Fanfic: Koma Teil 5
raised his eyebrows in amazement. "In what way?"
"She spurns evil and does not want to serve me. I take that as betrayal. And she stole your body ... honestly, if I were you I would be mad as hell (I thought the word was kind of good ...) than I am now ... "
Kyoko shrugged and yawned. "Well, she's my sister. I'll grant her that. Think about it ... she always had to share her body with me, even though she hated me like everyone else. I imagine it to be cruel. Then she can calmly use her new freedom of action The only thing that worries me is that there are Bulma, Vegeta, Bra and Trunks in her immediate vicinity. I don't want her to harm them. And if she hurts any other people just because she was so rarely allowed to. ..
That's what I'm worrying about. "
Kyoko buried his face in his hands and stood in silence. The man next to her brooded.
"I have an idea ..." he began. The young woman raised her head and listened with interest.
"There are a few things I know about the Lord of the Underworld ..."
Angrily, Kaori (you've known for a long time that she's not Kyoko, so I don't have to call her that) threw all of the contents of her closet onto the floor."Isn't there a single nice thing to wear in this closet ?! This woman is useless for anything. Can't even dress fancy!"
After much deliberation, she decided on a black knee-length coat, dark blue jeans and a black blouse. Dressed up like this, she went to the breakfast table. Bulma was already at the stove, doing her best to make pancakes. Most of them turned black and charred.
"Bulma, I need to talk to you," Kaori said in her saddest tone.
The woman at the stove looked up and smiled. "What is it about?"
"Better sit down." Amazed, Bulma took a seat at the table across from her daughter-in-law. Kaori took a deep breath. "It's really difficult for me now. But I think you should know that ... Vegeta is in love with me. Yesterday he confessed his love to me."
For a moment Bulma didn't seem to understand what the young woman had said. Then she slumped."That can't ... but not ... not be. It's a joke, isn't it?" She looked at Kaori hopefully, but she shook her head slowly and seriously.
A tear appeared in the corner of Bulma's eye. Kaori got up, walked around the table and gave her a big hug. "I'm so sorry. And no one wishes more than I that none of this had happened. But I couldn't keep it to myself. It's too much for you alone."
Bulma nodded. "It's okay," she managed in a tear-choked voice. "You are not to blame. Only one person is to blame for that."
Bulma rose abruptly and stomped out of the room. With an angry gesture, she wiped the tears from her face. Kaori knew where she was going. Vegeta would still curse the day he rejected her.
She took one of the slightly less scorched pancakes and ate it with relish. Then she set off too. On the way to the mountains, where a completely desperate Trunks was waiting longingly for an explanation.
"Trunks."
He raised his head in shock. Kaori smiled gently down at him. He remained seated resignedly.
"Oh. It's you," he stated, disappointed. "Haven't you hurt me enough? Do you still have to chase me now?" He asked bitterly.
"I'm here to explain everything to you," Kaori replied urgently. "Please listen to me."
Trunks got up and turned away. “I don't want to hear anything.” Then he floated higher and higher, leaving Kaori on the ground.
"Trunks! Please stay here!" Kaori noticed that these words were of no use. She made up her mind to say it, even if she loathed the words. "Trunks! I LOVE YOU!"
Trunks stopped in mid-flight. "What are you saying?"
"I love you! Trunks, come back!", Kaori shouted, trying to sound as moving as possible.
Trunks landed again. He hugged his wife stormily. "Say this is not a lie," he whispered and thick tears rolled down his cheeks."Please say you mean this."
Kaori swallowed and writhed uncomfortably in his arms. "I'm ... I'm serious. Believe me," she said.
"Thank you," Trunks replied. "But what was that in the gravity space?"
"Oh, that ... well, I went because I didn't feel like falling asleep ... I wanted to watch Vegeta train. And then he just took me in his arms and told me he loved me. And then did you come, "Kaori explained. "That's how it was. But I don't want anything from him. I only love you."
"I wouldn't have expected that from him," Trunks muttered, stunned. "I thought we'd slowly put this hostility behind us."
"Let's go back," suggested Kaori. "I think Goku and the others wanted to come today."
"Hmm ... yeah," Trunks said absently. He took one last look at the rather broken mountains, then the two flew back to the Capsule Corporation.
The two landed hand in hand on the lawn in front of the building.Bulma sat on the stairs and sobbed. Kaori hid her smile behind a hand while Trunks, worried, hurried to his mother.
"What happened?" He asked.
"V ... v ... v ..." Bulma couldn't get a word out between her sobs.
"Vegeta," Kaori began helpfully.
"G ... g ... g", Bulma tried to say something, but her tear-choked voice didn't want to produce a coherent syllable.
"Exactly?" Trunks asked.
Bulma nodded. Kaori took a handkerchief from her pocket (she had used it when she was practicing crying) and handed it to her mother-in-law. Bulma took it gratefully and blew her nose vigorously.
Then she began to say something again. This time most of it was understood.
"Vegeta ... m ... m ... broke up with me. E ... he said, I'm too stupid ... boring. * Sniffed * And while ... has ... he has me but cheated ... he ... meant ... everything ... everything is a lie ... and he ... is ... off ... off .... moved out! * sob * "
Trunks put his arm around his mother's shoulder comfortingly.
Kaori looked restlessly up at the sky. She felt the strong energies of Son Goku and his family.
A few seconds later, Son Goku, Son Gohan, Son Goten, Videl and Pan touched down on the lawn in front of the dome. They were surprised to see Bulma's tears. The situation was quickly explained to the others.
"Maybe I should talk to Vegeta," Goku mused out loud. Kaori gave a sardonic laugh.
"And you think he'll come back then? I think you overestimate your persuasive skills. Vegeta is too proud to be told by a lower-class warrior." Goku stared at Kaori, puzzled.
“Lower class warrior?” Kyoko had never said that to him before. "What's wrong?"
Kaori raised an eyebrow. "What should be?" She asked sharply. “Everything's fine.” Angry and exasperated, she turned away from the others. Trunks explained the rudeness of his wife by saying that she was very "stressed and confused" at the moment.
Finally they decided to leave Vegeta alone for the time being and instead concentrate more on the still completely dissolved Bulma.
At the Capsule Corporation there were whole truckloads of cake and coffee (understandable with so many Saiyajins). Bulma's mother had gone shopping as a precaution before she had visitors. Towards evening Trunks wanted to take a little walk in town (sometimes he went into town to pass the time on some unfortunate criminals and to relieve the police of some work).
Trunks waited until the scooter had passed him and then crossed the street. A strange feeling arose in his stomach. He felt reminded of something. The young woman standing in front of the shop window on the other side of the street, looking longingly at the wedding dresses, looked strangely familiar to Trunks. He recognized something about her demeanor. The way she smiled so sadly and ran her hands through her hair ... He didn't know why, but he got the impression she didn't even know who she was.Her hair was only about two inches long. Why should she rub her hair? She looked around nervously, looking lonely and lost.
Like Kyoko when she's scared, Trunks thought involuntarily.
At that moment she turned to him. She stared at him in disbelief. Then the realization matured in her. Shaking with joy, she ran.
"Trunks!" Shouted the young woman and sprinted across the street. "Trunks, wait!"
He looked at her in amazement. The girl threw herself into the arms of the completely perplexed young man. "I'm so happy to see you again!" She stammered and wept bitterly. "I was so scared I would be trapped on this terrible planet forever and never be able to hold you again!"
"Is there anything I can do to help you?" Trunks asked extremely surprised and freed himself from his grip. "Because I don't know you at all."
"But ..." the girl began in surprise. Then she looked down at herself. She hit her forehead with the palm of her hand.
"That's right! You can't even recognize me!" Trunks nodded eagerly.
"I'm Kyoko," said the girl, smiling gently. Trunks froze.
And how that is possible, I'll tell you next time :) If that's what you want, of course.
Have fun!
