Then I looked at Master Kaio ... To my horror, he seemed very weak. He was breathing at least as hard as I had a few seconds ago and droplets of sweat pearled down his forehead. Slowly he finally removed his hand from my head, dropped exhausted on a chair and breathed as if he had just won a 5000m run. "Now ... now I understand why Dende couldn't heal you ..." he said, still completely out of breath and looked at the floor.



I wasn't able to say a single word, I was too impressed by Master Kaio's incredible abilities. Truly, he was just as everyone had described him to me and no one had even remotely exaggerated!


"You won't be fine for long ... my strength is just too weak ..." he said and looked up at me again. "What do you mean?" I asked uncertainly, although unconsciously I had long been clear about the answer.

"We'll start right away ... Let me ... take a breather ..." Master Kaio asked me and I nodded. So in a few minutes we would begin to explain my origins as best we could and to find out what exactly was wrong with me ... My tension grew and I slowly began to tremble ...
