Ryu's curiosity was so great that he finally wanted to see what Dr. Gero was researching. Akari was only dragged along with a slight reluctance, but she too was curious. They peered at the window where the light was shining and huddled very quietly along the wall of the house. Akari's stomach tingled with excitement.“We have to climb over the gate, come on!” Ryu whispered and led the way. He was on the other side in no time and waited for his sister, who was already tampering with the gate and landed on the grass with a low leap. "This area is forbidden for everyone, Ryu!", She warned. "Exactly!", He said and grinned mischievously. "We're here! Come here very quietly and take a look at this!" He whispered so quietly that Akari could just barely understand it. She looked through the window and she couldn't breathe: Dr. Gero was holding a map in his hand and was standing next to a kind of table where a human body lay. He lacked arms and legs. "Hey ... Ryu, what is that? Look, your eyes are moving! Is he dead?" The person on the tray fixed his gaze on Akari. Ryu was silent. Dr. Gero took an artificial arm and held it on the shoulder of the imperfect body. "The ... the guy builds people! No, robots!", Akari whispered, half excited, half disgusted. "Crazy!", Ryu whispered. "I beg your pardon?That's disgusting! Look at this! "-"Yes, yes, I know! But the man is still brilliant! So in terms of intelligence, do you see what I mean? "Akari nodded silently and then said," Let's get out of here! "But Ryu stared spellbound at the window and finally got up. Akari walked quickly towards the gate and Ryu followed her. I'm going to sleep now. Good night! ", she said and went into her room. She lay awake for quite a while and couldn't sleep. The images of the robot kept going through her head. She saw his empty gaze in front of her eyes and shook her head. She wanted to she simply forgot, but couldn't .. After an hour, it was around two o'clock, she finally fell asleep.




The next morning her alarm clock rang. Akari yawned and was glad she was awake. She had had a terrible nightmare. She left her bedroom and checked to see if her brother was awake. His door was wide open. "Good morning, Ryu!", Akari said and entered the room. But Ryu wasn't there. His room was untidy and desolate. Suddenly a thought occurred to Akari: Dr. Gero! He must have seen her and has now kidnapped Ryu! "Ryu!", She shouted, "Ryu! Where are you?"No answer." Oh no, please don't ...! ", she moaned and looked around the whole apartment. Not a trace, nothing. Akari immediately ran into her room and dialed Ryu's cell phone number. His cell phone rang in his room." He never leaves the house without a cell phone! "She changed quickly and left the house. She looked at the neighboring house and hoped that her suspicions would not be confirmed. She gathered all her courage and crept to the gate." Are you looking for something? ", said a voice behind her. Akari turned around and looked into the cold eyes of Dr. Gero." Your brother visited me! Come on in! Through the front door, little one! "Akari followed him in silence and hoping that Ryu is okay. She looked around the apartment uneasily." Can I offer you something to drink? "-" No, thank you. "Dr. Gero led her into the cellar." Your brother is waiting for you! "he said with an insidious tone in his voice. Akari felt the fear in her chest pounding in her heart. When Dr. Gero opened the door, Akari let out a scream.Ryu was lying lifeless on the table where the scary robot was lying yesterday. "RYU !!", Akari screamed in panic and saw Dr. Gero on. He already held a pistol in her stomach and said: "Sorry, little one. But sniffing is not!" Then he pulled the trigger. Ryu later became the seventeenth cyborg of the heartless Dr. Gero and Akari's new identity was Cyborg eighteen, in short: C18. Dr. Gero had made the two of them into the cyborgs he had always wanted to create. With her help, he wanted to finally achieve world domination. He gave them special skills and turned them into killing machines. He had erased C18s and C17s memories.
