Fanfic: Die Rückkehr eines Volkes [3]

Chapter: The return of a people [3]

"End ...", Vegeta remarked and shot before Trunks had recovered. Goku closed his eyes. There was a hiss in the air and he felt that the ball was moving away from him again. With a crash she hit the covers while Goku tried to regain his concentration. Suddenly he noticed two new auras. One source of energy was apparently right in front of him.

“What the-?” Vegeta was confused. A figure had actually leaned over Goku who could well pass as his doppelganger. However, the new fighter wore a combat suit like Vegeta had worn earlier.

More and more power flowed back into Goku's body until he finally opened his eyes in amazement. "Now I'm 100% dead ...", Goku stated and stood up, "there is my doppelganger above me!" In fact, he was not wrong either. Except for a scar on the left cheek and the red headband, everything worked out perfectly.

It fell like scales from Vegeta's eyes. Naturally! How could he have been so stupid all these years? It had always been a mystery to him that it seemed to him that he had known Goku forever! And his father was really like him in every detail! No wonder! The first Saiyajin his father had involuntarily introduced him to (he had seen her having a real argument in one of the halls of the castle) had been bardock. The one who advised his father to leave the planet three days before Freezer's attack !!! Why hadn't that occurred to him earlier?

But before Vegeta could notice anything, a second voice echoed from a corner: "Bardock! What are you doing?" It didn't sound happy. "Yes, should I let my last son die?", The Saiyajin asked about Goku, "then the respect ends!"

Trunks withdrew to Goten and tried to wake him. That sounded a lot like a generation quarrel. He didn't want to disturb, especially since his best friend wasn't exactly popular with his father.

Goku's rescuer looked furiously in the middle of the room, where Vegeta was still standing and trying to collect energy without causing a stir. A few moments later, a final flash destroyed the support column. Goku had grabbed Bardock and teleported away.

Vegeta turned to Goku while Bardock was busy with another Saiyajin who had stepped out of the shadows. The two argued eagerly in a foreign language, which resulted in their falling into each other.

"You still haven't died!" Vegeta smiled with a look at his opponent's right arm. Goku laughed too at first, but then glanced at his son and then at the blanket, which was slowly crumbling apart. "Let's end this ..." Goku suggested with a frozen face. Vegeta frowned contemptuously. "Scared?" He asked. "You'd like to have one! Now look at our sons! If the room here collapses in the next two minutes-" "- your son will die and mine will only be injured. Why should I do that? "" Don't be stupid, Vegeta! ", Goku tried again," There is no point! "Nobody said anything for a while. Goku just looked blankly at Vegeta and Vegeta looked back with hatred. He sighed." All right. But there will be revenge in five days! And pressing does not apply so that this is clear! "he agreed. Goku smiled." Thanks Vegeta! I'll take the boys and you try those! "He pointed with his left arm at the occasional picture of the two fighting Saiyajin. Vegeta shook his head." I can't stand that about you either: As soon as you are out of the line of fire, you start to determine again ... ", he grinned and pointed to the arm that hung uselessly in the area," Don't get hung up like that!

"Coming out of the hall" was not that easy. For one thing, Bardock and the other couldn't be torn apart, and for another, more and more stones fell from the ceiling onto the six. In the end they managed to get out of the ship in time (as always ;-).They now stood relieved in the night sky. That is, Trunks, Son-Goten, Goku and Bardock. Vegeta had run away with the other Saiyajin. Goku let out a breath. "He almost killed me ...", he remarked. Bardock nodded. "His father often almost did that to me too ... But to be killed by Freezer wasn't particularly sensible either!" "So that was Vegeta's father?" "Hey! Don't we want to go maybe?" Suggested Trunks. "Yeah right ...", Goku muttered. They were already gone.

Goku quietly opened his front door. Everything was quiet and dark, so he carefully waved Goten and Bardock in. This could not understand the whole secrecy. After all, he hadn't heard from ChiChi! "Psst!" Goten warned his grandpa as they crossed the dark kitchen. Just as they entered the hallway, Gohan peeked out of Goten's room with his glasses and tried to explain something to the others in sign language. While Bardock looked confused from one to the other, but kept his mouth shut, Goku whispered back: "Sorry! But I only understand train station ..." Goten looked at his brother carefully. He looked almost as if he had spent a stressful long evening convincing ChiChi that everyone would come back safe and sound, because a plaster was pulled over his right cheek. He hit his forehead with his hand and pointed to the kitchen door again. Son-Goku was about to turn around when he was hit on the back of the head. "One more bump ..." At first he couldn't see anything in the gloom until his wife's wrinkled face stepped out of the shadows. “Oh, oh!” Goten also turned around, but then decided differently and noticed that Gohan had already disappeared again.

"Always on the Omme ...", Goku stated with a grin (his way of lightening the mood). "Or on the arm ...", ChiChi replied.Every fiber of her face seemed tense.

Goten stood behind Bardock as unnoticed as possible. However, he understood absolutely nothing. "What's going on here?" He asked softly. He shouldn't have asked that in a whisper, because ChiChi was now angry. "Have you fought again?" When there was no answer, she stuck her index finger in Goku's chest. "What was it this time?", She hissed, "A LIZARD? A pink MONSTER ?? AN ALIEN ??? A MAGICIAN ???? Another SAIYAJIN ???? Or just a total FULL IDIOT who doesn't look so STRONG, how he IS ???? "" So ... Well! ", Goku stammered, still grinning and scratching his head. "So that's really the HEIGHT!", She continued to moan, "Why can't you just live and work normally ?! So I am ..." It got louder and louder. "MAMA !!!", she was interrupted in her flow of speech by her son, who had just ventured out from behind Bardock's back, "You wake up the neighbors!"Sparkling anger, she looked at him." The ... neighbors ... ", she said slowly and threateningly," Live ... just under ... 3 miles from here !!! "Goten wasn't sure if the distance could really block the screaming, but still remained silent. ChiChi was just about to top it off when she forcibly recognized Bardock's outline in the gloom. ", she poisoned her husband and switched on the light. What she saw then made her take a few steps back on the spot." Who- who is that now? ", she asked uncertainly." Well, that's your father-in-law ... "" One more ... ", she didn't get any further. Already she fell over. Goten rolled his eyes in annoyance and looked around for his brother for help. but who had already searched the distance.

The faint only lasted until Goku carried his wife onto the sofa. There she woke up (what a miracle) pretty much immediately, but before she could scold any more, her gaze fell on Goku's arm."My God!", She sobbed and clapped her hands in her face, "What did you do?" "Oh nothing ...", Goku denied and hid his arm as best he could under the remains of his battle suit. She didn't have to know that Bulma's husband had gone crazy again. That's why he endured the little tugging. Now he too glanced uncertainly at his arm. He really didn't look particularly good: there wasn't the slightest sign of a right sleeve, the upper arm, where the energy had hit, was completely covered in blood and the rest of the arm was not in particularly good shape either. And, if he really admitted it to himself, it hurt like hell with every touch and movement. "Let's see!", ChiChi insisted. There was no sign of a tantrum.

"What a change of heart!" Marveled Bardock, who preferred not to get too close to his son's wife. Goten had left the adults alone, although he probably couldn't avoid his sermon forever.

"Everything is really okay, ChiChi!", Goku assured him and pulled his arm out of the line of fire. "Well, then I can touch it!" Smiled ChiChi. Goku made a face and thrust his arm out. ChiChi carefully felt the arm. Goku gritted his teeth. Her fingers burned like hell. If he could get his hands on Vegeta ... ChiChi's face turned serious. "There's a lot going on!", She explained, "first you broke something again and then the wound is really nice and hot. Vegeta, I guess!" Goku's eyes widened. "How to!" ChiChi continued to talk. “Don't you have any more beans ??” “Tomorrow!” They were prevented from continuing their conversation by a two-part grumble. "Great ...", ChiChi sighed, "Two Saiyajin stomachs in the middle of the night ..."

"Tell me, Kakarott ..." Bardock had crossed his arms and looked at the low wall. Goten stood up indignantly: "Why do some people call Son-Goku Son-Goku and others call it Kaka ... um things ... you know!"

The three Saiyajins had been banished to the attic because Goku had not kept his promise not to fight each other anymore. According to ChiChi, he once again barely jumped death and with luck.

Bardock rose too. "Counter question! How did you come to call him Son-Goku?", He asked belligerently. Then Goten didn't know what to say and lay back on his couch, which squeaked dangerously. He had actually gone through the discussions with Vegeta a few times when he asked again about his father's progress. Goten did not get a satisfactory answer there either.

"What did you want to say?" Asked Goku. "How long have you been living with Vegeta? I mean, it's not an easy life when you have to expect to be killed every
