Fanfic: Eine Liebesgeschichte - Trunks und Pice

Chapter: A love story - Trunks and Pice

Here's another FF. I don't know if it will work, but the attempt counts. I hope you like it anyway!

A dark shadow falls on the wide plain and the sun is just setting glistening red behind the mountains. The ice glitters down in the valley and high up in the mountains. Wolves howl. The moon is rising. Billions of stars glitter, but none of them can describe what they feel. Her heart is just a heap of ruins, the splinters as numerous as the stars. “Why didn't he say?” The tears on her face are as cold as the ice and her mind as dark as the night. The tormented cry of her soul is as shrill and plaintive as the howl of the wolves. "Why couldn't he tell me what he was doing? Why did he just have to go?" Her head was buzzing with confused questions. “What did I do wrong, that he had to do this to me?” She let herself fall into the freshly fallen snow and her tears turned to ice before they hit the ground."WHY???" she yelled out into the sharp wind. Less than a week ago she was the happiest person on earth, no in the whole universe, but then this happiness was destroyed in one fell swoop. “Trunks won't come back,” had been explained to her when she asked about him. "Don't you know? He's going to get married! A beautiful young bride. Yes, today in the capital! He didn't tell you anything?" These words had ruined everything. The whole beautiful castle that she had built with her ideas for the future. Totally destroyed, like her heart. "Why?" she wondered every second since that evening. “What did I do? Done wrong?” A few hours earlier he had told her how much he loved her and that he wanted to be with her forever. "Everything is a lie? Was everything just a lie? All the love and every kiss? Just a lie?" More and more tears dripped into the snow and more and more she cried and wished for an end to this suffering.

A few days later, she received a letter that unexpectedly gave her new hope.

Lover,

Please forgive me for not being able to tell you anything.

My parents planned this wedding. I didn't want her!

Every word I told you was the truth! I love you!

I beg you, from the bottom of my heart, believe me! Soon I'll have the opportunity to get out of here. Then I'll come back to you. Then I'll hold you in my arms again. How do I long for this moment! Please, dearest, wait for me! I'll be back soon. And then we'll stay together forever.

There is only one day for it. The third full moon next year.

If you wait that long for me ...

I'll have to think of you every hour, every minute, every second that goes by.

Beloved, please wait, just as I will wait. Hold this day in your heart and then come to our place.

I love you with all my soul

Trunks

In that letter he had sent her more than an explanation. He had sent her hope. Enough hope of seeing her again, that she survived this year and waited for the third full moon the next.

So she came to her place that night. The big, old tree that stood lonely and towering in a dark meadow and whose leaves whispered stories to the wind when it passed through. She waited and waited all night. The stars glittered above her and the moon gave off silver light. But nothing to see from him yet. She had the letter with her, hugging it tightly to her heart. "Hopefully he'll come. Please, Dende, if you hear me, let him come. Please." She prayed, leaning against the trunk of the mighty, powerful tree. "Oh please, come on," she pleaded. "You're welcome."
