Chapter 9: The Reunion




The morning dawned and Piccolo, who was the first to wake up, carefully woke Deedo. Deedo opened his eyes, sleepy and still a little battered, and gave Piccolo a smile. He returned her gesture and helped her to her feet. "Thank you very much," Deedo said softly and kissed him on the cheek. Then she stretched and went outside. The sun was already on its way to the top of the sky. Except for a few scattered clouds, the sky was clear again. So early in the morning it was still a bit frosty. Deedo was trembling slightly. Piccolo came up to her and said: We'd better go to see the others. Don't worry, you're sure to get warm when you fly. Deedo nodded and the two started the flight towards Capsel Corp Operation. The air was pleasantly fresh. It was wonderful to be able to move around so freely again, after all, they had to spend 2 days in this cave.


By the time this was happening, the other members of Group Z had long since met again at Bulma's.There were wild discussions about whether Piccolo and Deedo are still alive. It was enough for Gohan, he could not stand the eternal argument any longer. He was so worried about the two missing. Gohan was just about to go looking for Piccolo and Deedo when they landed in Bulma's garden. Gohan's mind calmed down when he saw the two of them and at the same time he was completely over the top, with joy of course. "You took a lot of time," a voice came up to her from behind. It was Goku and behind him were Vegeta, Trunks, Bulma, Chichi and Lunch. Deedo saw the tears in Lunch's eyes and thought: Oh no, so she already knows about Tenshinhan's death. Why didn't I do anything, I could have prevented it. Piccolo seemed to read Deedo's thoughts, put his hand on her shoulder, and shook his head.


Deedo smiled, but it was more of a forced smile. Deedo pushed the thought aside and went into the house with the others happy to see them again, sad about the victims and angry at Cell
