Chapter 2: Arrival of Darkness




So after Karatin and the Z-Fighters had joined forces, a violent wind swept across the desert and the sky darkened in a split second. "W ... w ... what is that?" Yamcha stuttered. "Daark is coming!" Karatin replied coldly. As soon as he had said this, several red lightning bolts flashed through the air, at the point where they met a blood-red energy ball formed that grew bigger and bigger. When it had reached a diameter of about two and a half meters, the lightning stopped and the energy ball began to pulsate, it lit up again and again. The lighting up followed in an ever faster rhythm and at some point the ball glowed constantly. Shortly after the pulsation stopped, a black figure stepped out of the energy, you couldn't see what it looked like. He made his way to the Z-fighters and red lightning flashed around his body, the warriors could always briefly recognize something of him.When he stood in front of them he stared at Karatin and spoke in an ice-cold tone: "At last we'll see you again, Prince. You withdrew before the fight with my master was over." "What are you doing here Dorlak?" Karatin asked dark figure. "Daark sent me to kill you and I will do that now," replied the warrior and while he was speaking a red ball of energy formed in his hand, which he threw Karatin directly onto his chest. Due to the force of the attack, it flew several meters through the air and landed behind the other Z-fighters. "What is that supposed to mean? If your master wants to see Karatin dead, he should kindly show up here himself!", Son-Goku threw sarcastically at the unknown warrior and then took up a fighting stance. The other Z-fighters did the same. Dorlak again forms a ball of energy, he hurled the ball into Son-Goku's belly and it flew about two hundred meters through the air into the next mountain.A large cloud of dust formed at the point where Goku hit the mountain. Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan and Goths then turned into Super Saiya Jins and prepared for the fight. All Z-fighters attacked Dorlak at the same time, but Dorlak was able to fend off all blows with ease. Yamcha and Chao-zu went to the ground after the first hit, Tenshinhan attacked even more doggedly, but that didn't help either, he was also sent to the ground with one blow. Kuririn meanwhile formed an energy discus which he fired at Dorlak, the others backed away from Dorlak at the last moment so as not to be hit themselves. Dorlak did nothing to stop the energy attack and the discus hit him right in the stomach. Everyone thought that he was now defeated, but Dorlak was still standing, he sent Kuririn to the ground with a weak energy beam, Piccolo tried almost simultaneously with a devil's spiral which hit Dorlak exactly on the head, but had no effect.Dorlak moved up to Piccolo with lightning speed and rammed his fist into his stomach, causing him to slump. Meanwhile, C18 hovered over Dorlak and fired a beam of energy at him, but that had no effect on him either. Dorlak fired a thin beam at 18, which could no longer evade him and was pierced. They fell to the ground and landed in a large cloud of dust. So now there were only Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan and Goten left, all four powered themselves up to the double Super Saiya Jin and attacked Dorlak again, but Dorlak was still superior to them. Son-Goten went down after a few attacks, Trunks followed him shortly afterwards, Vegeta and Son-Gohan mobilized their last strength and attacked again, for a moment it almost looked as if they had a chance against Dorlak, but Dorlak prepared another Attack before, this hit Gohan hard in the stomach and oh he went down. Vegeta gave everything and attacked Dorlak with a final flash, a huge energy beam swept over the desert.Vegeta had not expected to find anything from Dorlak, but Dorlak was still standing there unimpressed. Vegeta attacked him again, but when he had just covered half the way he was hit by an energy ball and fell to the ground. After all fighters were defeated, Dorlak went to Karatin to make sure he was dead. When he was two steps away from him, Karatin straightened up. "I would have been surprised if you gave up after this attack," said Dorlak again in that ice-cold tone. "You will not kill me Dorlak", with these words Karatin turned into a Mega-Sakue-Han and attacked Dorlak. However, the latter was able to block all of his attacks and repeatedly landed hard hits in Karatin's stomach. At some point Karatin saw no other way to defeat Dorlak than to transform even further. He concentrated all his energy and turned into a Giga-Sakur-Han. Again he attacked Dorlak, the two were now equal opponents, each parried the blows of the other and neither could score a hit.Dorlak finally concentrated all his energy in his fist and pierced Karatin's body, this much in great pain to the ground, and returned to normal. Dorlak hovered over Karatin and fired several powerful balls of energy at him. When he was sure that Karatin was dead, he flew in the direction of the energy ball from which he had come. It disappeared as quickly as it had come and the energy ball dissolved, after which the sky became clear again.




Son-Goku was the first to regain consciousness and fly back to their battlefield. When he got there he saw what had happened, all his friends were lying on the ground. Suddenly he noticed movement and he saw Vegeta slowly get up again. "What was going on here?" Asked Goku. "What does it look like, the guy got us down," Vegeta replied in his usual gruff tone. Son-Goku ran to his sons and oh Vegeta was looking for Trunks, who had meanwhile got down on his knees.Son-Goku helped Son-Gohan get up and they went to Son-Goten, who also came to shortly afterwards and tried to get up, but he cracked again and sank to his knees. Son-Gohan helped him and his younger brother supported him off on his shoulder. Son-Goku now went to the others who were a few meters further, when he got there, Piccolo was trying to get up, which he more or less succeeded, he was a little shaky but he could hold himself up. Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chao-zu and Kuririn, on the other hand, were still unconscious, and nothing of 18 could be seen. When Son-Goku was kneeling next to Kuririn, he felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned his head and saw that it was C18. "We thought he would have killed you because we couldn't see you anywhere," said Goku to her. "I'm fine, I hit the ground a little too hard, you couldn't see me because of the dust that lay on me." "Understand and don't worry, Kuririn is alive, we will kill him and the others."C18 picked up Kuririn and flew straight off towards God's palace, in the meantime Vegeta and Trunks had also come back to the group."
