done that. After they finished their meal, they suddenly became very tired. They fell into a dreamless, deep sleep. The dome lowered and the feline figures came and carried the two SJ away. Mara had enjoyed the spectacle. 'These SJ are really weird! They can fight like tigers and with the courage of a lion, but when it comes to food they are like animals. ' she thought and shook her head. Two girls came up to her. "What is?" Mara asked rudely. "You are in the castle! We did what you told us to do! You have now walked halfway through the great hall!" said one. "Very good! I hope everything is ready for the reception in the garden of Eden?" Mara asked the two of them. "Yes! They are already there! When the five get there, they will be received as they deserve!" said the other. Mara smiled. She gave the two of them a wave and they disappeared again. "Kabarakh, come to me!" she ordered the feline creature that had been standing in the shadow of a black pillar the whole time. Kabarakh stepped forward. "Yes! My Lady?" he groaned."I want you to keep monitoring our two elves! If they do something that could harm me, take them out! But in such a way that they still fit into the trophy hall!" she said in a cold, calm tone. "As my lady command!" Kabarakh meowed and disappeared into the darkness. Mara got up and walked away in a different direction with a smile, she still had something important to do.

"This witch is getting on my nerves, Pia! I'm fed up with her!" said one elf as they wade out of earshot. "Shh! Not so loud! You know this figure! It's the same for me, Vicky! I want to get away from here, but we can't!" whisper Pia. They walked slowly down the aisle. Kabarakh was hot on their heels. He hadn't noticed anything of the brief exchange. They went into their rooms and locked the door. Immediately after the door was closed a bright light appeared and they stood there in their real form."This musty, rotten, disgusting lock! I want to get out of here! And if I .....!" Vicky grumbled, she got no further. Pia had put her hand to her mouth. "I said you shouldn't shout like that! Otherwise we'll be dead!" said Pia softly. "Let me!" Vicky bitched and fell on the bed. Kabarakh leaned against the door and listened. The door opened and the elf stood in front of him. "What are you doing here? Kabarakh! You shouldn't always spy on us!" Pia snapped at him. "The sorceress knows about your identity! If you continue to be so careless, then .....!" Kabarakh grumbled and ran his index finger along his neck. Pia swallowed, she had already suspected something like that. Lucky that this creature was on their side. "Thank you! That you haven't betrayed us yet! We are very grateful to you! But now you do your job too, otherwise all three of us will be dead!" Pia said and grinned and disappeared back into the room. "Did you catch him in front of our door again?" Vicky asked bored. "Yes!Mara knows how we really look! It will be very dangerous for us now, we can no longer support the five as planned! "Pia sighed and sat down next to Vicky on the bed.

Mara had walked down the long corridor and now came to her private rooms, which no one except her was allowed to enter. She opened the door. A cloud of mist came towards hers. She entered and looked around. Then she walked purposefully towards a shelf. From the shelf she took a small vial containing a green liquid. She smiled and poured the liquid into a kettle that was next to the shelf. A green swath of noise sloshed out of the kettle. She took another vessel from the shelf that was empty. She filled it halfway with the liquid from the kettle, which was a poisonous orange. She tied it to her belt with the other bottles and left her room again. 'These would-be warriors can experience their blue miracle!' she thought to herself.

"It's too quiet here, that makes me uneasy!" Amber groaned, who followed the others. "Yes, I know what you mean! It's like the calm before the storm! The only question is what the storm is!" said Videl, who was now walking next to Amber. "By the way, we're being followed!" say Marron casually. "Yes, but why don't they attack?" asked Pan. "Maybe you have the order to let us go as long as we don't act hostile!" suggested Bra. "Yes, then it must be about time I acted hostile! Otherwise I will die of boredom!" Amber grinned. She raised her hands and held the sword with the blade of fire in her hand again. As a result, she appeared a lot bigger to the others. Marron did the same and held a silver staff in his hand, at the tip of which was a ring, in the middle of which floated a ball of water that shimmered mysteriously. "Wow! Cool! Why didn't we meet earlier?" Marron asked with a big grin."I do not know either!" Amber grinned back. Marron and Amber looked at Videl, Pan and Bra promptly. Videl was holding a crystal bow, the arrows of which appeared on the string of their own accord. They were silver and swift as the wind. Pan was holding a ring that was twice the size of her hand. It was a dangerous weapon that kept coming back to its owner. The ring was yellow and decorated with many runes. Bra had morning stars. Two small ones in each hand, they shimmered green. She carried a larger one on her back. The morning stars had a return effect, they kept coming back to the owner. "Are you ready?" asked Bra, holding up her morning star. The others nodded. They attacked the figures lurking behind the pillars. Pan did three at once, their heads fell to the ground and their bodies and heads turned to dust. Marron kept firing the balls of water at them, turning them to dust. Many were hit and killed by Videl's arrows. Bra and Amber didn't do it any differently either. After a short time the fight was over. The survivors fled. Only the Five Morning Star Warriors remained. They continued on their way and came to a large gate. Amber braced against it and it opened. A garden appeared before them. Everything was bathed in a bluish light. Huge trees and lianas hung from them. The trees were in full bloom. A white paved path led away from the gate. Lilies and other beautiful flowers grew by the wayside. The grass was a strong green, despite the bluish light. The five walked slowly along the path. They looked around suspiciously. Little gnomes hovered around them. It shone brightly in a faint yellowish tone. Bra and
