"At least that's what she says. But I think more that her father murdered her.Or would that be so unlikely? I can definitely imagine it. "Juicey nodded.


"That's right. But anyway, the youth welfare office will either send her back to her father or, if Melanie testifies, put her in a home. We won't be able to keep her. We can be happy if we get away with a black eye."


"I don't care. She's been through quite a lot. Now her mother has also died because of her father and the problems keep getting worse. Maybe you can't understand that, you don't have to, but I do!" It gave Juicey a stab in the heart that Trunks talked to her like that. Normally she would have given him a snotty answer now, but she knew that he was not only talking about Melanie, but also about himself. She tried to stay calm.


"Trunks, it ... I may not understand, but I'll try. And you have to at least give me the chance!" There was a long silence.Juicey moved on to a slightly different subject.


"So is it true that your father ...?" Trunks nodded.


"He killed her. It was logical that he hadn't admitted it, but everything spoke in favor of it. I would never have thought that Vegeta would be so cold-blooded and just kill her." Juicey paused. Vegeta, when Trunks called him that he was either angry or he didn't see him as his father anymore. But it was more true of the latter. Trunks hit the wall with his fist and it cracked long.


"I think you should rest now. Sleep on it for a night and then we'll see, okay?" He nodded.


"Well, then I'll go to Ally and let her know. You go ahead ..."




Trunks turned from side to side. Either way, he couldn't sleep. > Probably because too much has happened.
"No, no, and no again!" It sounded from the living room.


Juicey put her other hand around the mouthpiece.


"How often should I tell you? No, never, ever! I don't want anything to do with them!" She whispered. The person on the other end of the line said something that made them look quite shocked. Juicey nodded.


"All right. But if anything happens here, you will be held accountable." With that, she hung up.


“Who was that?” Juicey spun around, startled. Trunks stood in the doorway and looked at her seriously.


"Ni ... nobody. I just made the wrong number! Why are you here and not in bed?"


"Don't divert your attention from the subject. You knew the guy or did I just misheard?"


"What do you care about my phone calls?" She asked snappy.


"And since when am I not allowed to ask about it?" He replied. Juicey said nothing and sat down without a word on the couch, turned on the television.Trunks sat down with her. She moved away a little. Both were stubbornly silent. (* 1 ½ hours later *)


Trunks looked over at her briefly.


“Are you mad at me now?” She shrugged.


"Don't play the snapped liver sausage!"


"Do I look like one?" She replied. Trunks got up.


"That's exactly what I mean. Hardly a comment and you take that as an insult again!"


"I am not offended."


"And why aren't you talking to me?"


"I'm already doing it! Besides, you're not talking to me either !?" Trunks' patience broke.


"I'm going back to bed. You can still freeze to death here because of me. Good night!" When the door was closed again, Juicey turned off the television, turned off the light and sat down on the couch again. She started to cry softly. Trunks had no idea that she had just received a call from Inspector Hamato. Who had told her that her mother had died.At that moment it didn't just seem like a stupid coincidence to Juicey. The death of Bulma and Melanie's mother, and now hers too ... There had to be something behind it. But the question was what ...
