Cauli, queen of the planet Vegeta-sei was just pregnant and her labor was getting stronger and more intense.


"Hold my hand, honey," she tried to say with an effort.


"Ahhhhhhhhhh!", She screamed, because the contractions suddenly became so strong that she could no longer suppress the pain.


"I'm with you.", Bardock, King of Vegeta-sei and her husband reassured her by squeezing her hand as hard as he could.


"You have to be strong now. You are almost there." Bardock tried to encourage her.


But he too was on the verge of exhaustion, but tried to pull himself together and continued to talk to Cauli in a calm tone that he only used with her.


Then he felt an AI.


"It's coming; it's coming!" he suddenly started screaming and you could clearly see the joy on his face.


Bardock pushed the midwives aside, because he wanted to be the first to receive the little Saiyajin in his new world.It was a boy and Bardock asked his wife what his name should be.


"How do you like Kakarott?" she asked, unable to suppress a groan.


But she was glad she got through it. Because the first birth is always the most difficult and Cauli was still young.


Bardock stood in front of her and very carefully collected his AI and directed it into a finger to cut the umbilical cord.


There was a little fear on Cauli's face, but she had so much faith in her husband that that little fear immediately disappeared.


He felt her fear and said to her calmly:


"Don't worry. Nothing will happen to you."


One of the midwives then told Cauli that she had to press now.


She was drenched in sweat from the pain of labor and only brought in


"Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!" out.


When the little Saiyajin was finally outside, Bardock cut the umbilical cord with his AI beam and gave Kakarott to his wife, who was exhausted but happy.

"You survived it." he said happily.


Cauli just nodded, because she no longer had the strength to utter a reasonable word. Then he carefully took the little one from her again. Bardock took the little bundle of joy and went with him to the wash basin to clean it. After cleaning it, he held it up in his arms and examined it closely. Like all Saiyajins, he had a monkey tail and black eyes and hair. Bardock looked deep into his eyes; and suddenly he knew that his son would become a great fighter. But the little Saiyan had completely different thoughts at the moment; he was very hungry, like all Saiyajins, and screamed at the top of his throat. Bardock smiled at this and immediately ordered the midwives to bring a "small" meal for the Plärrgeist. Meanwhile he tried to calm Kakarotto by rocking him back and forth in his arms.


"It's okay. You'll get something to eat soon; just be patient." he said in a sweet voice to the little one, who was instantly calm, as if he had understood every word his papa had said.

The midwives came in with delicious food.


"Put it there on the table. You can go now, I'll be fine on my own." he said, still holding Kakarott in his arms while he said that.


There were various tablets on the table. One smells deliciously of rice and tofu. Bardock was satisfied with that and went with the little Saiyajin to a chair by the table and sat down.


"So now open your mouth so dad can give you something to eat." he said in a funny tone.


Kakarott opened his little mouth as if on command and Bardock took the lid off a tray and brought it a little closer to him. Then he took the spoon and poured some of the rice onto him.


"So now the plane comes ... growl, growl." and moved the spoon back and forth in front of his mouth and then placed it well in Kakarott's mouth.


This went on until all the trays were empty, the little Saiyajin was fed up and Bardock was exhausted.

Then he went to Cauli's bed and laid him carefully next to her so as not to wake her.


He sat on the chair to wait for his wife to wake up, but then fell into a deep sleep.


He dreamed how Kakarott would take his throne as a prince and rule Vegeta-sei, his beautiful planet, as a brave and wise warrior.


Cauli had woken up in the meantime and whispered to Bardock:


"Sweetheart, are you awake?"


Suddenly he was awake and smiled at his wife with sleepy eyes.


"Yes, I'm awake. Just dozed off a little."


But she knew he had slept soundly, but she didn't let it show.


"He deserves a break once in a while." thought Cauli to herself.


"Did he eat well?" she asked after a short pause in silence.


But she didn't need to ask the question when she saw the many empty trays on the table. Suddenly she suddenly had to laugh out loud.Bardock wondered about her and asked her secretly what could have made her laugh. As if Cauli could read his mind, she said:


"He eats almost as much as you do." and then just grinned mischievously at her husband.


"You seem to be feeling a lot better again." he said with a little bit of sarcasm.


They both had to laugh. The midwives were only surprised when they heard this loud laugh from the hospital room and immediately rushed over, thinking something terrible had happened. When Cauli, holding the little Saiyajin in their arms, and Bardock saw the midwives with their horrified faces, they only began to laugh more.


Suddenly the head nurse said sternly:


"You have to go now. Your wife needs rest now."


Bardock took Kakarott and went with him out of the sickroom.


"You can't even have a little fun here." he said to the little one and suddenly Kakarott began to laugh and kick like crazy.

Bardock, who couldn't even restrain him, put him in the stroller, which he had already bought as a precaution.


"So, you're better off here than in my arms, where you could fall from all the romping around." he said with a smile.


But suddenly his expression darkened again, because he knew that they wouldn't have their son for long.


Bardock had had visions and dreams for some time concerning Kakarott, the future prince. But he didn't want to tell Cauli so as not to worry her unnecessarily.


He sat down in the waiting room and fell asleep again with these visions.


He saw in his dreams that Vegeta-sei is being destroyed by strangers. Suddenly he recognized a face of their future enemies. Bardock was frightened. The leader was ... he couldn't believe it ... his own brother. But then he saw a familiar face. It was Kakarott, but as a grown Saiyan, who asked his uncle to fight.

Bardock woke up and now he knew what to do.
