Bounty Part 6 by SSJTrunksFan
Well finally! I've been of the opinion for about 2 chapters that this is developing into a never-ending story. The whole thing has dragged on quite a bit. But now - finally - the final battle and with it the end of the story. I don't think the ending will surprise anyone. And ... in case anyone is wondering where their comments have gone - I accidentally (something like that only happens to me * sob *) deleted my entire FF, then had to put it on the web again and so all comments disappeared * sadly *. And they were just nice clerks. Please, please write to me again, I also promise to always be nice and good (Sounds like I'm begging my mother to increase my pocket money. And that has never worked.). Still, here is the 6th and hopefully the last part. If not, I'll write it down at the end.
Gotenks turned around. There was still nothing to be seen of Katra. He used the time to transform himself into a threefold supersaiyajin. Suddenly Katra reappeared behind him. Gotenks barely managed to avoid the man's fist. He launched an attack himself. With his left hand he struck Katra in the face. When he evaded, not impressed, Gotenks struck with his right fist exactly where his opponent had evaded. Katra flew in a high arc against the wall of the palace courtyard. For a short time everything remained silent. Gotenks gathered strength for a mixture of Final Flash and KamaHameHa.
"And now ... my turbo-lightning-opponent-blown blow attack!"
A bright purple blast of energy rushed from his hands into the palace. The foundations of the building trembled, but it stopped. The palace was already looking very battered. Dende covered his little green face with his hands.
“My beautiful palace!” Piccolo, too, seemed somewhat appalled by the ruthlessness of his protégé.
"Watch out, you idiot! Do you want to blow us up here? It will take years to repair the damage."
"Fuck elegance," croaked Gotenks. "I want to break."
Piccolo slapped his forehead with the palm of his hand, creased one of his feelers and gave up trying to teach Gotenk's reason.
There was a pretty loud crash behind the Z group. The palace moved. Katra slowly peeled itself out of the rubble. His eyes glittered dangerously and he seemed even more insane than before. His black combat suit was torn and many parts of his body were exposed. He must be in terrible pain, Kyoko thought in a fit of pity, but then her features hardened. He should suffer. It was only right that way. She had pondered Gotenks' words and came to the conclusion that he was essentially right. It would take a long time to accept what she had done, but she knew inside that she would get over killing.
With a loud scream, Katra lunged at Gotenks. After his initial difficulties, Katra seemed to approach the fight more carefully and calmly. He left his cover less often and let his opponent wage battle. Gotenks was much stronger than Katra, however, and it wasn't long before the fight became extremely one-sided. Katra had little to counter the attacks of his opponent. After about half an hour Katra had run out of breath and so he was on the floor. Gotenks built himself up above him. He already saw himself as a winner. His laughter echoed all over the palace courtyard
"Hahahahahaha!", Gotenks laughed at the man who doubled over at his feet. "Did we give a little too much? It had to be like that." He put on a mean grin. "Say goodbye to life."
Once again he began to gather strength for a `TurboBlitznerWegpust-attack`. A huge ball of energy emerged in his hands, which he held high above his head. The energy that Gotenks released grew and grew. The Z-Group backed away from the scene of the fight to prevent Gotenks from accidentally blowing up any of them.
But suddenly Gotenks turned back to normal Saiyan status. He cried out in horror. Piccolo groaned in exasperation and mumbled angrily that it should have happened that way. Why Gotenks is always so confident. That would have gone wrong before. Vegeta and Goku stared in horror at Gotenks, who was enveloped in a bright white light. ChiChi screamed and passed out. Bulma tried to catch her, but was dragged down herself with her. Sitting on the floor, she watched the action, absently chewing her lower lip. Kuririn clung to 18, who herself had enough to do with calming Marron, who was on her arm. Dende hid behind Popo.
The white light exploded. With an enormous force, the Goths and Trunks were torn apart and hurled in opposite directions. They hit the palace floor hard. Kyoko tugged at Goku's sleeve and looked at him questioningly.
"Should that be the case?" She asked, unsure whether the question had already been answered when Goku looked at her. There was something haunted and desperate in his gaze. Kyoko swallowed and tried to untie the knot in her throat to answer the question herself.
"Oooooooooookay. But they can merge again, right?"
"Only if Katra gives you the time."
The girl let go of Goku's sleeve and watched the picture that presented itself to her. Katra lay in the middle of the palace courtyard. He tried hard to get up. Trunks and Goten lay on either side, confused and trying to make out what had happened.
Then both of them got up and approached Katra.
"We should probably merge again," suggested Goten, "while Katra is still on the ground."
Trunks nodded with a grim sidelong glance at the one lying on the floor."We still have a chance to defeat him."
"What are you talking about?", Vegeta shouted impatiently across the square. "Are you finally merging, or how much time do you want to waste?"
"It's okay, we'll do it!" Trunks yelled back. He looked around once more. His gaze stayed on Kyoko, who was pale as death and was nervously pulling on a thread of her denim jacket sleeve. The seam was already very frayed. She worries about me, he thought, and his heart leaped with joy. He blushed his cheeks and quickly turned away. He looked at Goten again. He had followed his gaze and now had an amused smile on his face.
"Well, you womanizer, let's get this thing over with first. Then you can start the next big project," he said and grinned broadly.
The two friends took up positions.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu - Aaaaaaah!"
Kyoko yelled, but it was too late. Goten crashed into the palace wall with a deafening noise. The building wobbled briefly, then collapsed for good and buried the boy under itself. In his place stood Katra, emaciated, injured and with a mad grin on her scarred face. Trunks backed away in horror. Then Katra attacked. And this time it was Trunks who was put on the defensive. Even without the superhuman speed, Katra was a serious opponent, as Trunks had to learn to his chagrin. While Katra was beating him around, Gohan and Goku were digging in the rubble of the Palace of God. After a short search they found Goten, who was very battered but could still stand and walk. Dende rushed to heal him, but Goten refused.
"As long as I can still walk, I don't need any help," he groaned.
"Quite my son," beamed Goku, but added concerned, "But take care. He won't give you any more opportunity to merge."
Goten nodded through clenched teeth. "I'm trying."
Trunks found his movements harder and harder. It was only with great difficulty that he managed to some extent to repel his opponent's attacks. Not even his transformation could change the course of the fight.
Then Goten intervened again. In fact, he briefly managed to lure Katra out of the reserve and Trunks found time to prepare a final flash. With the last of his strength, he fired the huge ball of energy at Katra, but the latter simply caught the projectile and threw it back at Trunks.
Fatally wounded, Trunks fell on his back. Goten rushed to him. Behind the two of them, Bulma burst into tears while Goku tried to stop Vegeta from doing a rash act.
Trunks lay flat on the floor, breathing hard. It wasn't easy for him to keep his eyes open. He recognized the fuzzy outlines of a boy of about 16 with messy black hair who kept calling out a name. The boy kept shouting 'Trunks'. But Trunks' world turned. He didn't know who or what this Trunks was, he didn't know the boy who was bending over him, and he also recognized the voice of the woman who was constantly shouting 'No'. The only thing Trunks recognized at that moment was the emptiness that spread over his body and the cold associated with it. He knew what they meant and suddenly he lost his fear.
"Goodbye," he whispered weakly and closed his eyes.
"No !!! Trunks, stay here !!!" shouted Goten, but he knew it was too late. Then a small green figure approached with a quick, easy step. Katra looked up in alarm as Dende approached. Then he smiled. Another one who doesn't want to know the truth, he thought smugly.
But Dende didn't cry. He raised his hands so his palms were pointing at Trunks. Warm light flooded Trunk's body. He opened his eyes again. The contours of the figures around him took shape again.
"What the hell ..." Katra railed when he saw that Trunks' condition was improving and his wounds were getting smaller. Dende looked up at the scream and looked into the angry face of the man who had hurt Trunks so badly. Katra raised a hand and tossed Dende across the courtyard with full force. Dende landed unconscious on the stomach of his servant Popo.
But Trunks was healed enough that he could get up again.
Vegeta grabbed Kyoko roughly and lifted her back to her feet because she had kneeled on the floor and covered her face with her hands.
"You can look again," he grumbled. "Dende saved him from death."
Kyoko sighed in relief and then tried to wipe the
