In the sign of the moon
Written by Mizu
Hey guys! I thought I might write a slightly different FF. It plays - not surprisingly - in the Cell Saga, in fact in the ten days before the Cell Games. I took the liberty of simply using the missing days in my favor * g *. I only made slight changes in the time series, so that everything ends normally in the end (Goku dead, etc. ...).
I have also changed a "historically" proven fact, known from the episodes, but it is not serious (I only tell this because I am telling stories - in which everything is turned completely upside down and just so little corresponds to reality , so the DBZ would have to be changed, the Charas would behave like this - not particularly like. (should not be an insult to anyone now))
The storry is about (well who?) Vegeta (I can’t do anything. Vegeta-sama is just my absolute favorite chara * melt *).The FF tells about his past in a different way. I figured that as cold and cruel as Vegeta is, his father couldn't have been particularly kind to him.
Please don't be surprised if some things seem illogical. In the end everything makes sense (for me at least).
I allow myself to always add the "-bei" to the planet Vegeta, then you always know exactly who is meant.
I don't think the headline fits completely, because it only fits on the Storry if you read a little between the lines :-(.
Personally, I find the first part pretty boring, but that's changing, please don't be alarmed.
I hope you will not suffer too much psychological damage if you read this now. But now enough talk and go!
Part 1: It all begins
The hell. A repulsive place where there is no day and night, no light and dark, and what he found worst of all, no clocks. He hated this place. He just wasn't meant to be here. He would have to live, be in the universe. Furious, he knocked the rock, which rose jagged and narrow from the ground in front of him, to one side as if it were a piece of paper. Again. He was more than tired of this monotonous and boring landscape. But he would be leaving her soon too. If the others wouldn't believe it, please. But he had learned to pay a little more attention to legends. He would find it. And then it was time. Soon ... soon .... soon ....
Vegeta was leaning against the wall of the Capsule Corporation living room, a little to one side. With a cold, appraising look he surveyed the small gathering in front of him. They had all come to take another look at how to go about the Cell games.
"It would be better if we all fly there together," said Krelin. He was sitting with Trunks and Gohan on a blanket that had been spread out on the floor.Piccolo and Goku were sitting on the sofa. With a certain contempt Vegeta had noticed that Yamcha and Tenshinhan had not come. It bothered him little. Should these weaklings stay where the pepper grows. "I don't know if you should obey the rules of the tournament .... After all, it's about the earth! You should all rush at him!" Chichi had just walked in and was carrying a tray with drinks and snacks in her hands. Her forehead was furrowed angrily. Vegeta rolled her eyes. This woman upsets him. She just didn't know anything about fighting honor. "But Chichi! We've already discussed that a hundred times! It's just not our style!" Son-Goku stood up to put his hand on his wife's shoulder soothingly. But it was just getting started. She yelled at Goku like it was for her life. Vegeta was sure that she still had to be heard from Namek. "You just have nothing in your pear, do you !!!Wonderful!! Just lose !! I mean the earth is gone, but at least we died with dignity! "Chichi was already leaning forward to scream at Son-Goku, who had taken a few steps back, like the leaning tower of Pisa. And she didn't seem to be finished yet. Gohan made a tentative attempt at his mother to calm down, he knew her temperament. "Mom, calm down! You ... "" No, nothing me !!! I am not ready yet!! "Her voice was now so loud that if you had a measuring device at hand, you would have to classify it as harmful because it had already reached phon numbers. Those present slowly retreated and tried as far as possible from Chichi She was just taking a breath to continue her sermon when - fortunately for the others - Bulma came into the room with the little drink in her arms. "What's going on here? ", she asked."Those concrete heads just don't want to understand that ... !!!" Little Trunks looked rather unhappy at this volume. "Chichi, not so loud!", Bulma rebuked her and cradled the child in her arms. "I'm sorry, but you just don't want to hear." Chichi had calmed down somewhat. Bulma smiled. "You have already trained in the space of spirit and time, you can't be better prepared! Trust them a little, they already know their way around." Bulma has been her husband since Vegeta (I think they act like that, as if they were married so I just call him that * g *) he was much more balanced and calmer, but had not lost her temperament. Chichi gave up. "Do what you want. I'll go shopping now and then drive home. The gentlemen can plan that without me." She left the room with her head held high. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Bulma! You are our salvation!" Said Krelin.
Vegeta only caught Krelin's words incidentally, as something much more important had caught his attention. Energies. They approached the Capsule Corporation. And Vegeta didn't know her, but her energies were frighteningly high for a human. The other fighters seemed to have noticed this too, for they all suddenly looked in the same direction, to the east, and straightened their forms. "Do you feel that too?" Asked Piccolo. "What is that ..." He got no further, because at that moment the eastern wall was torn into a thousand pieces, like a rotten board. Vegeta covered his eyes with one arm as the cloud of dust swept through the room. Who or what, the piccolo (Daimao), was that?
In the gaping hole in the wall was a figure hard to see through the billowing smoke. She was tall and muscular. There was also a pretty wild mane sticking out of her head, if Vegeta could see it properly.
When the smoke cleared, Vegeta couldn't believe his eyes. His gaze slid over the armor that he was familiar with, the black, bushy hair, the scouter on the stranger's left ear, under which there were black eyes - and finally down to his stomach, where a brown tail is around his waist snake.A Saiyan. And there was another behind him.
The Saiyajins glanced searchingly across the room and then got stuck on a certain person. They bowed their heads in awe and dropped to one knee as if in motion. "Your Highness ..." The gesture was for Vegeta. Everyone stared in amazement from the Saiyajins to Vegeta and back again, unable to say a word.
Vegeta himself believed to have been struck by lightning. "A Saiyajin!" He kept going through his head. “But that's not possible! The Saiyajins are dead!” But outwardly his expression remained unmoved.
Since Vegeta made no corresponding remark, one of the Saiyajins continued. "We have found you, Prince. We ask us to come with us, and so do all who are with you." He spoke the language of the earth. Vegeta finally took pity on the two of them and ordered them to stand up. "Please? That's ...", Krelin stammered. With a rather cold look, Vegeta silenced him."What if I didn't want to?" Vegeta replied calmly. But his mind raced. How could that be? Vegeta-was had been destroyed after all. And all Saiyajins except for Nappa, Raditz, Kakarott and himself had not survived that. Raditz had been killed by Piccolo and Nappa himself. There were no more Saiyans. Just Kakarott, him and their descendants. Or was he wrong about that?
"May I draw your attention to the fact that several Saiyajin capsules are in orbit over this planet and can blow it up at any time ...", the other Saiyajin remarked by the way. The others made a gasping sound. That was probably the height! "Are you going to blackmail me?", Vegeta asked sharply. "No, my prince, I would never dare! This is the only way my orders are.", His counterpart defended himself quickly. "Orders? From whom?" Asked Vegeta. "From the King of the Saiyajins, your father. I have orders to take you to Vegeta-sei."
How can that be? He's dead! The proud prince of the Saiyajins asked himself these and similar questions for the umpteenth time. His back was against the cold steel wall (or whatever) of a huge Saiyan space capsule. The others stood nearby, talking intently. Vegeta had convinced them that there was no point in opposing the fact that Saiyajins were floating above the earth, and they had agreed with him. Although they should take care of Cell, the tournament was in a week. Vegeta had promised to have everything sorted out by then and to be back on earth. What choice did they have? So now he himself, Piccolo, Krelin, Son-Gohan, Son-Goku, Trunks (when I only say Trunks, I always mean the big one) and Bulma were on the road. That Bulma and even his little son had to come along annoyed him immensely. He was worried about her.
"Vegeta? Do you really think we're going to Vegeta-sei?", Son-Goku tore him out of his thoughts. Yes, that was the second hammer. Not only was his father alive, no, but Vegeta-sei should still exist. And that was clearly destroyed." Probably .. . ", Vegeta replied dryly. He didn't know himself." But if you should, you should know one thing ... "He now turned to everyone." You should be on your guard. But not in front of the Saiyans, but in front of the king. It all depends on his mood, so don't mess with him. "That was the only thing Vegeta could or would tell them. Piccolo was about to reply when a Saiyan stepped up to Vegeta." Vegeta-sei is in sight. We're almost there. "Vegeta
