Fanfic: Maiju- Die letzte Mission

better.

During the lunch break, Maiju met Jeice in the forest, where she exchanged all the news that she had heard or that concerned herself.

Then she played catch wrong with her command. The lot decided on Zen Iang as the first hunted,

as Maiju had expected, was soon captured by Nijaro. Nobody caught it so quickly - only with perseverance, patience and spit, Xanthro managed to corner and grab him after an eternity.

Maiju also took part, but held back and kept a close eye on both the hunter and the hunted.

Xanthro was tricked by Ti'aLan with a lousy feint and also caught, who in turn was caught by Chun, which led to another brawl with wonderful results, and then it was Nijaro's turn again and she held her breath until the evening.

Before Maiju let her soldiers go, she discussed in detail with them their mistakes and what she had liked about them, their strengths and weaknesses, which unfortunately still prevailed at the moment, and listened to suggestions on how to organize their training. Most of them weren't that stupid, and later she put them all in one after the other.

At first there were few or no successes, but after a few weeks the Maiju command started to improve, which was not least due to Maiju's persistence. She was right to be on good terms with her soldiers.

The only one who seemed lost on hops and malt was Dingo. After the two-month period had expired, Maiju actually had to put him on a zero diet, which he mutinied horribly. Which of course didn't help him either. Maiju checked his hiding places every day and cleared them if necessary.

Another two months and the Maiju Command set out to become one of the top commandos under Freezer's command. Maiju was completely absorbed in her role as captain and demanded everything from her soldiers, by the way, from themselves, which was ultimately the reason that they all - including Dingo - soon stood uncompromisingly behind her: she demanded from her "gang of bush thieves." "never more than she could do herself. And: they had become friends.

She did without a command signal. It was Ti'aLan who finally introduced one after a good six months.

Freezer had summoned her to be informed about her progress.Maiju reports in detail, and Freezer informed them that they should leave shortly on a trial space patrol. The goal was a system some distance away that was still largely unexplored. The Maiju Command's job would be to find out if there were planets there that were selling well. You should collect as much information as you can and then come back.

Maiju gladly accepted the assignment. Finally back out into space!

On the way to the camp, where they had to re-equip themselves for the mission, Ti'aLan asked Maiju whether she did not want a label for her command.

She answered no. "I don't even know what kind of sign to take. Everything's already taken!"

In fact, there were always disputes because one commando inadvertently used a symbol that was already used by another. She really didn't feel like doing that.

"I have an idea.If I may?"

“If you think so!” She entered the warehouse and looked for a new operational tank, handguards and a scouter from the inventory. Ti'aLan disappeared briefly into the row of shelves with the odds and ends and returned with a couple of brightly colored handkerchiefs. He held one of them in front of Maiju's nose.

"That as a scarf. How about?"

“Let's see!” Maiju grabbed the cloth and looked at it more closely. It was roughly square, with a pattern of silver and gold stripes that twisted into one another.

"Looks good! And the idea of the scarf has not yet occurred to anyone. All right. Proposal accepted!"

"Thanks!"

"And now - see that you get some armor!"

Ti'aLan stood to attention, saluted "Yes, Captain!" and marched off stiffly as a nutcracker.

Maiju made a face at him.

Then she went over to the rest of the gang and put a handkerchief into each hand.

"And what should we do with it?" asked Chun.

"Blow your nose in!"

Irritated looks.

"You tie it around your neck! That will be our command signal!"

"I thought you didn't want one?" objected Zen Long.

"I've just been taught better. The idea wasn't that stupid!"

"That's right, something like that is new ..."

“Exactly!” Maiju folded her handkerchief into a triangle, folded the edge and tied it around her neck. The others more or less followed suit.

"So what!" said Ti'aLan when he came back fully equipped. "Now we finally have a sign too!"

what do you say to scratch away, oda?
