His mind wandered into the past. Kazuri thought of his time when he served as an advisor at the court of King Junta. He was the most senior magician in the country and had access to the sacred scrolls. One day, while studying these ancient traditions, he noticed a special text. In it all possibilities that the chalice possessed were listed.It was very astonishing what tremendous powers this mystical object possessed. So it wasn't just there to protect life in Majunga. It could also give or take life, create or destroy worlds. Then Dabura had decided to take the chalice into his possession. He had everything planned and his plan was almost perfect. So he went to the Himatori Temple and came across the two miko priestesses, who were actually there to protect the princess. The priestesses tried in vain to stop the magician. Dabura steadfastly carried out his plan. Then he finally had the goblet in his hands. But then something went wrong. While trying to escape to the other world, a mistake had happened with the spell. He had been briefly distracted and when he woke up in Tokyo, the goblet was no longer there. So Dabura had sneaked into the Institute for Antiquities under the name Kazuri Shinma so that he would know immediately when he appeared again.Then finally within a month the time had come. A group of archaeologists had excavated in South Korea on behalf of the National Museum. It was there that Keiichi Kudo found the chalice. That discovery had promoted him to director. Dabura had taken his chance and with the help of his magical powers made Keiichi docile. Mind control was perfect and nobody noticed. Dabura was satisfied, soon he could finally reach his goal. The only thing that could stop him now was the princess herself. As a descendant of the royal house, she could use the chalice without any effort. With elven blood flowing in her veins, she had even more magical powers than Dabura. He hoped Maya would never discover these powers. Otherwise all was lost for him. The intercom on his desk hummed, bringing Kazuri back to the present. He was not allowed to behave conspicuously and had to maintain his disguise.
Maya wasn't sure why she was taking out her mother's jewelry box today. Her fingers slipped sadly over the lid. She unconsciously hoped for a few answers. The girl had the feeling that the floor had been torn from under her feet. So much had happened in the past month. What was truth and what was fantasy? She didn't know. What she least believed, however, was that she should be a princess. She had no memories of that. But she could remember the time in Germany very well, but had she really experienced the time? She should find out the truth soon. The girl opened the lid with a queasy feeling. Inside were old photos. In these pictures you can see her father Keiichi, a young woman, an approximately 11 year old girl and an approximately 8 year old boy. She took a closer look at the photos, except for her father she didn't know any of the people. Maya rummaged around in the pictures a little longer, but only these four people were in all of the photos.That was very strange. The girl was as good as unpacking the box when she found a silver hand mirror. She had never seen him before and yet she knew him from somewhere. Maya took it in hand and looked at her reflection. Suddenly the picture changed and her mother looked at her lovingly.
"Maya, my beloved daughter, I can finally see you again. I would have liked to have saved you all the grief that you have experienced over the past month, but that was beyond my power. It was even necessary, as it is part of your fate. When you were sent here by your father, your fiancé and I followed you. We wanted to protect you in any case. That's when we met the archaeologist Keiichi Kudo.
