wet sand. I turned my head and looked right in the face of my rescuer. An old man with many wrinkles and a smile on his face came into view. His face was tanned from the weather and the wind. Next to the guy was a little girl with dark hair. When she realized that I had noticed her, she clung anxiously to the old man's right leg. This one was small and leaned on a gnarled walking stick. The girl was about seven years old and couldn't possibly be Grandpa's child. But the two had one thing in common, they had the same sharp canine teeth, but in contrast to Drecul's, these were much more harmless. The grandfather also had a thick beard and a bald head.
"Hello you, are you okay?" he asked, running his free hand through his beard. With the staff he pointed to my wounds, which were present in large numbers.
"That'll be over in a few days. In the long run, we vampires can only be hurt by silver!"
I lowered my gaze to the man's polished boots and was startled. My face was reflected in the lacquered leather. The blood froze in my veins. The image I saw was indescribable, my skin had become lighter and my eyes were shaded. Deep eye sockets suggested severe weight loss. Nevertheless, every gram was still as it was before. The cheek cavities were also more pronounced than before. The mouth was strangely red. The contrast to the rest of the face could be seen immediately. Now I opened my mouth in astonishment. The same canine teeth as the others could not be overlooked. With a pounding heart, I swallowed and finally asked, rather shakily:
"This is me?"
I woke up in the old man's hut. The crisp white feather bed I was lying on didn't feel soft at all. It was cold.Hard and firm. Like I slept on a board. To my right was a dark ebony clothes rack on which a black coat hung. Further back in the room was a coat of arms with a fire-breathing bat on it. The coat of arms had been painted on a shield, behind which two crossed broadswords were attached. The left wall was covered with skulls of vampires. These had to be trophies from the great wars of the old days. The canines looked longer and creepier than Grandpa's teeth. A resemblance to Drecul could not be ruled out. Next to the thick door was a shelf with books and scrolls. The dry, yellowish paper reminded me of times long past. The books seemed dusty, while the scrolls were gilded and shimmered mysteriously in the light that fell through a window in the ceiling. I looked back at the coat. It was the clothes the bouncer had been wearing. What if this one found me? In a flash I realized that I wasn't safe here. I got up quickly and walked over to the coat. Casually I slipped it on and took a step towards the cupboard, then I picked up a scroll and slipped it into my pocket without noticing it. whispered a voice in my head, but I stopped paying attention to it and concentrated on my equipment. My eyes fell on the coat of arms. One thought occurred to me: safety! The sword on the wall seemed just right to me. I buckled it on my back and jumped to the door. I had to get away from here as quickly as possible. Only now did I remember the day before, I had looked in the bathroom mirror and wondered why I looked like that, pale. I only got this color when I saw the shadows for the first time. How could they turn me into a vampire? The transformation process must have proceeded very slowly, as I had only recognized the decisive features later. It just happened, without pain, without anything in return. Or was this world perhaps the service in return? In my subconscious I had to choose between human and vampire. I got involved in the latter and I had to master this life.
I opened the heavy iron-studded door and a bright light came towards me. In order not to be blinded, I held my arms protectively in front of my face. I must have been in the vampire world. The vampire world probably worked like a battery charger. If I was in the vampire world, I had almost infinite power as a vampire, but if I was outside I was vulnerable. I stepped right through the door and disappeared in the glaring light.
When I was outside and turned around, instead of the hut there was a pile of stones and splintered wooden beams. In some places they were overgrown with moss. Something glittered between the rubble. I moved some stones and rolled them aside.A golden ring lay intact in the dust. I pulled it up, cleaned it, and held it up to the light. A fire-breathing bat could be seen on the front. It was carefully engraved on the ring. It looked very much like the ring the girl had worn on her hand yesterday. I hadn't noticed it yesterday. I put the ring on my finger imploringly and waited. Nothing happened.
I felt a lot weaker here than in the hut. That came because I had left the vampire world and was back in the human world. So I could only do something against the vampires in the real world. The remains of the hut stood on a red cliff above the waves. The sea thundered against the stone as if it were a drum and it was a mallet. The broadsword felt a lot heavier now than before. I shook my head. The whole thing seemed pretty weird to me. I ran down the slope into the forest to protect myself more easily from the dangers of the air.If you stepped on the grass, it gave way immediately. It was very tall green, completely overgrown and there was no sign of any care. When I reached the forest I had to breathe because the weight of the broadsword pulled me to the ground. Why wasn't there a lighter sword, or at least a knife, in this hut? I propped myself up on a tall fir tree and dug out the scroll, which I had so far neglected completely.
The letters were strange and indecipherable, yet I understood the text in a strange way and let myself be carried away by their magic. I repeated the formula quietly and felt a huge force break out in me and intensify more and more. My eyes began to blaze like fire. My mind and heart screamed no, but my instinct drove me to speak the formula over and over again. I got louder and louder until it turned into a scream. Now I tensed up in a bundle of sheer strength. The broadsword didn't seem to weigh anything and I just ignored it. I was getting hot and getting hotter, it almost seemed to me as if I was glowing. All of my strength was released at once in a huge shock wave of energy. The bushes and trees caught fire in a flash and crumbled to ashes as if on command. The shock wave spread like a gigantic explosion in all directions. The ring began to glow and burn more and more. The hot metal burned my skin and ate like acid. The pain ravaged me and I tried to pull the ring off, but I had to maintain the rearing pose until everything around me turned to ashes. One attempt after another failed me. My powers dwindled and fled to help the destructive work of magic. It wasn't the magic that needed help, but me. I passed out and my sense of balance failed. The strength had evaporated and left me alone under the weight of the broadsword.I sank weakly. The coat was lowered a little. Desperate and turning my head, I looked for my hand. What I saw was a bony hand, a skeleton, a hand that belonged to a dead person. The gold ring was on the bone of the ring finger. The fire-breathing bat symbol glowed bright red. Then the glow faded and I passed out.
When I came to I was lying in a heap of ash. There were quite a few of this kind here. There were also burning branches and charred trunks, black stones and the like. I couldn't even imagine I had done this destruction. It was as big as after a nuclear explosion. First I dug in the ashes for the scroll. My search has been long and in vain. I looked under every pile, but it was not under any.
Tired of searching, I sat on the dusty ground and stared at the sky. Driven by the wind, the clouds passed by up there. The sun sank behind the horizon and it got dark. Stars should have been shining, but the clouds still obscured their splendor. Only a blood-red moon was visible in the sky. The blood moon, in the vampire bible it is called magic. He is even said to have magical powers.
When the moon bleeds
a new vampire lord will be born.
He becomes the reborn soul of Dracula
Hide in yourself.
He will still be a child when he gets control of the vampire kingdom,
but his spirit and his strength,
But his mind and power will be like a vampire god!
That was the text from the vampire bible. It was a saying on the parchment. It was a prophecy of the victory of the vampires over humans. I shuddered. Drecul had a son. When I had blown everything up here, I told him where I was staying.
To tell my whole life story would be far too time-consuming as it is very long. You might have guessed that by looking at me like that. I myself no longer know exactly how old I am. But I have to help you in spite of my old age. I also have a brother, by the way, his name is Tom. Our last name is not known because our parents abandoned us! Oops, now I'm going to tell you my story. Well, you'll be asking at some point anyway.
So when we were found in the forest, there were two peasant women who were doing this, came to an argument. The one peasant woman named Hilda, Tom wanted. Unfortunately she got me! The other farmer, Zelda, wanted me! What do you think they were doing? "Thomas asked me, blinking.
"Uh, they swapped you guys?" I answered a bit miserably.
"No, they smashed each other's heads. A stupid bunch of them! I'll tell you. However, I don't know if this is the truth, because only my stepfather told me that.
So while we were lying there, a young couple came along and took us with them.Just our new parents. When we were 6 years old, they split up and each took a child. I ended up with my dad and was raised! I haven't seen Tom since! He probably lives somewhere
