Goten stood a bit away from Rika behind a large rock and watched her. He had erased his aura so she wouldn't notice him. 'Now I've lost her forever! Why? I want her back! I do need it! How can she do that to me? She knows that I can't live without her anymore! What should I do now?' he thought to himself. The moment she jumped into the wormhole, he felt his heart break into a thousand and a thousand pieces. He would never be the same again. He would never laugh again like we did when she came to him.He would never love a girl like her again. And he would never see her again. And why? Because of a stupid argument based only on misunderstandings! He turned away from the wormhole. Shortly afterwards it closed again. He flew away. He didn't know where he was going. But he wanted to get away from this place that was causing him so much grief. He felt the pain in his heart but tried to ignore it. He would try to forget her. Goten flew to the CC. He stopped briefly in front of the door, but then rang the doorbell. Bulma opened the door for him. "Hello Son-Goths! If you want to go to Trunks or Rika, neither of them is there!" said Bulma. "I didn't want to go to the two of them either, but to you! Do you still have the space capsule that my father was on the way with after the name thing?" he asked Bulma. "Yes, it should be in the workshop somewhere! What do you need it for?" Bulma asked him. "I have to get away from here! I need some rest now for the time being!" said Goten."Okay, I'll get you a minute! Wait here!" said Bulma and hurried away. Goten leaned against the wall. He looked into the night. He would get out of here. For how long he didn't know, but he had to get out of here. Bulma came back and handed him a small capsule. "Thank you! Tell Trunks that we will see each other again sometime!" he said and wanted to fly off. "Son-Goths !!!!! Wait !!!!! I still have something for you !!!!" shouted Bra and came running down the hall. She stopped panting in front of him and Bulma. She had an envelope in her hand. She handed it to Goten. Goten looked at her inquiringly. "It's from Rika! I found it in your room!" said the little one. Goten looked at the envelope. His name was written in black. And it was Rika's handwriting. There was also something else in the letter than just a sheet of paper, but he couldn't exactly say what. He decided to open it in the space capsule. He nodded his thanks to Bra and flew away. Bra and Bulma watched him go. "Mom! Where is Rika?Bra asked and pulled on Bulma's sleeve. Bulma shrugged her shoulders, took Bra's hand and went back to the CC with her.




Rika had meanwhile arrived on her earth. Everything was as she had seen it the last time. It was spring, the flowers were in bloom, the sun was shining. She stood on the skyscraper and watched the sun go down in the west. She flew to her old apartment. She had asked Chiaki to stay where she left the apartment. She landed on the roof and went through the door into the stairwell. She slowly went down the stairs. Walked to the door, bent down and picked up the shoe scraper. The key to her apartment was still where she'd put it. She took in hand. Looked at it and put it in the lock. Turned it around twice. The door opened. She entered. Her apartment was dark, the shutters were down. She put her bag and backpack next to the dresser in the hallway.She stepped into the living room. Looked around. Their plants had been watered. Chiaki had taken care of her. She went to the windows and raised the shutters. The last rays of the sun hit her room. She opened the balcony door and then dropped onto the couch. She closed her eyes. However, opened it again immediately. Someone had stepped into her apartment. She hadn't closed the door behind her. All of her senses were instantly programmed to be alert. She got up and crept along the wall to the hall. There was someone in the doorway she knew only too well. "Hello Rika! How are you? What are you doing here?" asked Chiaki. "I need a break and I wanted to see you and Fynn again! Where's Sirga?" answered Rika and stepped away from the wall. Chiaki looked sad. "She left us! She gave Fynn the rosary back and disappeared! She didn't even leave a letter!" said Chiaki and Rika felt the sadness in his voice.She went up to him and hugged him. "Where are Fynn and Axes?" Rika asked him to distract him. "You flew to the sea! Wanted to do something!" said Chiaki and let go of her again. "Fynn wanted to do something with Axes? I thought she couldn't stand him ?! Is the world upside down here or what?" Rika asked and looked at Chiaki in amazement. Chiaki just shrugged. He and Rika sat on the couch. "Why did Sirga leave? I mean, did she have a reason?" asked Rika. "She said she can't go on living like this! It doesn't matter whether stealing the paintings and destroying the demons is for a good cause or not! Her conscience won't allow it!" Chiaki explained and looked sadly out of the window. Two small spheres of light floated up and came into the room through the window. It was Fynn and Axes. "Rika!" Fynn yelled, hugging her as best she could get. (she hangs on Rika's cheek with outstretched arms!) Rika raised her hand and Fynn sat down on it.Rika smiled at the little helper. "I missed you Rika! I missed you so much in the six months that you were gone!" said Fynn. Axes agreed with a nod. "I missed you too! But I won't stay here long, I'll make a big trip! I'll visit the Sliders, and Little-Rika and Takato and Henry! Plus a few other friends on the parallel worlds too!" said Rika. Fynn looked at her with big sad eyes. "Why do you want to do that?" she asked Rika. "I want to get stronger and learn new things! If you want, I'll take you with me!" suggested Rika. "What about Sindbad and me?" asked Axes, horrified, who feared Fynn might leave him. "If you want you can come too! It won't be a picnic! I can tell you that now!" said Rika. "What is Chiaki, are you staying here and moping about Sirga or are you coming with us?" asked Axes. "What? Do you mean you are going too?" asked Chiaki. "Yeah!Because of my beloved Fynn! "Grinned Axes and blushed a bit. For this he got a headbutt from Fynn, which let him fall on the table." Hey what's that supposed to mean? What have I done wrong again? "Asked Axes, rubbing the spot where Fynn had met him. Rika and Chiaki laughed and Fynn pouted." Never call me your Fynn again! I'm not your Fynn! "She said angrily." Huhuhu! Why did you have to show up again, Rika? Since she saw you, she's been just the same again! Totally mean and hypothermic to me !! Why? Axes sniffed theatrically. Rika had to laugh even louder. It just looked too funny. Axes was sitting on the table, had his arms crossed in front of his face and every now and then let out a theatrical sob. Rika stretched out his arm took Axes in hand. She patted his little head to comfort him. After a while, Axes stopped crying. "I like you better that way, besides, I'm not staying here forever!You'll be rid of me in a year! That's how long Chiaki, Fynn and you travel with me through the different worlds! Said Rika. Axes grinned. And Fynn didn't seem to have meant it either. She was standing next to Axes on Rika's hand and had her hand on his shoulder. "When do we go?" Asked Chiaki. "I think so right away? Or do you mind? "Asked Rika and got up from the sofa." I still have something for you! Your rosary and your com! "Said Fynn and disappeared into an adjoining room. She came back with the com and the rosary. She handed it to Rika." Thank you Fynn! I think I can use it! "Said Rika and fastened the com next to her DV. She wanted to stow the rosary in her backpack." Don't you want to transform yourself? "Asked Chiaki." Why? "Asked Rika back." Because I would like to see the real Jeanne again! "said Chiaki." Okay! Fynn, give me the strength and let Jeanne D'Arc answer me! "She said. Shortly afterwards she stood as Jeanne in front of the others.Chiaki, too, had turned into Sindbad. "Let's go?" asked Chiaki. "Good! Follow me, we have to get to a nearby skyscraper!" said Rika and jumped out the window. Chiaki, Axes, and Fynn followed. Arrived at the skyscraper, Rika changed the frequency of her DV and opened the door to the world of sliders. They jumped into the wormhole. Their journey through the different parallel worlds had begun.




Goten stood in front of the space capsule. Rika's letter in hand. He opened it and took out the letter. He read it through.


'I'm sorry I just disappeared like that! But I couldn't help it! I know I hurt you terribly by doing this, but I think it's better that way. At some point we will surely meet again. Whether as friends or lovers is not yet certain. I'm also sorry for what I threw at you and for sweeping our picture off the table! But I was terribly angry. I don't know why myself!I have the ring that I received from you and my chain in the envelope, I am giving them to you and ask you to keep the ring for me. In love your Rika

She cried when she wrote this letter. The ink was smeared in places. He turned the envelope upside down and the ring and chain fell out. He caught both and put it in a small bag that he always wore under his tracksuit. Then he got into his capsule and flew away. He would go on a long journey indefinitely. He didn't know yet whether he would return. He only knew one thing, if he stayed here, sooner or later he would go insane. Already because of Trunks and Marron, the happy couple. He looked out the capsule window one last time. Saw how the earth got smaller and smaller and
