Chapter: Jean (2)

hey

that doesn't sound like you like the FF, because I didn't get any comments. But it goes even further, I mean, that's just a transition to my new FF. You will already notice. Well, now we go on and tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we start with my new FF.

"You, mom?" Trunks asked after he was finally full and pushed the ten thousand plates away from him. "What is Trunks?" Asked Bulma and looked at him astonished. He looked depressed like never before. At first she thought Trunks was sick, but when she listened to Trunks, she shook her head. "Trunks, people wouldn't believe us if I put the capsules on the market. You have to solve your problem differently and above all yourself.", Bulma said and turned back to washing up. The cleaning lady was sick today and now Bulma had to stand in the kitchen, make tons of ready-made food for Trunks and Vegeta (imagine, Bulma cooks it herself) and now she also had to do the dishes because her dishwasher was broken."But mom, there is no other way to solve the problem. We have already tried everything! Jean's father does not want to see that we love each other, it would only help if he knew that we are rich.", Trunks replied and looked sad in the night black sky. A cloud moved in front of the moon and for a moment the area was no longer illuminated. Trunks was sadly silent. He didn't want to hide from Jean's father any longer. He wanted to be with her forever! He also didn't want to wait until Jean was finally of legal age and could do what she wanted. That was taking too long for him. And Trunks wasn't very sure whether she would then be allowed to do what she wanted. Her father was very strict about this. Tired and still sad, he continued to look out the window and didn't even hear his father calling him to training, he was so absorbed in his thoughts.

All hell broke loose with Jean. When she rang the doorbell at home, her father was angry at first that he had to go to the door and thus missed five minutes of the soccer game. But when he saw Jean in front of the door, it was all over. "You were probably back with this worthless boy! I forbade you to go to him! And how did you get out of the room? Are you crazy? You could have died and all because of a guy who ran around you yelled her father. He was just opening his mouth again to continue scolding, when Jean's collar burst. "Tell me, who do you think you are? I know Trunks damn well, you just don't know him! And you don't try too hard to get to know him!", She yelled back and her father blushed. "I'm your father, you don't have to talk to me like that!" He replied and slapped Jean in the face. Jean got tears in his eyes and was about to run up the stairs to her room and really cry when she heard a harsh voice: "Hands up, this is a robbery." During their argument, Jean and her father had not noticed that a thief, dressed completely in black, had slipped through the open door and had already let go of some objects.Jean picked up the phone with presence of mind, as if in a trance she dialed the number for the police, ignoring the gun that the intruder was pointing in her direction and she also did not listen to his words about dropping the phone. A policeman answered the other line and Jean mumbled her address softly into the receiver when she heard the shot of the gun that was in the hand of the burglar. Shortly afterwards she felt a heavy sleep on her back and she passed out on the floor.

Trunks watched the news with Bra after the hard training. When he heard that there was a break-in in the street where Jean lived and that the owners of the house were in the hospital, Trunks immediately flew to the hospital. Bra told her mother what had happened and Bulma drove with Bra through the dark streets to the hospital.

Jean made opened his eyes. She looked around and found herself in bed.The room she was in was painted all white and Jean immediately recognized that she was in the hospital. Trunks was sitting next to her right and Jean was about to say something, but Trunks shook his head. "Shh," he said, putting his fingers on Jean's mouth. Immediately afterwards she fell into a coma again. The second time Jean woke up, she felt a lot better. She looked around, but Trunks was gone. Jean sat up in bed and slowly went to the window. She had a strange feeling in her stomach. She turned as the door opened and looked at Trunks. She looked at Trunks questioningly and he just nodded. A tear flashed in Jean's right eye. Slowly, very slowly, as if in slow motion, the tear ran down Jeans cheeks and spread around the mouth. Trunks walked up to Jean and took her in his arms. Jean clutched Trunks and didn't say. She didn't cry, no sobs could be heard from her. If at least she had done that! So, it was much sadder looking down at her than if she had cried and let her grief run free. But like that, it was even more terrible. For a long time, Jean lay in Trunks arms, not saying anything and doing nothing. A small sparrow flew on the windowsill, the open window and had a small worm in its beak. Soon after, a pigeon came and the two birds fought over the worm. The pigeon finally won and flew happily into the infinite blue of the sky, while the leash sparrow flew to the earth to get a new worm.

Jean was still in Trunk's arms. After an eternity, she looked him in the eye and mumbled, "Dad is dead ..."
