Fanfic: Amber(Part5)
Pan eyed her curiously. One sat on Pan's shoulder. "I think it likes me!" laughed Pan. One sat on Bra's shoulder too. Laughing, the two ran along the path for a while, the gnomes floated with them.The other three followed them. They got deeper and deeper into the garden. This became more and more beautiful and species-rich. "If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it! We are in the Garden of Eden! I always thought it was just a legend! But I was mistaken!" Amber whispered in awe. Videl and Marron nodded in agreement. "I'm getting hungry!" said Marron and looked around for something to eat. As if in response, fruits appeared on the trees. "Crazy! You say something, and the garden fulfills your wish, at least when it comes to food!" Marron grinned and picked an apple-like fruit. Videl, who was also hungry, picked a fruit from another tree. Amber shrugged. It couldn't hurt if they ate something, and certainly not if these things tasted as delicious as these. Pan and Bra had meanwhile also fetched something to eat.They had set out on the road and ate the fruit. Videl, Marron and Amber turned the corner and saw the two of them sitting peacefully eating. When they saw the three they got up. "Where did these gnomes go?" Amber asked. "Oh, they left when we got something to eat!" grinned Bra. Amber smiled, maybe it wasn't as dangerous in this castle as she had thought at the beginning. They strolled on along the path, which was accompanied by a small brook that shimmered silver. After a long walk they came to an avenue. It was lined with tall trees, the tops of which spanned a roof over the path. There was another door at the end of the avenue. They walked slowly towards the door. You had almost reached it when suddenly ......
"Ooooh, my head! It hurts! I think there was something in the food!" Trunks groaned and slowly straightened up. He looked around in amazement. He was no longer under the glass dome.Goten lay on a cot and stared at the ceiling. "What are you thinking about?" Trunks asked his buddy. "To Amber! I miss her!" said Goten without taking his eyes off the ceiling. "And who are you thinking of?" Goten asked back. "To Marron! What is she doing right now?" asked Trunks. "Maybe you have already noticed that we are gone! If not, then we can just wait! Or do you have an idea how we can get out of here?" said Goten. "No, not really! Even if we got out of this cell, we would never make it to the castle gate, let alone home!" said Trunks and lay down on the other bunk on the opposite wall. He closed his eyes because the headache is still bothering him. Goten was still lying there, staring at the ceiling. He thought of Amber and the day he first saw her. She was just great at math. And the teacher looked really stupid. But now he didn't know where she was and he missed her incredibly.Her laughter, her eyes, everything was simply missing. A key cracked in the lock and the door opened.
Long lianas shot out of the tree trunks. They grabbed Bra and lifted her off the path. Bra screamed, but it was too late. It was floating high above the ground. "Bra!" Pan shouted and wanted to rush to her friend's aid. But she too was grabbed by lianas and lifted into the air. The lianas tightened around the girls' two weak bodies. Bra passed out. Pan wriggled and screamed. Videl had to watch helplessly as her daughter floated higher towards the top of the trees. "Pan, no!" she wanted to go after, but was held back by Amber and Marron. They pulled her away from the avenue, but the whole garden seemed to have changed. It seemed to be alive, and lianas grabbed at them from everywhere, or cracked fruits were hurled at them. The crackling fruits hit the ground and popped (how logical!), Then a foul-smelling mist spread."We have to fight back! Come on, don't sit around like that!" shouted Amber, launching a firestorm. This drove the plants back or burned them. Marron and Videl were also standing next to her and defending themselves. Slowly the plants let go of them and moved further away from the path. They ran back to the avenue and saw two bundles tied up against the door. One had sun-yellow hair, the other green hair. The lianas still beat and grabbed them. But Amber swung her sword and a few fell to the ground. But only to immediately re-grow and attack again. "We have to do it differently! On three we run, me in front! I'm trying to chop off as many as possible!" said Amber. She counted to three and then they ran. She cut lianas and soon the avenue was covered with lianas. They reached the door. Videl rushed to Bra and Pan and began to cut the lianas with an arrow. Marron and Amber defended them."Videl, hurry up, there are more and more! Soon we won't have a chance against them!" Marron exclaimed, fending off a vine that snapped cheekily at her. "Done! Pan help me free Bra!" said Videl, and tampered with Bras' shackles. Shortly afterwards they did it. "Try to open the door for you!" Amber said as she cut another vine. Bra hurried to help them with her morning stars. Pan and Videl pushed against the door with all their might, but it didn't move. "We won't get the door open!" Pan called to the others. "Then try an attack. Maybe you can destroy it!" advised them Bra. "Okay! SUN FLASH!" shouted Pan. The door cracked, but held out. Videl had also sent off a hurricane. The door slammed again. Now Videl and Pan launched an attack together. The door groaned and broke away outward. "Let's get out of here! Before they catch us again!" shouted Marron and ran outside.She didn't stop until she was twenty yards from the door. After a short time they also reached Amber, Bra, Pan and Videl. "Phew, that was something! We almost all would have taken it!" Videl groaned and dropped to his knees. Amber also had to sit down. "Where are we actually now?" Bra asked into the silence. Everyone looked around. They were in a large room, they couldn't see any walls. And nothing else could be seen either. The door to the Eden garden was gone. "This is Mara's game! She plays with us! We are her puppets, she has just tested her defense system on us!" Amber gasped, still exhausted from the fight. Pan held up her hand. "Then we want to conjure up some light in the darkness. She mumbled something and a yellow light appeared in her hand that illuminated the surroundings. Bra also lit a green light in her hand. Amber and Videl rose slowly again. Marron was still kneeling always.She had a large wound on her right upper arm that was bleeding. She held her left hand over it. But the warm blood was still seeping through. Amber looked at her friend. "Marron! What is it?" she asked horrified. "My arm! You got me!" she wailed. "Wait, I'll help you!" Amber said and knelt down next to her. She tore off some fabric from Marron's dress and wrapped it around her arm. "Bra, come here, I need some of your skirt!" she said to Bra. Bra came to Amber. Amer tore a couple of blades of grass from her skirt and used them to tie the scrap of cloth. When she finished, she looked at Marron and helped her up. "Thanks!" said Marron and gave a pained smile. Amber looked down at herself. Her top was torn, the left sleeve was missing. The label on the right was scratched and pieces were broken off. Marron didn't look any better either. Her ribbons on her arms were no longer all tied, but were hanging down here and there. Her dress was torn, a strap was torn and drooping.Something was torn out on the stomach. Bra's skirt was wrinkled, and her top was scratched and torn. Pan didn't look a bit better either. Videl's pants and top also had holes and long tears. They went on slowly. Suddenly it was bright as day in the hall. They put their hands over their eyes. When they got used to the light they saw ...........
Well, what do the five see now? Would you like to know? Let's see how it goes on! I hope you enjoyed this part, it is not quite as good as the last ones, but if I had left all that out, it would not fit together properly afterwards!
@pekidbz: I believe you have not read my FF beforehand, I was just amazed that there were so many parallel passages, like the bag, the falling, etc. I didn’t mean my comment angry either! Really! Thank you for your praise about my FFs, I was happy about it!
