Fanfic: Kopfgeld Teil 1

himself in his thoughts, the more he realized that Kyoko must have a secret. Her appearance was also average: she was pretty but not beautiful, inconspicuous but not ugly. Trunks decided to bring this to Goten's attention during the next break, should he not have noticed it by himself.

Finally the school day was drawing to a close. As expected by Trunks, Kyoko was middle class in biology and physics as well. Every now and then she said something, sometimes it was wrong, sometimes it was right. After school was over, Trunks and Goten went out of the school building together. Neither of them wanted to go home, so they resolved to train on a range of hills a little further away. Strolling and laughing, they were walking around the corner of the house when they saw the girl again. Kyoko just looked to the other side and did not notice the two boys because Trunks Goten had put his hand over his mouth.

She turned around again and saw Trunks and Goten. At first it looked like she was annoyed, but then she put on a smile and walked over to them.

"Hello!" She called. "I'm looking for the bus stop. Do you know where the bus goes to sector B223?"

"You live in Sector B223?" Trunks asked confused.

"Yes, of course", the girl replied and added, looking at her incredulous expression on her face: "The way is not that long either. The bus almost drives through because nobody gets off in the neighboring villages. Then it only takes two up to 3 hours to get home. "

"2 to 3 hours!" Goten shouted in horror. "What are you doing there?"

"Most of the time I start with my homework or read something."

"But, tell me ...", Goten began, suddenly noticing something, "how did you get here? But also with the bus, right?"

Kyoko pushed around: "Oh, well, somehow, um ... oh, yes! I came by bus, but my sense of direction is sometimes quite bad. So now I'm looking." Saved! , thought Kyoko and breathed a sigh of relief.

Trunks smiled at Kyoko. "That's no reason to be ashamed. You should see me if I want to find anything in our house ..."

Goten laughed."Oh yeah, I remember your house well after you checked the radar. A battlefield didn't mind."

"Well," said Trunks, to quickly change the subject, as it was a bit uncomfortable for him to be exposed, "how about we take you to the bus stop? We have enough time."

"Gladly!", Beamed Kyoko, and the three set off. Goten and Trunks found out that Kyoko was an orphan. Her mother had died giving birth and her father was heartbroken shortly afterwards. From then on, the girl was pushed from orphanage to orphanage because of her bad behavior and rebellion. "I've always had a problem with authority," said Kyoko. Otherwise she had no relatives. Now she lived in the Takerun Orphanage in Sector B223. The next high school from there was the OrangeStarHigh, and so it had to make this long journey every day. Kyoko told her life story with a strangely indifferent undertone in her voice, as if it weren't really close to her.

"It sounds like you've come to terms with the fact that you're living in the orphanage," Trunks stated.

"I have to accept it. Nobody gives me my parents back, so I have to get along without them. That's my fate," Kyoko replied with a fixed look.

"We're here," said Goten with the uncomfortable feeling of interrupting Trunks and Kyoko. "Your bus will come in 5 minutes. I think Trunks and I should be on our way then too."

"All right. Well, thank you guys for bringing it. Goodbye."

Trunks also said goodbye. Goten and Trunks went around the next corner, took off and flew to a suitable training area, which they reached just a few minutes later.

Kyoko watched the two of them until they had disappeared around the corner, threw a few glances to their sides and then took off to fly home. Her thoughts turned to her first day of school during the flight. The cool wind blew the strands of hair off her face and she enjoyed the warm rays of the sun.Somehow she liked Goten and Trunks. Both were very different from their other classmates: they were much more open and friendly.

Contrary to her expectations, Kyoko was looking forward to the next day of school, when she would see them again.

Trunks and Goten were engrossed in their training battle. As always, they didn't give each other anything. For once, however, Goten had gained the upper hand and beat Trunks around. He delivered a targeted blow to Trunks' stomach. This hit the ground hard and stayed there for the time being. Breathing heavily, he straightened up to sit when Goten landed next to him. Goten sat down next to his best friend. He had clearly noticed that Trunks was not concentrating at all, but that his mind was wandering around completely different things. He wasn't at it at all.

"Do you want to tell me why you are not concentrating?" Goten asked seriously. "Or should we stop?"

Trunks laughed in agony. "What is it, don't you enjoy winning?"

"Not if I don't deserve it. You know very well that I couldn't beat you if you were careful. So what's the matter? Is it because of the new guys?"

Trunks nodded reluctantly. There was no point hiding something from Goten. Anyway, he found out everything about Trunks. They were more like brothers than just friends.

"I think all the time about what she's trying to hide from us."

"You seriously believe that just thinking about it would give you the answer?" Asked Goten doubtfully. "You should watch them or something. I'm sure that puzzling around won't get you to any result."

Trunks nodded and the two turned back to their training. Despite the words of encouragement from his best friend, Trunks couldn't get Kyoko's smile out of his head, and so he lost this fight. At around 11 p.m., the two made their way home.Goten was dissatisfied. He won, yes. He had wished for nothing more than once, only once to see Trunks' amazed face when Goten outdid him. There was no sign of the enmity of Vegeta and Son-Goku between the two, but it still hurt Goten to be the eternal second.

And this time, too, he hadn't really beaten Trunks. If Trunks had just tried harder, Goten would have lost, as so often. Angry and disappointed too, he buried himself in his homework so that he no longer had to think about his failure. At some point the age difference would become insignificant.

Trunks was angry with himself too. Never before had a girl upset him like this. Again and again he told himself that his interest in Kyoko was based on sheer curiosity. He just didn't want to admit that he found her kind of cute too. But only a very, very, little bit, he finally assured himself.

He finally got home. His mother was once again sitting in the kitchen and waiting for her son, while Vegeta was probably in the gravity room. Trunks entered quietly, but Bulma was a light sleeper.

She greeted her son with slightly glassy eyes. "Good evening, Trunks, that you're coming too ..."

"Sorry, Mum," apologized Trunks and went to his room to do his homework. It was a bit late, but Trunks never needed much sleep. After an hour he was finally finished and tiredly crept into his bed. But not even in his dreams did the strange girl let go of him ...

So! That was the first part. I plan to make the next part with a little more action. Be curious! The next threat is not long in coming ...
