things that weren't really there, that I could make them believe that Dog in front of them be a snake or a car. I knew that I could control the elements, that I could ignite a house with the snap of a finger, that I could make a seaside town disappear under a monster wave with just a nap, that I could trigger a tremendous earthquake with a small pounder and tear the earth apart, that I could could create a storm of the century with the flick of a finger.I knew that I was the best in martial arts, that I knew karate and Juijitzu and Takeondo perfectly, that I could hit and kill anyone. I knew all of this and I also knew what to do now.


I had to call the police, sign a few forms, and then take our family's money back to me so I could buy a car and drive off. Where to, I would then find out, I knew that too.


But there was a problem, I was only fifteen at the time.


But I should be able to solve that, I knew that.


So I took Mistress, closed the doors to Mike and Gretchen's room, went downstairs, turned off the TV and radio in the kitchen, and called 110.


However, this time my stomach did not cramp when I saw my mother's broken body. I didn't feel anything. My heart was beating normally, my breathing was regulated, I didn't sweat, I could breathe normally and it didn't bother me either that the whole receiver was red.I just didn't care. My parents were dead, so what? My brother and sister were dead, so what? My cat lived, I lived, and I had a job that mattered.


Then I went to our porch with Mistress and sat on the porch swing that was there and waited for the police.
