pictures that Conn drew and he only let his father take him to preschool. Anyone could pick him up. The little one was intelligent, however, he clearly got that from her. The preschool teacher had already made the suggestion to enroll Conn in a highly gifted school, but Bulma wasn't sure yet.
Finally she brushed all the thoughts aside with a shake of her head and went back to her bedroom. Vegeta was lying on his side of the large bed, arms folded behind his head. "Well? What was going on?" He asked, yawning. Bulma sat down in her bed. "The usual." And she turned off the light.
Cetherine still held little Conn in her arms and rocked him like a baby. “So, you're not talking about your dreams?” She felt him shake his head, but then he said, “Only with you, water woman!” Cetherine paused. "Water woman? How do you get that?" Conn said: "I saw you in a dream. Well, not you, but I ran into the water woman's arms and then I was with you."
Cetherine smiled. "Tell me about your water woman.", She asked him and Conn started, without realizing it, to talk about his dream. He told of the eyes and hands that chased him and of the water woman. Finally he started to yawn and fell asleep in Cetherine's arms. She put him gently back in his pillow and pushed the hair back from his forehead. Little boy, you don't know what your dreams mean. , she thought with a smile. Carefully she got up and left the room as well.
She tiptoed back into Bra's room. The room was only lit by a candle that was almost burned down. Cetherine went to the window and looked out. Behind her, Bra coughed in his sleep but didn't wake up. Wearily, Cetherine looked up at the stars. Mother Earth no longer had a moon since some lunatic had to blow it up. She remembered grimly the chaos within the forces of nature that this event had conjured up. She closed her eyes and smiled. They had mastered it anyway.
Cetherine turned again. Bra's peaceful face was only dimly lit, dark shadows on her eyes and lips.Cetherine went quietly to the sofa and sat down on it. She didn't feel like sleeping, so she leafed through a new book in the light of the candle. But the words did not find access to her, because Cetherine's thoughts returned to Conn. Did she hit the mark the first time? Was it him or was it? Maybe he was just going overboard, but when she looked at the rest of the family that way, it seemed a little out of place. She had to convince him to show her the pictures, but that didn't seem like a problem.
Bra coughed again. Cetherine looked up. The other tossed around restlessly in bed, so she got up and walked over to her. She put a reassuring hand on the younger man's hot forehead. Bras' fever seemed to have risen and the poor girl was fantasizing. She rolled from side to side and groaned restlessly. Cetherine concentrated on her hands and put them back on Bra's hot head. Her fingers radiated cold, fresh cold. Bra calmed down a bit, but the fever stayed high. Cetherine was still thinking about waking Bulma and Vegeta when the door swung open and the latter stepped in.
Vegeta turned on the light and gave Cetherine a suspicious look. She smiled. "I was just about to come over to you. The fever has risen again, maybe we should get the doctor." Vegeta scowled, Bulma pushed herself into the room and sat down next to Bra on the bed. "You said it was just a little cold!", She confronted Cetherine, who could only quickly interject: "We thought so too!", Before Bulma continued to rail: "I had counted on that it's not bad! I work 22 hours, can't you even rely on your children anymore? "She turned around. “Vegeta, why don't you have your eye on her?” He just growled, “She's old enough.” Bulma stood up with a sigh."I'll call the doctor."
Less than ten minutes later the family doctor of the Briefs rolled over and after another ten minutes the ambulance's blue lights flashed across the street and the front yard. The doctor had determined that the sudden rapid deterioration in Bra’s condition was not due to the common cold, but to food poisoning. Something in the soup didn't seem to have been fine.
The ambulance thundered through the night. Vegeta and Bulma went with them, Cetherine stayed behind with Conn and the grandparents, because Trunks had already left for Son Goten that evening.
