Hello everybody ! Wasn't there a little longer. I'm sorry, but go on now. So, this part is pretty down to business and the end is quietly prepared. Please read them)
--- Part 17 ---
“Hey, Vegeta!” She turned on the light, but Vegeta wasn't in the gravity room. Bulma thought first. Then she saw his black hair sticking out from behind a ledge in the wall. “Vegeta!” She came closer, but he didn't move. Only when she was standing next to him did he grumble: “What's the matter again?” He was sitting there with knees drawn up and must have been staring at the wall. Bulma swallowed her comment and clasped their hands. "I may have an idea as to your problem!"Vegeta cocked his head." Forget it! "He said." I've had enough of good ideas! "Bulma took a deep breath inside." It's about the problem of time travel that you are describing. That only you can remember! "She knelt down and waited to see if Vegeta would react angrily, but he just kept looking at her." Well, if you are the only one who realizes that a day repeats itself over and over again, it doesn't mean that everyone else has it Take part in a journey through time. Not even the earth or the galaxy. "Vegeta had raised his eyebrows, but never said nothing." It's about the fact that time is not linear! "Continued Bulma a little uncertainly." It goes by at different speeds. And if you experience anew every day, only you will experience it again and again. The other people experience a different process in which a new day would dawn tomorrow! You are the only one affected because only you notice it! "Bulma had clenched her hands while she was talking.Vegeta still didn't move a muscle. "And it follows that whatever you do, it will be void because you are stuck in a loop. Only when you can determine the origin of the loop can you possibly find a way out." Bulma was relieved. She had expected Vegeta to scold and run away. You somehow found the Saiyajin's passive demeanor uncanny. Then she saw his pupils enlarge. Vegeta stood up in a flash, as if he had only knelt briefly. Bulma admired his maneuverability a little. " I have understood !" said Vegeta slowly. Bulma stared at him. "Go now! I have to be alone!" Bulma said nothing. She was glad he wasn't making a scene. She had enjoyed showing Vegeta her knowledge and impressing him. She turned and headed for the exit, hoping he would say something more. "Bulma! You never know!" she scolded herself.Suddenly she felt a gust of wind as soon as she had touched the door. Startled, Bulma turned around - and stared at Vegeta, who was not half a meter in front of her. He frowned at her. Then he raised a hand and touched her forehead. Bulma was too startled to react. Vegeta's fingers ran down her forehead and down her nose. Then he withdrew his hand. Then Vegeta said softly: "You are very intelligent! Thank you!" And so quickly that Bulma guessed it more than actually saw it, Vegeta disappeared through the door.
An hour later. Bulma was sitting on her couch with her book in hand again. But she was currently unable to read. She stared at the leaves, thinking all the time about Vegeta and what he had done. Apart from the unusual closeness to him, his gentleness irritated her very much in retrospect. "How did he do that? And why did he touch me ..." She ran her left hand over her forehead."He showed me his other self ... the gentle one." Bulma started again on her book. "But what is he up to? You could literally see his resolve!" She sighed and put the book to one side. "Damn Vegeta, I just can't figure you out!"
The one she couldn't figure out stood on his balcony with his arms folded and looked up at the stars. He paused there like a statue, indulging in his thoughts. Vegeta wasn't sure if his idea would work, but he had to try. “I'm getting tired of not being able to do anything. But not this time!” He would stay up all night and thus prevent the next morning from being another. At least he would then notice the change and maybe be able to stop it. "And Bulma ..." He kept thinking about her. He was strangely drawn to her, and he didn't understand that. So far he hadn't cared about women and was only interested in Bulma because of her argumentative nature. But now ... he had barely suppressed the urge to kiss her earlier. Vegeta shuddered at himself. "Now I'm leaving here just like Kakarott! A shame!" But his own words did not convince him. Vegeta was sure that Bulma was interested in him too, because she was the only person who had really shown interest in him and had tried to see through his brittle facade. He felt kind of weird about it. But he liked enjoying a beautiful thought while standing out here that had nothing to do with his dark past. Apparently his pride had given way for now. Vegeta smiled imperceptibly.
Behind him the door opened very slowly and Bulma peeked in. As she expected, Vegeta was standing on the balcony and didn't move. “How can he stand it!” Bulma was already cold and wrapped her arms around her body. She crept closer and sat on the edge of the bed. Then she looked at Vegeta from behind. But suddenly he turned his head and looked directly at her! Bulma was startled and a little scared. Vegeta looked into her eyes and his face got a funny look. Bulma hadn't never seen him at Vegeta's. It was longing. "I ... I just wanted ..." she began but Vegeta tilts his head a little and she falls silent. " Not !" he whispered. "Don't lie! But I can't! Not now!" Then he turned his head back and continued to look at the stars.
