Chapter: Prince of the Sayajin Part 6

So, here I am again.

You can criticize calmly until you can no longer. I'm already used to that.

6th chapter

One of the suns slowly rose over the planet Vegeta. Overall, the planet had four suns, each time of the year a different one, which alternately approached it (I don't know if that is possible.) It was fresh outside, the air was very dry and the sky was slightly cloudy. In time, the sun's rays streaked into every corner of the planet. The streets in the cities became bright and every dark corner or alley was found by the rays. It would probably be a fine day. The animals in the forest crawled out of their hiding place and the birds woke up to start chirping. What an idyll. Peaceful, calm ... and then someone disturbed this calm. A door of a house on the outskirts of the southern port city was blown away. Then you heard a sigh of relief and moaning (don't moan like you think again!).Son Goku. He was about to go for a run when he was held back.

"Uh, what is it?" asked he.

"Where are you going?" it grumbled from behind. Son Goku turned around. Raditz stood behind him.

"I wanted to do some morning exercise."

"Through the city?"

"Yep. Mind?" asked Son Goku kindly.

"You will get lost and then perish somewhere. I will accompany you." Said Raditz. Then they wanted to go when they were stopped again.

"But don't come so late. Today is Cavendish Day. That means that the king will give a speech at nine o'clock sharp! We have to be on the market square on time!" said the mother of the two. They just nodded and ran.

After an hour they came back exhausted. Roloc ordered them to change. After all, the coming one was a kind of festival. Then everyone had Sayajink air on. The three women wore a long dress with a strange material that did not exist on earth. The men / boys were wearing some kind of armor, just a little different. Goku liked this stuff pretty much. No wonder, he came from this planet. Son Goten tormented himself with it.

There was already a lot going on in the market square an hour earlier. Everyone wanted to be at the front, like at a rock concert. Son Goku's family was somewhere in the middle right. A large screen was stretched over a tall building. The house was probably some kind of municipal office. Just bigger. It was almost nine o'clock. The whole place, the many sayajin waited for something to happen on the screen.

Trunks had flown through all night. Early in the morning, when he finally saw something again, he leaned his head against a tree and fell asleep straight away. This pain in his foot was unbearable and stressful for him. He didn't go away either. The whole time there was such a knocking stitch in the left foot. Nobody who could relieve their pain or take it away.At home, in the Capsule Corp. there was certainly a remedy for it. But who should he ask here. Just sayajins who ignored him. Wait a minute, he was noble. Maybe someone would help him. Finally the king said that he would be honored everywhere with the mark on the foot. But they would bring him back to the castle. In this cold, big palace, where you couldn't feel good. He had to try to find someone he could trust. Let me think. Sure, Son Goku was there. After his nap he would go looking for him ....

Noise, noise. Unbearable, you couldn't sleep like that. Trunks woke up. He saw many people walking past the bush in front of him. What did that mean? Apparently nobody saw him. When the people were gone, Trunks watched them for a while until he followed them. He always hid behind trees and stones that were in the way.

These people went to something like a farm. A canvas was also stretched there. Many sayajins came from all directions, there were probably about a hundred people there. Trunks flew over the crowd (they are sayajins !!!). Nobody would notice him there, because they stared spellbound at the white wall. After a while it started. First the castle was shown, which was underlined with strange music. Trunks had never heard anything like it before. It sounded weird, but also kind of nice. It would be easy to fall asleep, he thought. After all, he was dead tired. This gravity and then the dry morning air. His eyes were already closing when he suddenly heard the king's voice coming from the screen. He opened his eyes again and was curious to see what he had to say. It was big on the screen. He looked almost like his father's face, except for the beard, it could have been.He only noticed that now. He wouldn't have noticed anything like that in the castle. Family resemblance. Clearly. If Trunks had black hair himself, surely he would look that way too, right? Then he was torn from his thoughts when the king began to speak.

"Dear citizens of our planet. I wish you a pleasant Cavendish day. We can celebrate happily anywhere. Our future is secure. I have found an heir to the throne. He is Vegeta's son." Trunks winced briefly. He knew he was meant by that. Wow, he, a prince or better yet, a king! Incredible. Then the current king continued talking.

"But unfortunately ... he made a little excursion into the night. He had better come back quickly, otherwise something terrible will happen. Trunks! Come back, or this woman will be killed." Then he pulled Bulma up by the neck. She tried to fight back but to no avail. She clenched her teeth tightly to keep from crying.Trunks fighting strength increased. That was clearly blackmail. These sayajins were capable of anything.

"If you're not in the castle within 24 hours, she's dead. I know she means something to you, so you better come right away or she'll be tortured to death." Then the screen went off again. What should he do now? He didn't want to go back, but he didn't want to abandon his mother either. Maybe he should think about it first. Yes, that was the best he could do now.

The people below talked for a while before they parted in all directions again.

Suddenly Trunks noticed a hand on his shoulder. He winced. Has it been discovered? Would he be blown now? He screwed up his eyes tightly. Hey, stop, he was stronger than the sayajins of this planet. He could just flatten it and fly away. Exactly. He turned around in a flash and took up fighting position. Then he opened his eyes.He didn't want to believe who was standing there. His father. Vegeta. Trunk's heart seemed to be sinking now, it had never been so relieved before.

"You are here?" asked he.

Vegeta just gave a short "Yes!" as answer.

"I'm so happy. I thought you had let us down."

"No I am here."

"Did you hear that from mum?" Trunks asked sadly.

"We shouldn't be talking here. We're going to another place," suggested his father. Trunks nodded. Then they took off, at the speed of light, of course. They flew over cities, meadows, fields, mountains and some forests until they reached another city that was by the sea. It took about three hours to get there. Vegeta slowed down.

"What do we want here, dad?" asked Trunks.

"Bardock lives here."

"And who is that? An old friend of yours?"

"Kakarott's father. Kakarott has certainly been accommodated here," explained Vegeta.

"Ah, I see. Son Goten and the others definitely too."

"Exactly! So ... where was his house?" Vegeta looked at the city below. Then he saw it and flew there with his son. He stood motionless in front of the door for a few seconds. Trunks loved it. His father was here. They would all go home happy ... or fly. Only the mother had to be saved.

After a while, Vegeta finally dared and yanked the door open.

Son Goku's family was back home by now. They drank some kind of coffee and talked. They were shocked when someone tore the door off its hinges with full force. Son Goku fell off his chair right away. When he got up again and rubbed his head, he noticed Vegeta standing in the doorway. Everyone was still looking at Son Goku, who was still on the ground. Only when he looked at the troublemaker did the others turn their heads. As rehearsed as a "Vegeta ???" from their mouths. Bardock and Raditz immediately fell to their knees and kissed his shoes.

"Stop it!" yelled Vegeta. The two stopped immediately and rose again. Trunks looked out from behind his father. When he saw Son Goten he was even happier.

"Son Goten, are you alive?" he said. Son Goten laughed at him. Then Trunks stormed past his father and hugged his long-lost friend. Roloc was happy to have such a prominent visitor. She went to Vegeta.

"Would you like a drink, Your Majesty?" she asked. Vegeta nodded.

"Majesty?" Son Goku whispered to his older son. The "Majesty" heard it.

"Yes, Kakarott, at least they treat me accordingly here." It came across as a bit ironic.

"Hey Trunks, how did you get away?" asked Son Goten.

"You are Trunks? You know that you are wanted." Said Bardock.

The boy looked at him and nodded, then turned back to Goten. "I was able to flee because the king released me, he took off my chains," he explained.

"What happened before?" bored his father in a deep voice. Trunks felt the pain in his foot again. "I don't remember exactly, but ... my foot hurts so much, and there is a strange mark on it now." He pointed to his foot. The others came closer to see what was there. A monkey with a crown and a ball. Vegeta gritted his teeth, he knew what had happened. Because as a toddler he had the same pain. He knew the feeling. He didn't want to show his little picture to anyone, nobody knew anything about it, nobody except Bulma. She had discovered it once while showering together. He wanted to spare his son something like that. But now he was a cog in the clock and irreplaceable. Someday his son would be king, someday he
