say goodbye to them. Suddenly Gohan broke the long silence.


"I think we should go now and let Amber sleep a little longer and meet everyone again to say goodbye. Where do we actually meet?"


They all rose except for Rown-hauw, who was still at Amber's side.He answered Gohan's question.


"On my spaceship. We'll fly into space with it."


"And when do you want to go?" Piccolo asked in a rasping voice.


Rown-hauw answered this question too.


"I think tomorrow night. That's best."


Then they all left the room. Before the door slammed shut, everyone wished her a good night and a good night's sleep. Now she was alone with her brother. It was getting late. Dusk set in and the setting sun cast long, dark shadows in the room and lit their faces with a golden tone. Rown-hauw looked deeply at his sister with his red-brown eyes and took her delicate hand in his large hands.


"It was your decision," he said gently to her, "don't be too hard on yourself."


Amber's eyes grew cloudy.


"Yes, I know. But still ........ it's so ........ difficult."

"I understand you, but it's your people too. I didn't force you to come with me."


"Yes indeed but......"


"But what?!"


He let go of her hand again and gently stroked her delicate skin.


"They are my friends. They are unique. I know, I have you and I appreciate that very much, but .......... You are special. And if we even survive it, then I would very much like to return to earth. "


"Yes, if we survive that. But what should our people do then? They would be helpless on a new planet to some new enemies. They are not trained fighters. And what about me? I can't do this alone either. I hope you are aware of that. "


Amber looked at him pained and forced a smile to calm him down a bit.


"We can still see what will become of us then."


"Yes, you are right. I shouldn't get so upset right away.Now sleep a little bit, sister. "


He leaned down to her and kissed her forehead, whereupon she looked at him, startled. She didn't know anything like that from him. Before he left and the door closed again, he smiled at her and, like his predecessors, wished her a good night.


Amber expected a quiet and restful sleep for her, but she dreaded the next day and was already cursing it.




Then the time came. Rown-hauw and Amber were already at the spaceship and the other Z-fighters were already there. They had all lined up around the spaceship and Amber's two best friends were already fighting back tears. When she saw her like that, she had to pull herself violently at the belt, not to start crying.


"OK, the spaceship is ready to go!", A muffled voice called from inside the large capsule, "We can take off in ten minutes if you want."


And now that was what Amber hated the most.Saying goodbye to her friends. First she went to Vegeta, who at first only threw her a growled "Good luck" at her, but then smiled friendly for his standards and pointed his thumb up. Amber also pointed a thumb up and smiled back. Then she went to Son-Goku and thanked him first for saving her life. He also wished her good luck and then put his hand on her shoulder with a sure smile of victory. Piccolo held out his hand to her goodbye, which Amber took and shook, and of course he wished her all the best. Gohan winked at her with a cheeky grin and he just winked back. Then she got to Trunks and Goten. The two were already trembling with their lips and then could not control each other and many around her neck, whereby she had to be very careful not to be crushed. Then the two let go of her again and a few lonely tears rolled down their cheeks.Finally she hugged everyone again and kissed everyone on the cheek.


"Are you coming back?" Asked Goten in a depressed voice.


"I don't know. I hope," she replied dryly.


It was so damn hard to just leave her two best friends, whom she had grown so fond of, behind.


"Oh, wait. Before you go.", Trunks said and rummaged around in a pocket of his jacket, "Here. So that you don't forget us too."


He gave her a simple silver chain with a flat pendant on which her names were written in intricate script and her zodiac signs in Chinese. She thanked them for the necklace, for their friendship and for the great time they had together. Then she climbed into the space capsule, which then slowly rose into the night sky. She stood at the window and waved again extensively goodbye.


~ I will never forget you ~, she thought sadly and Goten and Trunks thought the same thing:

~ We will never forget you ~


Within a minute, the spaceship was no longer visible in the sky and shot into the vastness of space. Amber stood by the window, lost in thought, and saw a large comet rush past. She held the chain tightly in her left hand and touched the window with her right. One thing was clear, she was already missing her friends terribly. Then she turned to her brother, who had sat in a large armchair and was watching the stars.


"How long will it take to get to the planet?"


"We should be there in about three weeks," she answered.


"Aha......."


She looked out the window again and thought about what else was in store for her and whether she would manage to free her people from the captivity of this tyrant.
