Before Trunks had a chance to fall backwards or say anything, he was blinded by a bright light, he sincerely hoped that the light might be at the dark end of the tunnel, but no!


"So!" the old woman smirked as she pulled the picture out of the instant camera. "This is in my shocked-the-week collection!"


"I want to see! Want to see!" Paw screamed and jumped behind the counter with Goten (and the Christmas tree cap).

The picture showed a Trunks whose expression was so completely frustrated and flabbergasted that it almost scared everyone present.


"Why always me?" Vegeta's offspring muttered on and on and began to twitch his eye (like the squirrel in Ice-Age).




"Hey man ... it should be fun !!" Goten apologized and tossed his hat aside. The nasty grin was replaced by the patented Goku smile and he fell onto the third stool.


"Geez!" Paw also saw that Trunks was not doing well. "Maybe he should lie down a bit"


"Good idea. Yeah, you should go!" ordered Goten.


"And you?" Paw asked, almost disappointed.


"I'm coming to" Goten grinned at her and disappeared between the shelves.




"Fine!" Paw agreed and put an arm around the still completely disturbed Trunks "Everything will be fine" she talked to him. "I'm cursed ..." the poor guy moaned and shook his head.



"Wait, Miss!" the elderly lady called after them and carried a shirt in her hand "I would like to give this to you" "Oh thank you!" Paw was happy and took it. "Go and try it on quickly!" she suggested and her tone was clear: she wanted to talk to Trunks. Alone.


“Okay!” Paw raised an eyebrow and stepped away discreetly.




... as soon as she had put on the shirt, she heard a loud bang. Startled, she ran over two smaller shelves and saw the elderly lady on her knees in the back corner of the room. "Please-please-don't hurt me", she trembled and looked at the previously so frustrated Trunks. The quick-witted woman had been frightened when Trunks suddenly turned into Super-Saja-Jin and kept screaming "I AM NOT Jealous!"




Paw was speechless: Trunks suddenly had blonde hair, green eyes and he looked at the poor old lady with a murderous look.



Paw didn't know whether to go to him or to crouch with the woman in the corner. She chose the first. "Trunks?" she asked with an innocent expression "Trunks?" she carefully put a hand on his shoulder. His patented (DB-Manga 28, page 89) "Krepier facial expression pierced the old woman, who was increasingly concerned with fear.


"Trunks! Stop doing that! You scare her!" Paw shook him gently as if the Saja-Jin were made of glass in front of her.




"W-what?" Trunks asked dazedly and suddenly saw her ... Paw "What's going on?" he felt strange, dizzy and he only wanted one thing: sleep! "Let's go" she heard him mutter and followed him out of the 'treasure chest'. When they stepped out the door he stopped.


Without another word, he simply put his arms around her waist and pulled her very close to him. Her eyes met and Paw's cheeks went all red, "Oh Trunks" she breathed and put her arms around his neck.



"You and I ..." his exhausted voice penetrated her ears, "We ..."




Paw nodded silently and told him to continue. She was excited to see what would happen next. In the end, had he really taken Vegeta's words to heart?
