The way to the light

It was getting dark. Azurian sat pensively on a stone and watched Fisk. He practiced the sword wield. In her mind, however, she was elsewhere. She saw the monkey hands in front of her, thought about the full moon and wondered what she wanted to do before the sight of the moon. Fisk stepped up to her, causing her to look at him with a quick wince. "I'm improving, right?" Fisk asked. Azurian looked into his eyes. She got a questioning look. "I ..." Azurian managed to say. Fisk put his sword back in its holster and sat next to her. A moment of silence. Azurian started again: "Fisk, I ... I can't explain it ..." "What?" She suddenly turned away. "... not so important. Let's go back to the temple ..." She got up and ran away.

Another morning came. One side of the planet Aqu was bathed in light that broke in the innumerable waters and rainbows appeared in the humid air.

The apprentices were on their feet or in the water early on. Qui-fait began: "Your training with me is nearing its end. We now come to the last skill I can teach you. The final technique of purity. The 'healing'."

"It is not possible to heal a being without being a special creature." Fisk interrupted her, "What do you mean by 'special creature?" are the Namekians. Some of them have special abilities, such as healing beings. But that doesn't matter. As a paladin, you will be able to heal allies by giving your own strength to the one to be healed. This may be more complicated than it actually is. "

"Well, it's an ancient passive technique that has been improved over generations. You have balanced it out for hundreds of years until the healing was perfected.

Unfortunately, I am not able to demonstrate it to you. Because of this, you have to learn by word. So ... Azurian, would you hit Fisk several times, please? "

Azurian looked puzzled. Qui-fait nodded. She started shrugging. Fisk was surprised too, but Azurian's fist landed in his face. Some punches and kicks and Fisk crashed. "Now kneel down, Azurian. OK, then stretch your arms over him. Now concentrate your strength as if you were forming a ball of energy, only more slowly."

Azurian knelt over Fisk, her arms raised towards him. Tiny beads of sweat formed on her forehead. Qui-fait continued: “All right, touch Fisk's arm with both hands and let the force pass slowly and in small steps. Very slowly.” A pearl found its way to the tip of Azurian's nose. Fisk looked past her at the sky and waited for effect. Slowly the power of Azurian discharged on Fisk. The pearl dripped onto Fisk's suit.Azurian lost focus and Fisk screamed. She had given it all at once. Qui-fait shook his head sadly when Fisk beat Azurian out of the blue. He pulled himself up and received a counter blow. A small, wild fight broke out and the two paladin disciples fisted against each other.

Qui-fait shouted in between. Her students stopped and slowly floated back to her. "That can be cheerful ...", Qui-fait sighed. They trained until dawn and all three went to sleep, exhausted.

Azurian has remained relatively quiet and quiet since being transformed into a monkey, no longer training with Fisk in the evening and hardly speaking to him or Qui-fait. Fisk was worried but wouldn't say anything.

Weeks passed. Azurian and Fisk have been with Qui-fait for about 4 months now. They had finally found the balance they needed to heal. Her last day on Aqu had come. They had breakfast. Azurian was chewing on her seaweed bun more or less listlessly (mmmhhh, yummy!). They had seldom had breakfast on Aqu. But because today was a special day, Qui-fait allowed her students to eat. When everything was eaten and cleared away, the farewell began.

Azurian was anything but enthusiastic about this. She accepted the award dejectedly. Fisk couldn't be happy either because he looked at Azurian, which made him sad. "I hope that we may meet again someday and I wish you a successful training at the last temple." Qui-fait bowed briefly and added: "May the light guide you!"

Suddenly Yoki appeared, just at the right time. He looked worried at Fisk and Azurian. “Let's go ... goodbye Qui-fait!” He teleported her from Aqu.

"We're here. Welcome to Arkanan," Yoki stormed off. But that did not cheer his students up.

A great wasteland stretched before them. Rocks and sand. Nothing but rocks and sand, save a towering temple. The shadow of the temple fell on the three visitors to Arkanan. It was an aged step temple, worn away by the sand, built of brown stones, desert brown like the countless rocks.

Infected by the dejection, Yoki sighed soberly: "Now go to the temple of patience. I have to go, good-bye ..." He disappeared without a proper farewell. Regardless, Azurian and Fisk went to the gate of the temple. With a racket, they opened the huge worn door.

Inside were four stones, each with a strange mark on it. They carefully explored the room, but there were only the four large stone blocks in there.

The runes on the stones made sense on closer inspection. You could see water, fire and wind there. But one of the stones, which was the one behind on the right when viewed from the entrance, had a symbol that Fisk and Azurian could not interpret. It consisted of something like a Ypsilon framed in a box and looked in no way the same as the others.

The two viewed the matter melancholy. Azurian was down and Fisk was because of her. They sat in front of the stone and considered, avoiding each other's gaze.

Hours passed. They stared at the symbol with concentration. But then Fisk had enough. "What is that supposed to be? What should we do here, please?" He roared into the temple. "I guess," he began with an ironic undertone, "that you have to move these blocks somehow, right?" Azurian looked startled in Fisk`s eyes. Then the idea came to her.

"Fisk !!! I've got it!", She shouted to the man who was trembling with anger. He turned to her. Azurian's dejection had left her face a little. Fisk calmed down.

Azurian muffled her voice: "When I looked into your eyes, they reflected the stone wall.Take a look at the wall ... "She showed him." The sign ... do you recognize it? Either it is stone, i.e. earth, or ... what earth represents. And, recorded? "Fisk looked questioningly with a hint of thoughtfulness.
