Fanfic: DragonballZ vs. Diablo 1
Chapter: DragonballZ vs. Diablo 1
DragonballZ vs. Diablo
Neither Dbz nor DiabloII is mine.
This fan fiction takes place about 8 years after the Boo saga.
Son Goten (15) is the main character from Dbz.
For those who do not know Diablo II:
Diablo is a computer game from Blizzard, this is about the ...
No, I can't start like that.
Let's start from scratch.
In Diablo, the forces of heaven and order have fought against the forces of hell and chaos since time immemorial.
The forces of evil are led by a total of seven devils, the so-called evils.
The three higher are (in order of age, although if you have lived forever): Mephisto, the eldest and lord of hatred, Baal the lord of destruction, and Diablo the lord of terror.
The four lower ones are unimportant (because I forgot)
The side that wins the war, or the great conflict as it is also known, gets control of all of creation (what a surprise).
But as long as this war dragged on, neither side won.
After a very long time, the earth came into being, or rather a world in which people lived.
Problematically, it was not on one of the two sides but exactly in between.
Since that time there has been what could be called a truce between heaven and hell.
In order to win the war, the great evils devised the plan to corrupt the souls of mortals.
But the four lesser evils interpreted this as weakness, and attacked with an army.
After long struggles, they defeated the three great evils.
They banished them from hell to earth (who doesn't want that?, Out of hell).
This began a time of tremendous horror for the people, the devils and their servants (many had followed them into exile, e.g. undead, Balrogs, Stygian whores and others).
But the archangel Tyrael, who had compassion for the people, came to earth and founded the Horadrim.
This was a powerful union of magicians who defeated the three great evils one after the other and locked them in so-called selenium stones, which the Horadrim received from Tyrael.
Had they not done that, the great evils would have jumped from body to body, adapted to their ideas and continued to terrorize the earth. (i.e. they took over the bodies for themselves to live in, as they have no real bodies in our world and only exist as very powerful spirits)
In this fan fiction, Son Goten "enjoyed" intensive training from his father.
In detail he can do the Kaioken, Genkidama, also the Mafuba (from Tenshinhan), now he wants to learn the momentary teleportation (but he is so bad that he needs at least a SSJ1 minimum strength as a target point).
He can also reach the SSJ3 for a few minutes (although so much energy is released that he only has to transform himself in the middle to destroy a city).
Beginning, chapter 1
Son Goten tried to stay convulsively in the air, his concentration decreased more and more.
When he looked back over his shoulder, he could still see the quince tower that he had left 10 minutes ago.
While he continued to fly (or rather staggered through the air) he stopped the training fight with Trunks in the C.C. Looking back, at first it wasn't particularly tough, but after a while Vegeta got around to it, mumbled something about bad food, and fervently pounced on the two surprised youngsters on the third SSJ.
Both failed to switch to SSJ3, it would have been less good than it would have done.
Together, as SSJ2 Vegeta, they had served as movable sandbags with a tickling function (hit it, and the tickling rate increases).
After a few endless minutes they almost collapsed, and Vegeta had decided to train with someone else (whether you can declare your attempted murder as training?).
Like every time, they had drawn who would fly to Master Quince and get magic beans, and like every time it was said: If you come back and forth without eating a bean, I'll buy you an ice cream, otherwise you'll buy me. That should show how hard Vegeta "trained" her)
Goten had the bad luck to fly off, the bag of beans was in the special pocket of his combat suit (something like Bulma makes them).
He began to wonder if ice cream was worth that much.
The quince tower had already disappeared behind him and it was slowly but surely sagging, he could hardly hold himself back.
He tried desperately to stay awake and concentrate. (similar to how you exert yourself at school when you are almost asleep)
In the meantime, the ground had already turned into a greasy green something before his eyes.
He just decided to forego the ice cream and eat one of the beans when his last reserves of strength were running out, the ground rushed towards him, and he fell into a cushion of moss with a thud.
When Goten woke up, something struck him as weird.
His wounds were bandaged and apparently smeared with ointment, he was lying comfortably on something warm and soft.
But that wasn't what made him more nervous every second, not even the very young woman whose back he saw when he opened his eyes.
She was wearing something that was reminiscent of a cropped green top, but it had sleeves and folds that weren't too big, but you could see them straight away, and it had a neckline from the bottom and not the other way around.
In addition, she wore a short skirt and boots that were not chunky, but were made of the same material as the skirt and top and looked somehow elegant.
Her hair was very long, if she wasn't careful she could have just sat on it.
But even though it was tied all the hair seemed to move without her turning her head or the wind blowing, in addition the color didn't seem to be very clear, it shimmered almost like a rainbow.
Eventually he decided it was brown because it was mostly that color, and it was the only one that didn't seem to give him (additional) headaches.
The fact that very small ice crystals swirled around them even though the temperature was at least 40 degrees, as Goten now noticed, was not the cause of his concern.
All of this was slightly confusing, but more and more his tension tightened, he increased his energy, and was still trying to figure out what was bothering him.
Finally he noticed what it was, or rather what wasn't.
He felt no other strong aura than his, which incidentally was very weak.
None at all, it was as if Trunks, Gohan, Goku, Vegeta had all disappeared at all.
For a short time he was fascinated by it, he had always felt a stronger aura in relative proximity, although he mostly ignored it, immediately upon this realization his feelings changed to trepidation and then to fear.
What had destroyed everyone else and only spared him?
And why?
Why had he not noticed anything?
Such and similar thoughts stirred in him.
He was interrupted in pondering what he should do now when a bright voice spoke to him that clearly showed astonishment: "You are awake?"
Goten looked at the woman again, although she was more like a girl, she seemed to be seventeen at most.
She had turned and is looking at him with a questioning look with dark brown eyes.
Goten replied, surprised by his own croaking voice: "Yes, who are you?"
The girl's expression changed, she looked like she was suppressing a fit of laughter, which was only shown in a grin.
Then she replied kindly: "I am Karina, sorceress of the old Zann Esu mage clan.
But you can see that. "
At the last words her look became reproachful.
Son Goten looked at them closely, but could not see any logo.
He grinned embarrassed, scratched the back of his head (which he quickly stopped when pain shot through his arm and head) and asked: "What about?"
She looked at him for a moment as if he was making fun of her, but then she saw genuine confusion in the stranger's friendly eyes.
So she replied, "Well, the way I dress, my hair, and so ..."
She fell silent because she noticed how stupid that sounded.
Then she said: "I was always seen right away, have you never seen a sorceress?
It doesn't matter, who are you now? "
Goten thought for a moment and then said: "I'm Son Goten, and no, I've never seen a sorceress. I ..."
Suddenly he stopped and looked behind Karina, where five large tree-like creatures had approached and were only five meters away.
Goten was not afraid, but the surprise seemed written on his face, because Karina turned around, discovered the creatures and reached for a long staff that lay next to her in the grass, and only now noticed the Goten.
It was about 1.5 meters long and gnarled, but seemed to have been held so often that it was reminiscent of a cut at the stops.
At one end, the upper end, it had a gemstone, shining, shimmering in all the colors of the rainbow, incredibly large, and beautiful.
Still, he didn't look ostentatious or oversized.
When Karina took the staff, the stone lit up, and Goten felt her ki swell.
It hadn't been insignificant before, but Goten knew people who had larger ones, but the ice crystals that swirled around them also increased in number and speed.
He wondered what that was good for, there were other ways to cool off in the heat if it was absolutely necessary.
His question was answered when one of the creatures raised his arm the size of a tree trunk and hit Karina.
She didn't evade, didn't do anything, the arm seemed to penetrate the ice without any problems.
But then more and more ice collected on the arm of the tree,
