Fanfic: Just one more Chnace (Teil 1)

Briefs?" Suddenly pulled her out of her dreams. She looked ahead, puzzled, straight into the sparkling eyes of her math teacher. He had found a new victim.

"Oh, sorry if I bothered you with your pre-pubertarian thoughts, but I figured you could explain the likelihood of a solar eclipse on Saturn."

"What, oh, of course."

The old man looked up, confused.

"First you choose a moon. It has four. For example, Titan. It is the closest to Saturn. Now you take the orbit and the speed. It takes Titan three days to orbit Saturn once. The sun is 3.4 billion light years away, so take 3.4 billion with nine times as Titan rotates three times until the rays of light reach it. Then you have to see which side of Saturn you are on. If you are on the lower side, you have to add the result, namely 30.6 billion, by 2 times 3.4 billion. This then comes out to 37.4 billion. You divide that by 3.4 and you have it out. So there is a solar eclipse on Saturn every eleven hundred years. "

Over time, both the teacher and the other students had gradually noticed their mouths. And now they all stared in disbelief and amazement.

"That's not entirely true. You forgot that there is the asteroid belt of Alpha Centauri in between, it fans the light again and stops it briefly.", Son-Goku replied from behind and made the general confusion perfect.

"Oh, that's right. So you have to divide the result by 3.4 to the power of five. Then the solar eclipse only happens every eight hundred and twenty-three years.", Bulma corrected her report and closed her book with satisfaction when the bell rang and everyone fell off their chairs jumped up and marched off to the next room.

Bulma was almost the last to come out because she was still trying to get her clothes at least a little dry, but that didn't work.

Mr. Stiff was gone, too. Apparently she was all alone in the classroom.

"Oh, great, now I can run around with these sticky things all day.", She sobbed and started to cry. It was just too much. Too much shame, nasty remarks, stupid jokes, too much mockery and laughing. At some point it was over, you just couldn't do it anymore. And she had reached that point now. Now of all times. On the first day of school of the last week before the holidays in room 8a at exactly eight forty-three.

"Is what?" Asked a very familiar voice.

Son-Goku poked his head in the door and looked over to her seat.

The girl with the turquoise hair quickly blew her nose, wiped the tears from her face with her hand and forced a smile.

"Everything's okay. What do you want?", She breathed and went to him in the hallway.

"I waited for you."

"What? Why?" That was really a surprise. He had actually been waiting for her. But why?

“Because I wanted to.” A cheeky grin crossed his face and his black eyes sparkled like black gems.

"Okay, but now we have to hurry. We'll have biology in a moment."

She hurried off quickly. Goku had to run a little to catch up with her.

"And your action at Mr. Stiff was really brilliant. He looked pretty stupid out of the laundry.", He praised her award-winning answer to the Saturn question.

"But you also knew a lot."She risked a look into his eyes. They were beautiful and studied them constantly. It was a comforting feeling to have someone's full attention. The attention of a boy.

"Oh, that bit of astronomical knowledge. Tell me, did you cry?"

With the last question he pointed to her slightly red eyes and blurred cheeks.

"What? No, no, something just caught my eye.", Bulma lied and looked furtively to the side, even if she would have preferred to look further into his eyes, which were still resting on her, she felt that.

"You shouldn't cry. You look a lot nicer otherwise.", He said softly, smiled and handed her a handkerchief.

"But I haven't ..."

"Come on now or do you want to keep Ms. Taman waiting?" He called. Son-Goku had already run to the stairs and Bulma rushed after. She rubbed her face dry and then put the towel in her pocket. So he had seen her after all.But he hadn't said anything else. Except that she looked prettier when she wasn't crying. Only now did she realize that he had complimented her. She blushed slightly and smiled a little. When she got to him, however, she looked serious again.

It was weird. For eight years they had never exchanged a word with him and now he had already paid her a compliment. This world was already crazy .......

Ms. Taman was the biology teacher at Orange Hihg School and one of the most popular too. She was always friendly, laughed a lot and extensively, and was a little chubby.

Son-Goku and Bulma arrived at the appropriate room at the last second. While she panted, he didn't even have to breathe a little more than usual.

That was probably because he was the best martial artist this school had ever seen. He was in first grade because martial arts was one of the main sports at Orange High, alongside football, athletics and swimming.

Goku was better than any teacher in all types of fighting and therefore always trained himself in the sports lessons.

Bulma was still surprised that he wasn't out of breath at all. Still wondering how she'd managed to run from the sixth to the first floor in thirty seconds, she dragged herself to her seat. Beside her, of course, was free again. She sat alone in every subject in which the students could choose their own places. It had been painful at the beginning, but now it was getting better.

"Um, Ms. Taman?"

The woman, in her twenties with small glasses, turned to Goku.

"Yeah what's up?"

"Do you mind if I sit down somewhere else?"

"But no, not at all. Sit wherever you want." She laughed again and conjured that relaxing and so very honest smile on her face.

"Great, Thanks."

Bulma hadn't noticed anything at all.She had noticed with horror that her bio book was completely taped up. Just opening the first page was almost impossible.

"Here, you can check out my place." His voice echoed in her ear again.

Slowly she began to like that voice. It sounded soft, not too high and not too low, kind of really nice.

"What are you doing here?" She asked when she looked into his cheeky grinning face and then focused on his open book.

"I sat down next to you. May I, right? Besides, you can use my help."

"Please what? I don't need your help."

"Sure, then turn to page three."

Bulma looked at him confused. What did he want? Only after a few quiet seconds did she realize that he meant the book.

"Oh that's what you mean."

"Why? What did you think I mean?"

"Not so important."

She sat comfortably in her chair and enjoyed the feeling. The feeling that someone was sitting next to her, talking to her and even made her look at her book.

Behind her, Maname gritted his teeth angrily. Son-Goku usually sat right in front of her. He was right within reach for her attempts to flirt. But now he was sitting at the very front and, to make matters worse, next to this Briefs swamp cow.

"Well, folks, we had watched a film about the behavior of poisonous snakes in the last lesson. Your homework was to find information about a snake that you are particularly interested in.", Mrs. Taman began the class and took out the red class register her bag. Everyone who didn't do their homework was noted in it. Each teacher had his own.

"Well, if you don't have your homework, please contact me now.", She replied, while most of them put their things on the table.

A few people answered immediately, including Maname.

"Maname, why not? This is your third line this month. "

"Apparently I misunderstood something. As a snake that I like, of course I wrote about the queue in front of the cash register in the Waldorf. Not about those disgusting bastards."

The group of four girls, always waffling around Maname, began to giggle.

"It's a shame, but remember. Not everything is about clothes.", Ms. Taman sighed and then went around to look at the presentations and information sheets of the other students.

Bulma had written something about the anaconda. A four page essay. Not world-shattering.

Her neighbor also had a whole wad of paper in front of her.

"What did you do about?", She asked curiously and took the information material in her hand.

"About the Australian Taipan. And you?"

He reached for her homework and briefly brushed her arm. Bulma winced. His skin was soft yet hard. It electrified her.

"Oh, the anaconda. Not bad."

Then Mrs. Taman came from behind and beamed when she saw the two presentations in front of her. Of course, Bulma and Son-Goku got an extra point in their work behavior.

"So, and because there will be holidays soon and you probably don't feel like studying in this weather anyway, I've brought you something.", She chirped after a while and pushed a covered rectangular box in front of the desk.

When she pulled the cloth away, Maname immediately screamed and a few others backed away in disgust. A python snaked in the open terrarium.

"If you want to, you can fool the animal, but be careful, even if it's just a snake, it has teeth."

"And are you coming with me?"

Bulma looked inquiringly at Goku.

"Where?"

“Well, touch the snake.” He grinned cheekily again and winked sweetly at her again.

At first she wanted to decline with thanks, but then she saw a glitter in his eyes, a provocative glitter, as if he wanted to lure her.

And there she got up and marched off. She would show him
