"Why are you here Bardock?" repeated Vegeta. "That is a long story!" answered Bardock. "You know each other?" Bulma switched on now too. "Let's go into the house and I'll explain it to you." said Vegeta. So they went into the house and sat around the kitchen table. Vegeta called for Trunks, who also appeared in the kitchen shortly afterwards. Vegeta took the phone and called Goku.


"Yes, who is it?" asked a woman's voice on the other end of the line.


"It's me, Vegeta! Is Goku here?"


"Yes wait!"


“What's wrong Vegeta?” Asked Goku


"Could you come over? It's important."


Yeah, okay, I'll be there in a minute. "Goku said and hung up.In the next minute, Goku was standing next to him. (Momentary teleportation) Bardock was amazed when he saw Goku. It was no different for Goku. "He looks like me!" both shouted at the same time.


They didn't know that they were father and son. Vegeta knew that. He began to speak in Vegetian: "Well, Bardock, do you remember your son who was sent away as a baby?" "Yes, I never found out where he was sent." "He was sent to earth . But he got a hit on the back of the head and forgot his job. He grew up on earth and here he is now. "Trunks, who had learned Vegetian from his father, opened his eyes. Son Goku didn't know what was going on because he didn't understand what they had said. Now Vegeta explained to him that Bardock is his father. Goku looked at Bardock. He couldn't believe it either. Suddenly the two Saiyajins rose as if on a sign and fell into each other's arms.(Okay, I know it's silly). After the two broke up again, Vegeta asked Bardock why he was here now. Bardock began to talk. "A few years ago I suddenly woke up. I knew exactly that Frezzer had killed me. But much stranger was where I woke up. I was on Vegeta. And he wasn't destroyed anymore. I flew around a bit and found that I wasn't the only one who woke up. I flew back to the palace and the king, queen and princess were also alive again. We didn't know what had happened, but a few weeks later everything was back to normal . But your mother was not doing so well because you were no longer with her. She sent me and others to look for you. She had seen your capsule intercepted by Freezer. You feared that you were dead, but your mother but did not believe in it and sent us to look for you.And now I've finally found you. "Vegeta didn't know what to say. He just sat in his chair and couldn't believe it. His planet existed again. His family lived again too. Bulma, Trunks and Son-Goku were also stunned." I would like to ask you of me to accompany me to Vegeta. You would give your mother great pleasure. She is completely withdrawn. Only you can make them happy again. "" It all comes a little suddenly. I do not know what to do. "" I beg you, come with me. Take your place as king. Your people need you. " "That will not do. I don't want to leave my family behind. I've got used to life here. "" Then take your family and friends with you. But please come with me, for your mother's sake. "" I can't expect Bulma to do that. "" You don't have to stay there forever, but you alone are able to make your mother laugh. “Vegeta, you should go with me!” Bulma interjected."I think so too" said Goku. "Bardock give me time to think it over." said Vegeta. "Of course you should have time to think it over. As much as you need." "If you want you can stay with us as long as you want. Your dragon can also stay here." said Bulma.




Vegeta left the house and Goku followed him. They flew back to the clearing where Yoshi lived. The dragon immediately noticed that something was wrong. Vegeta conveyed what had happened to him. "What should I do Yoshi?" asked Vegeta. The dragon sent him an encouraging thought. “Don't you think it would be better to go with Bardock?” “Yes, maybe, but I would miss you.” “He said that you don't have to stay there forever. And I would like to come with you for a while and I think you should others would come too. It would be great for Trunks to get to know his paternal grandparents. "" I think so too, "they heard a voice behind them. It was Trunks who followed them."You are probably right," said Vegeta.




The next day everyone met in the palace of God and Vegeta told what had happened. "I'll go with Bardock and Goku, Trunks and Bulma will come too."


"We want to go too," shouted Goten and Gohan, who were absolutely delighted with their grandfather.


Bardock said: "You can all come with us, there is enough space."


The others wanted to come too, Chichi was not enthusiastic about the idea, but then agreed, with the reason that she had to take care of her family.


"We'll be able to start in three weeks," said Bardock.




Vegeta and Trunks had not given up their plan to take part in the kite tournament, as Bulma was now also convinced of the friendliness of a kite. Of course she knew it was dangerous, but she was convinced that the dragons would protect Vegeta and Trunks. Bardock wanted to take part too.



The day of the tournament had come and the three participants were busy with the final preparations. Everyone wanted to see the tournament.


The tournament began. Yoshi had to go into the arena first. His opponent was also a black one and he was quite experienced. He knew a lot of tricks and knew many of Yoshi's attacks. He attacked yoshi, but he too knew a lot of his techniques. The two dragons whirled through the arena, striking each other with their claws. When Yoshi hit the other with his Lancea (double claw), a torrent of corrosive dragon blood splashed into the audience. The audience screamed and ran frantically. Vegeta had to smile but then concentrated on the fight again. He gave Yoshi the order to attack the others with a flamethrower, as he was just neglecting his cover to prepare a flamethrowing himself. The two streams of flame collided and there was an explosion.Vegeta ordered Yoshi to increase his speed to ram his opponent. That worked too and the other dragon was thrown against the wall. He was trapped. With his back to the wall, he couldn't withstand Yoshi's attacks for long.
