Kidava (Piccolo's daughter) part4

Slowly I turned around ... it was Dende. This came closer and closer and finally stopped right in front of me. I looked at him sadly and couldn't hold back any longer. Unrestrained I let my feelings run free and leaned sobbing on his shoulder. Dende hugged me gently and lovingly stroked my back. The tears ran down my cheeks and I buried my face in the soft fabric of his ruff. Without saying a word, the young god stood and put his arm around me comfortingly. After a few minutes of continuous crying, I ran out of tears. Completely drained, I lay in Dende's arms and closed my eyes exhausted. Small sobs still made my body shake and I was breathing irregularly. After a while the young god looked down at me."Let's go!" he said softly and gently stroked my cheek, which was flushed from crying. He carefully grabbed me and together we flew back towards the palace. Once at the top, I saw Piccolo, sitting cross-legged, on the floor. Joanna stood a few yards behind him, leaning against a tree. I cautiously detached myself from Dende and approached my father depressed. I stopped in front of him and looked at him guiltily. "Dad? I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble!" I said softly and felt that his gaze was fixed on me. "Mmmmh!" he just growled and immediately closed his eyes again. "Let him! He just has to see that I'm right and that gnaws at him!" came the angry voice of my mother from behind the great Namek. He jumped up angrily and turned abruptly to face her. "I DON'T HAVE TO SEE ANYTHING HERE!" he grumbled loudly and glanced into her eyes. "NO? BUT I SEE IT DIFFERENTLY!" Joanna hissed back angrily and stood on tiptoe to look taller. The vein on Piccolo's temple pulsed, but suddenly he pulled my mother to him with a jerk and leaned down to her. The two sank into a passionate kiss. "Do you not even notice how embarrassing your behavior is?" I called in between and felt that I blushed slightly at the sight of the two. Without waiting for an answer, I strode into the palace, straight to my room. Here I let myself fall on my bed and let my own thoughts wander. I lay like this for an entire hour, just on the mattress and doing nothing. I couldn't even sleep because I was too confused and upset for that. After a while, I straightened up and put my feet out of bed. "I have to explain everything to Dende and him! I owe that to him, after everything he's done for me!" It passed through me and I quickly jumped up to make my way to his rooms. Once there, I knocked tentatively on his door and listened. He was actually in his room and came closer with quiet steps. Slowly he opened the door, saw me and took a step to the side so that I could enter.

"Thanks!" I whispered and entered the large, bright room. After he closed the door again, I turned to face him. "I ... I ... I wanted ..." I stuttered, not knowing how to end the sentence. Dende came up to me and looked at me with a smile. "Take it easy! Believe me, I already know!" he said affectionately and put his hand on my shoulder. I exhaled in relief ... I didn't have to explain anything! Dende took everything as it was and did not reproach me for anything! I smiled up at him gratefully and leaned against him happily. Gently caressed his hand over my shoulder ... At this moment I felt infinitely secure and enjoyed this moment to the fullest. He hugged me emotionally and pressed me lightly against his body ... and suddenly I felt this feeling again! It spread inside me and made my heart beat faster. I looked at Dende ... I had never seen him with those eyes before. He was always just a good friend to me, someone to cry out to when you had problems! ... But now ... now I saw him as more than just a good friend. My gaze wandered higher and I looked directly into his eyes, which looked at me questioningly. Slowly and hesitantly, my face came closer and closer to his own. He didn't move or push me away when my lips gently touched his mouth. I kissed him timidly and shyly ... and suddenly he returned the kiss. His hands gently caressed my back and I felt a slight tingling sensation in me. The kiss became more passionate, and when our feelers touched lightly it was as if the air crackled around us. His gentle touches kindled a hot flame in me that grew rapidly ... but suddenly I tore myself away from him, fled from the room and ran as fast as I could back to my room. Here I let myself fall desperately on the bed. "What am I doing there? What's gotten into me?" It went through me and I was suddenly stuck in a huge predicament. I loved Dende, I had just realized that, but I was also very fond of Cell! And these two were so different that nothing else could be. Dende was the god of the earth and Cell the meanest villain in hell! An excruciating moan came from my throat and I put my hands in front of my face, shaking

I didn't come to a conclusion because I was equally attracted to both of them. I got up slowly and sighed softly. "I'm going to get some fresh air, maybe I can think better there!" I thought and left the room. When I got outside, I saw Dende and Popo standing on the platform. "I won't come back until tonight! See you later!" I heard the young god say and ran quickly towards him."Where are you going?" I asked curiously and immediately blushed when Dende turned to me. "I hope he doesn't resent my sudden escape from earlier!" It passed through me and I stared at the floor, embarrassed.

"I'm going to spend a day at Namek! I've wanted to visit my old friends for a long time and today I have a good opportunity to do so!" replied Dende calmly and looked at me searchingly. My gaze wandered higher to his face and I looked him straight in the eye. "Will you take me with you? I ... I need some distance from here! Besides, I would like to know what the planet looks like that Papa and you came from." I said softly and looked at him pleadingly. "But it could get very boring for you, since I still have to talk to the Chief Elder!" said Dende, with a thoughtful undertone. "It doesn't matter! Then I'll visit Namek in the meantime! ... Please!" I begged and blushed with embarrassment."Well, if you think so, come with me!" Dende gave in and a small smile crossed his face. "Thanks!" I whispered and smiled back. Popo, who was standing by and watching this scene, couldn't help but comment. "Make you a very beautiful couple!" he said meaningfully and had to smile when Dende and I looked at each other, embarrassed. At that moment, there was a hissing sound and immediately Goku was standing next to us. "Hi everyone! There I am!" he called cheerfully and grinned broadly. "Kidava will come too!" said Dende and walked slowly towards the Sayajin. "No problem! Then come here so we can go!" he called over to me and immediately I started moving. When I got to his place, he put his hands on my shoulders and me and Dende and concentrated. It hissed once and suddenly we were on the "new planet Namek". I looked around in amazement ... There were fields everywhere in which Namekians planted trees, but otherwise everything was very bare here."See you later!" said Goku loudly and immediately disappeared through the momentary teleportation. Astonished looks were directed at me. The Namekians in the fields abandoned their work and approached curiously. A moment later, I was surrounded by them and stared at me with wide eyes. Dende's mouth twisted a little, but he said nothing. "Why do you look like a Namek?" I was asked by one of the onlookers. "Well ... my father is one!" I answered uncertainly and felt the many questioning looks on me. "But how is it that you are a woman?" came another question from behind my back. I turned around slowly. "Because I come more after my mother in this respect!" I stammered and blushed. "Your mother???" asked some astonished Namek people at the same time and stared stupidly. "Yes! She is human and my father is one of you!" I explained and didn't feel very comfortable in my skin. The men looked at me in confusion.... Silence ... "Oh, then Piccolo is your father and the girl that we brought back to earth with the Dragon Balls, your mother!" one of them blurted out and gave me a friendly smile. "It is exactly like that!" said Dende loudly and pulled me out of the circle. I looked astonished into his face and noticed that there was a very annoyed expression on this one. Behind us we heard faint whispers and I was looked after with curiosity.

We stopped in front of a large house. A Namek stood next to the entrance ... He was a warrior, you could see that in his eyes. His gaze focused on us and for a long time he looked at me. Dende apparently didn't like that at all, for he snorted softly and looked coolly at the great warrior's face. "Well? Is that a touch of jealousy?" It shot through my head and a small grin spread across my lips. Dende turned to me. "The Chief Elder lives in this house. I will go to him now!" he said seriously and glared at me.I had never seen that flash in his eyes before ... So he was really jealous because I was all alone now and only among men. It made me feel very flattered and smiled lovingly at him. The young god sighed softly and walked through the door of the building. I still felt the great Namek's gaze on me and looked up at him, embarrassed. But immediately afterwards I broke away from his questioning eyes and took off. I quickly rushed across an empty landscape in which there was hardly anything green. After a few minutes I slowed down and landed on a ledge. I sat down on the hard stone and let my legs dangle down. Sighing, I sank back and folded my arms behind my head. Above me was an endless, bright blue sky. My eyes closed and I felt the warm air brush my skin. But suddenly there were steps behind me. "Can't you leave me alone?I'm trying to relax
