Bounty Part 1 by SSJTrunksFan
Hi! This is my first FF. I look forward to any comments. About the first part: The story doesn't really start here yet, but I just wanted to see whether my writing style is being accepted to some extent.
It's been 9 years since Boo terrorized the world's population. Trunks has a little sister: Bra. Vegeta and Bulma are still together. Gohan married Videl and the two have sweet daughter Pan. Trunks and Goten are now going to school. Both are in the same class, as Goten started school a year earlier than usual. Like Gohan, you go to the OrangeStarHighSchool in Satan City. No new opponents have appeared so far, but the members of the Z-Team train tirelessly. It could be that the peace will soon end ...
“Now it's quiet here!” Takahashi-sensei slapped his hand hard on the teacher's desk. She shook her head in rage and looked at Trunks, who was now 17, with narrowed eyes. Trunks bowed his head guiltily. That was the second time this week that his teacher had had to admonish him. Usually he was a very disciplined student, but the last few days had been anything but normal for him and Goten: After years of training, Trunks and Goten had finally managed to transform themselves into triple Supersaiyajins. Goten had just talked enthusiastically about his father's face when he found out how far Goten had come. Trunks couldn't help but laugh out loud, and so he felt the partly amused and partly angry looks of his classmates directed at him.
Goten grinned next to Trunks and looked at him with mock indignation. "So, really, Trunks, how could you!"
Trunks blushed and hissed to his best friend to be quiet, otherwise there would be a fight after school that wasn't limited to training.Immediately Goten became calm and the smile disappeared. Although Goten was very strong, the age difference between the two became clear when testing strength: Trunks had a year more experience.
"Can we continue? I think Trunks is going to pull something out of it, right?", Asked the teacher and gave Trunks another evil look. The only thing this boy was really useful in was physics, she thought sourly, and then turned to her blackboard.
"Yes, Takahashi-sensei. I won't bother you anymore," Trunks said with a downcast gaze.
"So if we assume that the statement that Mr. Satan is a hero is based on his victory over Cell a few years ago, this suggests that ..." the teacher began again with the usual chatter about the pseudo-hero Mr. Satan. Trunks dozed off easily. In the history papers you only had to write that you were enthusiastic about Mr. Satan in order to get a good grade (which in Trunks' and Goten's case were blatant lies, of course.).
Goten was playing with his pen next to him. * cracks * Of course the pen broke when Goten playfully nudged it against the table. Trunks rolled his eyes. "Stop doing the kids' stuff, after all, you'll break everything anyway," he said jokingly to Goten.
That was what Takahashi-sensei had been waiting for. "Now that's enough for me! GET OUT OF HERE AND DON'T LOOK ANYMORE IN THIS HOUR!" Goten looked worriedly at Trunks while he was packing his school bag with a rather red head. Then he threw the backpack over his shoulder and stomped out of the classroom. He closed the door behind him, being very careful not to slam the door (what would have happened then is probably clear to everyone * splinterrummsrüttel *), and then ran down the aisle, quite angry.
He crashed into a petite girl with a full pot. She fell backward into the passage and hit the ground hard.Trunks started and bent down to the girl.
"Everything okay? I was a bit ... um ... careless," he tried to apologize. Then he helped her get up.
The girl got a red sheen on her cheeks, smiled a little uncertainly, said everything was fine, it was her fault, and then picked up her school books that had been scattered in the fall. Then she sprinted down the aisle, leaving Trunks alone. He didn't worry about the unknown girl any more and went to the sports field to at least do something useful for the rest of the lesson.
Finally the doorbell rang for the break. Trunks stopped. He had now run 300 laps around the sports field and was of the opinion that even if it hadn't been too strenuous for him, he could still take a break and do the same thing as everyone else: eat!
In the cafeteria he quickly found Goten, who had already finished his triple portion and was now peering through the rows of tables with a curious face.Trunks sat down with Goten. "Well, kid (that's what Trunks liked to call Goten to remind him who the older of the two was), you're going to sprain your neck. What is there to see?"
Goten turned to Trunks. "You were hardly gone when we got a new one. It's pretty pretty and now sits next to you."
Trunks listened. The girl he'd collided with in the hallway appeared in his mind's eye. "What does she look like?" He asked to make sure.
Goten said: "She has long brown hair that was tied in a ponytail and she's a great figure. She's one of the sporty kind, but I don't think she fights. So it's not for me. He'd be with you domestic, well-formed type, yes, more suitable. "
Trunks grinned broadly and replied: "Since when do you know what kind of girl I'm into? Did that tell you a little bird?"
Goten grinned just as broadly. "Nope, your mum told me that after your date with Angie."
Trunks's smile faded and he got a sour expression. "One day I have to really tell him my opinion."
"Your father already does that every day. Do you think you'll have to blame her for how incompetent she supposedly is?" Asked Goten, but this time seriously.
"You are right," admitted Trunks and then said with mock astonishment: "Boar, this is the second time in my life that I have told you this. Don't you think that this is a pretty scary development?"
"I think so. Maybe I should go to a psychiatrist to reduce my intelligence so that I am like my father again," Goten replied with a smirk and both of them snorted.
"Come on now, show me where the new one is," demanded Trunks and Goten pointed to a girl who was sitting with a group of others at a table near her and laughed. It was the girl who bumped into Trunks.
"And why is she sitting next to me?"Trunks asked, puzzled.
"Well, you smart one, because that was the only free seat in our class. Do you think Takashi-sensei would have voluntarily sat someone down next to you? She hates you like the plague. I think she'll swap you with someone next class to let."
Trunks looked grim. "Probably."
The bell rang and announced the beginning of the next hour: sport. Finally a subject in which Trunks was not treated like dirt by the teacher, but with awe and respect. Kendo-sensei was a small, weak man who had already made the decision after the first lesson with Trunks and Goten never to annoy the two of them.
The whole class gathered on the sports field to wait for the teacher. All of them had already moved. The new girl was not very different from the other classmates of Trunks and Goten. She was dressed in the usual sportswear of the girls at the OrangeStarHighSchool: a short black, slightly wider sport pants and a white T-shirt with the school badge.
First, students should warm up. In addition, everyone ran a few laps. It turned out that she was quite gifted for a person, but not of uncommon talent. Just like the others, she was a bit out of breath and did not attract attention, very different from Goten and Trunks, who mastered all the exercises with flying colors.
Now it was the turn of baseball, a favorite sport at this high school.
Because Goten and Trunks were about equally good, they should actually always choose and lead the teams that competed against each other.
Trunks, nice as he was, wanted to choose the new girl so she wouldn't be left until the end. When he tried to call her up, however, a major problem occurred to him: he didn't even know her name!
"Um ... well, you there," he stuttered, pointing at her. She got up and went to him.
"My name is Kyoko," she said, slightly embarrassed, and held out her hand. Trunks shook her very, very gently and introduced himself too. Then Kyoko joined the group while Trunks and Goten selected their remaining members. By the way, pretty much every girl giggled when she was called by Goten or Trunks. Like Gohan, Trunks and Goten were the school's two swarms of girls.
Even if you hadn't looked at Kyoko, she was really happy that she wasn't left to the end. So Trunks scored a plus.
Finally the game began. And here, too, Kyoko was an average student. Until something strange happened. Goten threw a ball for Kyoko to hit. Of course, he didn't throw too much, but a ball easily thrown by a Saiyajin can, as we know, cause some damage. It happened that Goten's ball did not fly towards the bat, but towards Kyoko's head. Her eyes widened in shock and, as if held back by an invisible force, the ball suddenly lost all speed and fell harmlessly in front of Kyoko's feet. She breathed audibly. Stupid girl, she scolded herself in her mind. Why did you do that? Why didn't you just evade? Why did you have to get everyone's attention right away?
All the students stared at the ball in disbelief. Nobody seriously connected Kyoko to this event, but it aroused general amazement that one of Goten's balls simply stopped flying. Trunks in particular became thoughtful. Something was wrong with this girl. Suddenly her mediocrity struck him as suspicious. What better camouflage than being absolutely average, i.e. not attracting attention through particularly good or particularly bad performances?
The more he lost
