Fanfic: Maiju- Freezers Wunderkind [K.5] (nachbearbeitet)

Saiyajins at the same time !!!!

The next day started like any other. For once, Maiju woke up on time, hopped out of the hammock and into the battle suit, wanted to put on boots, as a habit, and wondered why they didn't fit her.

Without boots, she went to breakfast and then to the exit where Trail was always waiting for her. He was there today too, and he seemed very glad that she was well again.

"Maiju!" he called, as soon as he saw her, and his face brightened up "There you are again! Everything paletti?"

"Yup!" she replied and planted herself in front of him "Everything is fine! And no comment about my appearance!"

she added warningly.

Trail shook her head.

"Tell me, how did you know that I would come again today?" Maiju wanted to know.

"I have been informed from a higher authority that I can resume my position as your coach from today."

Another one of Trail's peculiarities, this jump from the chosen expression to casual primitive language and vice versa "So, can we?I bet you forgot everything again! "

"Don't be so sure about that! Today I'll defeat you, I can promise you that!" Maiju grinned.

"Oh? And how are you going to do that?"

"You can see that then!"

"All right! Race?"

Maiju nodded in agreement "Race!"

At the same time they rose into the air and shot away, dragging long tails of energy behind them. The resulting draft uprooted some trees and tore all feathers from a careless Loya.

Trail soon noticed that Maiju had increased considerably in speed: he was flying almost as fast as he could, but she was slowly but surely catching up. Within a minute she had caught up with him, they were now flying head to head.

Maiju grinned insolently over at him. That annoyed him. He accelerated.

She fell back for a moment, but caught up with him again. He accelerated again, flew as fast as possible, and Maiju actually lost touch and he lost sight of her.

So what! thought Trail satisfied. He turned his head back in the direction of flight

and slipped on the brakes in the next second. He couldn't believe his eyes.

Maiju grinned mockingly at him: "What is it? ..."

"How .. how did you do that? How did you overtake me so quickly? I should have seen you!"

"I flew through the trees."

"But .. but I flew as fast as I could!"

"Really? Then you're pretty lame!" returned Maiju cheekily.

Trail vacillated between pride, amazement, and offense. The child was always good for a surprise!

Then he yanked at the strap.

"All right, you may have become faster than me, but are you also stronger?"

“We'll know soon!” Maiju got into a position ready to fight. Trail did the same.

But she didn't attack yet. Like the snake, she waited, moving slowly, waiting for Trail to lose focus.

In fact, she soon saw his tense posture loosen up.

And only then did she attack.

He reacted quickly, evaded so that the first attack went nowhere, she shot past him, flipped in the air, attacked him again, hit him from behind. He was thrown forward, she flew under him and used the force of his fall to give him another heavy blow, which this time threw him upwards.

He did not get far up, however; he collided with a ball of energy that Maiju fired at him from above.

When he was lying completely bruised in the bushes, he saw Maiju's gray paws land next to him.

"I think now you know how to beat you!" she said.

"Yes," he got up with a quiet moan and spat out a little blood, "now I know! You have made enormous progress!"

Her face was serious. No more trace of the arrogance she had just shown "I didn't even know that I was that strong!" she whispered, her gaze seemed to go through him.

Trail stood up, "Well, now you know!" He activated his scouter and looked intently at the display. What appeared on it made him gasp for air: 1107!

Maiju looked at him questioningly "What is it?"

"..... your fighting strength is 1107! I'm going crazy! No wonder you beat me up like that! My own is 1000!"

"What that means..."

"That means you don't need me anymore!" said Trail resignedly.

"How so?"

"I taught you everything I could. And now you are stronger than me. Strong enough to be able to participate in regular training."

Maiju hung his head "I've always wanted that. But now ... I want you to continue as a trainer!"

"It just doesn't work!If you ever want to belong to the elite, then you have to train with the stronger! "He was having a hard time getting those words out - he didn't want to lose them either. But that wouldn't help her.

"Now come on!" he continued after a while. "You will report to Captain Waat. He will instruct you."

Without another word he flew away. Maiju followed him hesitantly.

Captain Waat didn't really look like a good coach - unless you thought coaches were small, bony, and flat-faced. He also had a skin color and texture like ancient parchment and huge red eyes. But even though it all looked rather ridiculous in combination with a black battle suit, a breastplate, boots and handguards, there was still a certain threat from him, which made Maiju not to get too close.

Trail, however, went straight to him, stopped a few steps in front of him, and saluted.

"Morning, Trail." greeted the captain with a voice as if he had acted as a fire eater.

If he does, he'll likely go up in flames! thought Maiju.

"What's up?" asked Waat.

In response, Trail pointed with his thumb over his shoulder at his previous student, "The little one needs a new trainer."

"Really?" Waat looked at Maiju with his oversized eyes "Is that Freezers prodigy?"

"How to take it. Today I was surprised!" Trail leaned forward a little and lowered his voice. "She was out of action for a month because of the experiment - you know - and suddenly she is completely fit again, and even stronger than me! "

He could have saved himself the whisper, she thought, I heard it anyway! Not to mention the fact that I already knew it!

Waat's giant eyes eyed her again. She looked dark and dismissive.

"So that means you think she's strong enough to do standard training?" said the captain without any discernible connection after he had finished his new draft.

"Yes, it is!"

"Hm!" Waat activated his scouter and was surprised when he saw the ad "Well, I think it really is. How high was your combat strength before ... a month ago?"

"Five hundred and ninety-nine."

"Pfff ....."

A moment of stunned silence.

"All right. Trail, you can go, I'll take care of everything else."

“Thank you, Captain!” Trail saluted and left the room.

Maiju suddenly had the feeling that a section of her life was over and a new one was beginning. She was excited to see what it would bring, but at the same time she was sorry that she had to give up Trail.

Thanks, Trail! You were a great trainer, everything I can do I owe you!she thanked him silently.

"Stand still!" Captain Waat's hoarse voice ripped her out of her thoughts. Completely taken by surprise, Maiju immediately straightened up: stomach in, chest out, eyes straight ahead, hands on the sides. Waat circled her once, eyed her critically.

"Good posture!" he praised, "And reacts promptly. Hope for you that you fight just as well, because" he padded up and down in front of her and yelled as if he were giving orders to a whole company, "from now on a rougher wind will blow for you! Trail may have been considerate of you, but I will definitely not do that! And woe to you if you disobey me! Then you will find yourself in Medi-Tank faster than you can stand up! So, don't allow yourself any stupid things ! Roger that?"

"Understood, captain!" she replied obediently.

"Good. The next one would be ..." Maiju prepared himself for another roaring tirade, "Since your fighting strength is now over a thousand, you will get a breastplate. Follow me!"

Waat turned and left the room. The surprised Maiju did the same.

She didn't have to go far: the storage rooms for clothes were right next door.

They entered, Waat motioned her to wait and disappeared between the rows of shelves that dominated this room.

A little later he was back and tossed her armor and wrist protectors, "There, that should fit. Try them on!"

Maiju slipped into the armor a little clumsily. Waat had estimated her size well, he fit right away "Uff, this part is damn heavy!" she moaned.

"It's a training tank, they're heavy!"

"And what is that supposed to be good for?"

"That is very clear: you automatically become stronger when you wear heavy clothing. We also have rooms here where you can train with increased gravity. But for the time being the tank is enough! "

Luckily! Maiju tried the hand protectors on and found that they were made for five fingers, not four. "I'm afraid the protectors are too big for me!" she noticed.

"I can see that! It doesn't matter. We always have cases for which we need custom-made products. You will feel the same way later, once you get a stem!" Waat grinned impudently. Maiju looked at him blankly "Please what?"

He was still grinning. "You will notice when you get older. Or you ask the person in charge."

The captain thought for a moment. Then he said: "The best thing I can do is show you the camp so that you know what to do if you need something."

Then he took Maiju through between the rows of shelves and showed her where what was stored: "Here in the first row are the
