Fanfic: Zuflucht bei Piccolo
Chapter: Refuge at Piccolo
Wow, my first fanfic !! It took a lot of effort to get it online. I hope you like it. (For the first part I find it a little too long, please read it anyway !! * plead *)
By the way, it takes place after Boo was destroyed. And a fictional character of myself (the master thief Lee) plays the main role here. You will learn more about them in the middle of the story and in the following parts. Piccolo doesn't even appear in this part, so don't be surprised! Incidentally, I don't find the title very appropriate, but I just can't think of anything else.
By the way, in this part I stole some of "Tempting Traps" (the film with Sean Connery, you know), I hope you will forgive me * beg *. There is also a moon here, I don't know if there will be one in the DBZ world later. It doesn't really matter, but just so you know.
Deep night lay over the western capital. The full moon shone in the black sky and shone on the Capsule Corporation, which was located in the quieter part of the city and was peaceful and quiet.A few streets away, a dark shadow slipped silently across the asphalt. He moved unobtrusively towards the large, round building and did not pause until he was on the sidewalk in front of it. He swung himself skillfully over the fence and landed gently on the property. After a protective look, Lee smiled contentedly at her target. She had been waiting for this challenge for a long time. Her life as a master thief had become almost boring.
She quickly crept up to the building, lay flat against the wall, and worked her way to the back door. Once there, she turned to the door security system (I don't think they have it at all, but it doesn't matter ...). She recalled the code and ran her fingers over the control panel. The door hissed open. Lee took a deep breath. The house remained silent. She slipped through the door, closed it on the inside and looked around carefully. With the help of the night vision device, she was able to orientate herself well.Lee was in a living room-like room that was pretty well secured. She concentrated on the rehearsed movements through the light barriers and swung skillfully through the room. She landed safely on the other end and disappeared through the door. As expected, the thief was in the hallway, which wound in a large circle through the first floor. Lee had memorized the plan of the building and could tell with certainty where the Bulma Briefs secret laboratory was. As she made her way up against the wall, she suddenly heard a deep rumble from close by. She paused immediately, pressed herself against the wall, breathing quickly, and listened intently. Quieter noises followed shortly afterwards and slowly ebbed away again. They were animal sounds, she gradually realized and sighed in relief. How could she have forgotten the in-house zoo! She focused back on her work. It should only be a few meters to the video camera. In the next few steps she could see the camera emerge from behind the curve of the wall. She swung quickly to the other side of the wall and carefully approached the camera until she could shut down the video camera with a special remote control. The guard guarding this camera would not notice anything, as it displayed a still image that - like the usual recordings - did not change. Lee continued to scurry down the hall. Finally she reached a kind of "clearing" where the stairs and the kitchen were. Here she turned into a second hallway that stretched straight to the left.
After turning the corner, the hallway ended in a dead end. Here was a secured door that led to Bulma's laboratory. Lee activated the door lock, entered a code and placed her hand, which was in a specially made glove, on the surface provided. The computer scanned Lee's glove and recognized Bulma's hand in it.The heavy door was unlocked with a click. Lee opened it carefully and stepped inside. Everything happened very quickly in the laboratory. She turned to the office setup and turned on the computer. While this was starting, she deliberately rummaged through secret documents and files that she copied with a (state-of-the-art high-tech * g *) scanner. Every now and then the computer would ask for their type. She struggled through all the passwords until Lee finally let the valuable information at her fingertips, which she quickly transferred to a data carrier and pocketed. She neatly deleted any files that could reveal her intervention. Since this was one of the central computers in the entire building, she was also able to make the door security data disappear. Then she turned off the computer and put each file back into place. After a quick check that everything was okay, Lee left the laboratory with a satisfied smile on his face.
She carefully locked the heavy laboratory door and started on her way back.
When she turned the corner to return in the straight hallway, suddenly the blazing bright light of a halogen spot shone against her. Suppressing a scream, she squeezed her aching eyes shut, reflexively held her hands in front of the night vision device, where she immediately switched it off at a switch (modern technology from DBZ * g *, don't know if it really exists) and made a jump behind them Corner where she came from.
“Damn it!” She cursed inwardly, “what is a guard doing here?” She had to act quickly before he saw her. She kicked off the wall with one foot, jumped to the ceiling and braced herself against the opposite walls with her hands and feet in order to stay close under it. Trembling, she tried to concentrate on her situation. She was still struggling with the pain in her eyes, and the darkness was still unfamiliar.Blinking desperately, she tried to optically perceive something in her surroundings. She only recognized the restless beam of light from the guard, which grazed the wall. She could only hope that he hadn't seen her and wouldn't discover her now. If so, she would have to attack him for better or worse. Without making a sound, Lee waited for her victim, who might turn the corner at any moment. However, the guard approached her very slowly. Lee's limbs were getting heavier and heavier and trembling with exhaustion. She was probably not in the right shape today, and the walls were relatively far apart, which made her practice much more difficult. Her heart raced at the realization that she couldn't hold out much longer. The beam of light that fell on the wall grew bigger and bigger, the guard shouldn't be far anymore.
"Come on, hurry up," pleaded inwardly, while individual drops of sweat were running down her forehead, which she was trying to wipe off her arm.
There! Suddenly he turned the corner. Lee winced and slipped her left hand slightly, which she could have slapped herself for. The guard seemed to have noticed it acoustically, was startled and hastily directed the beam of light onto the ceiling.
"Shit! I idiot!" Lee damned himself. For a moment, she could still see him, then the halogen spotlight slammed into her face. She immediately narrowed her eyes. Now there was no turning back. Lee had to concentrate fully on her work again. She immediately dropped onto the guard, like a spider onto the hero of certain computer games. She couldn't see anything, but she could feel the aura of the guardian, knew his exact position and was able to move through her environment in a controlled manner. Before the guard noticed anything, she landed a precise blow on his neck. He was passed out immediately. Lee landed gently next to him, opened her tormented eyes and cautiously caught him to lay him silently on the floor. She grabbed the halogen spotlight and turned it off. She exhaled in relief as the darkness spread around her again.
(Cut !! Well, first of all I want to say something about Lee. As you have noticed, she can feel auras. Because she is also a strong fighter who can control her fluid .
By the way, Lee also knows about the Z-Fighters, mainly through the television broadcast of the Cell games. It was only through her observations that she discovered and used her inner strength. However, her enthusiasm for coups and break-ins made her a thief. Even if she is Z-Fighter level in terms of fighting and could easily attack banks with force, she prefers to steal valuable antiques or secret papers in elaborate break-ins - just for fun.
Okay, hit me for that stupid explanation. I had to come up with something like this to make it all fit into my story. So, now finally further in the text)
It was around this time that someone in boxers padded down the stairs. Vegeta got hungry in the middle of the night and wanted to pay a visit to the kitchen. He had been too lazy to turn on the light and so he reached the hall step by step, holding onto the railing. Suddenly he could see a glow of light flickering around in the hallway that led to the left.
"Those damn guards," he muttered annoyed, "we don't need such crap at all. They might be annoying ..." He was looking for the door to the kitchen when suddenly the guard's light went out. He also noticed that the Guardian's aura had rapidly declined. He seemed to have passed out. Vegeta stared suspiciously into the dark hallway. "What the hell is going on?"
Lee was about to turn her night vision device back on when suddenly the overhead lights came on! Somebody just turned the light switch! And she knew immediately who it was. She could suddenly feel the aura of this Vegeta who was just coming on the same path as the guardian.
Lee looked around panicked. This brightness drove them insane!
“How did he find me ?! Damn it!” Her restless gaze fell on the unconscious guard.
"He must have somehow noticed the action with the guard! What am I doing ?!" Frantically she stormed towards the door across from the laboratory,
