Chapter: Foggy nights * scary * 4
The time has come ... Now it starts to get serious!
@ gray-eye: Well, hopefully your lip has healed again! (And please lay out a handkerchief for this part to wipe up the blood that you shed in this part * laughs *) But maybe this part is not that exciting either ... ;-)
Oh yes, because of short picking !!! You write comments for so long that they are almost whole stories !!! (Wow)
@ VegetaW17: yes yes, Gohan is a cute guy! Sure he would sacrifice himself. He has a pure heart * languishes *! Thanks for the picking!
@ Aika-Angel: Well, we have something in common! (All Piccolo fans shout "Here"!) * G *. It's true that most FF's are about Trunks or Veggi, but if you're lucky or looking for something, you can also find some with Picco! (As in my * smile *)
@Kira_w: That was also a spontaneous idea: I once thought how great it would be to dream of Piccolo * cough *
And now I've done that (in a weird way!)
Phew, I've talked enough now! And now, sit back and enjoy:
Part 4. of Foggy Nights
He wasn't here!
I looked around searching. Where was that piccolo ??? My eyes peered into the darkness of the huge corridor in which I was now. You couldn't tell how long it was. Don't even guess. This black hole swallowed every tiny bit of light. I looked carefully over my shoulder. Here, too, everything was plunged into deep darkness. Only next to me, on the wall, a small torch flickered incessantly and cast vivid shadows on the ramshackle stone walls. For a split second the reddish fire flared up, although there wasn't the slightest draft here.
It was that time again! The nightmare began!
With trembling fingers I reached for the burning torch and pulled it out of its rusty holder. My hand gripped the small light source tightly. Maybe Piccolo was somewhere else in that dream! I had to look for him!
Slowly, careful not to make a sound with every step, I continued down the black corridor. How did he actually want to save me? That old woman hadn't mentioned it!
While I pondered my thoughts, I watched, with a slight shiver, many dancing shadows that my flickering torch left on the gray, crumbling walls. In some places the floor began to shine wet under my feet. I stepped carefully on the damp stone surface. Foul-smelling water oozed from the thin cracks in the gray walls. Small, shimmering drops fell to the ground at regular intervals. In front of me in the black hole of the corridor there was a barely audible rustling! Piccolo? Or maybe ...?
My heart pounded, I stopped and stared uncertainly into the oppressive darkness.
A sudden loud bang from my torch broke the silence like a blank shot. Glowing sparks exploded as another drop of water fell into the hot flame. I winced, scared to death. The glowing torch slipped out of my sweaty hand and splashed into a shimmering pool of water. For a split second I saw white smoke rising before the last glow of the burning wood went out. Any contours of the walls disappeared into complete darkness ... silence ...
Fearfully, I took a big step to the side. Immediately my hands touched the damp stone wall. Breathing hectically, I pressed my back against the hard, cold rock and listened ...
Nothing! It was so quiet you could even hear the silence.
"Feel the Pain!" hissed a rough voice right at my ear. A harsh scream escaped me. Obsessed with terrible panic, I pushed myself away from the wall to start running. But it was too late!
I was thrown back with tremendous force and hit the hard rock unchecked. A slight dizziness seized me, with the black veil of oblivion. I fought desperately against the impending unconsciousness. But some of the black veil remained and flowed together into a huge dark figure that towered over me. Despite the intense darkness, this being seemed to be even blacker than the deepest darkness. Something warm and damp ran down my face. Blood!
A pale hand grabbed me and pressed me against the stony ground with relentless force. Bones cracked. I knew it was mine!
I tried helplessly to brace myself against this pressure with my hands, feeling that the skin of my fingers was torn from the rough ground.
A low whimper escaped me when suddenly the terrible pressure was relieved and my entire body was flooded with pain. But I didn't have time to relax. Instead, the figure jerked me around so that I had to look directly into the deep hole in the hood. A chalk white hand closed around my neck and slowly pulled me up, closer and closer to this dark hole ...
At that very moment it broke out of me ... With an aggressive scream, I thrust my outstretched fingers into the great hood of the dream guardian! My fingernails took hold of something soft, almost spongy, and clung to it. Gritting my teeth, I continued to dig it into this slimy ... something!
A dull gasp and gasp came from the hole. It felt like the skin was pounding under my fingers. But suddenly, with an abrupt movement, the figure tore me away from itself and threw me into the corridor. The skin of the palm of my hand burned as if I had dipped into caustic acid. I didn't mind!
I got up swaying and ran! This infinitely dark corridor lay in front of me and I ran the risk of running hard against a suddenly appearing wall in the dark. I didn't care! I wanted to get away ... just get away!
The sound of my footsteps echoed loudly on the stone floor. So I couldn't hear if I was being followed either. But I was sure that it had to be like that! Actually, I only had to turn my head briefly to look back. Even in this darkness, the dark figure should have stood out clearly. I didn't dare!
Thousands of needles pricked my lungs with every deep breath. A small tear rolled down my cheek. Had it been so terrible for this dead law student? The photo of the smiling young man appeared in my mind's eye ...
At exactly the same moment a pale grayish light appeared, some distance away, in the middle of the black corridor, and drew all of my attention to it.I ran towards it as fast as I could! ...Light!!!
It was strange, the closer I got, the heavier my legs became. Like lead. That back there, it wasn't normal light! The contours of a person emerged in the bright glow! ... piccolo?
No. The figure was too small for that! The clearer and more visible the outlines of the person revealed, the more uncomfortable I became. She clearly had her back to me. Looked into the black darkness. And then, when I was only ten meters away from her, the figure turned its head around ...
My blood ran cold in my veins and I almost cried out in horror. All color drained from my face as I staggered a few more steps and then stopped in shock. I stared at the young man with wide eyes. He looked terribly battered! His eyes pierced me with expressionless looks, but he said nothing. And then I recognized him: the dead law student !!!
An icy shiver ran through me. I only recognized him by his hairstyle, because the dead man's face was so disfigured that it no longer looked human! But what was he doing here in my dream?
And then, as if he had guessed my thoughts, he floated backwards and further into the corridor ...
"Don't leave me here alone!" I thought in a panic and ran after him. But he was way too fast! At the last moment I could still see his light turning into the right path at a three-part junction. Without thinking twice, I followed him! This walk did not want to end either. Panting, I ran through this dark cave, feeling how the fear again and again penetrated my body.
With a horrified cry, I hit something soft! I thrashed around in panic. "No, not!" I called out loud.
A large hand grabbed my arm and pressed me against the stone wall. "Please be quiet!Or do you want the monster to find you! "Growled a deep voice. For a split second I stood paralyzed against the wall until I realized who was standing there! That creepy guy who was supposed to save me! ... Piccolo!
I immediately grabbed his hand, which was pressing me lightly against the wall, and clung to the tall man's arm. As strange as it was, at that moment I would have even hugged the devil himself! Piccolo seemed more than surprised by my exuberant attachment ... he almost stumbled in shock!
But then he opened his other hand, in which was a light blue shimmering crystal ball. The calming light illuminated our immediate surroundings with a soft glow. Now I could see the man next to me. He looked into the shining light with serious eyes. "I couldn't follow up immediately. Uranai Baba still had to give me this crystal. It is full of positive energies! If you throw this thing in the guard's face, the bullet will explode and discharge its positive energy. If he gets it, he'll die ... it's that simple! "Piccolo said dully.
A chill ran down my spine. The monster's face ... that disgusting spongy flesh! I slowly raised my right hand and looked at it. It actually looked like I had reached into acid! Large, swollen burn blisters were visible on the reddened skin.
"So you met him while I was back here looking for you!" Piccolo murmured darkly. I quickly dropped my hand and looked up at the tall man. He looked at me with a frown. His eyes fixed on my forehead. Irritated, I wiped the area with the back of my hand and only now noticed the severely bleeding laceration. I had to look awful. At that moment it came back to me: "Where did this law student go?He should have stopped by here! Have you seen him? "I asked my neighbor. The person addressed looked at me as if the dream guardian had not only corroded my hand, but also my brain! But before Piccolo could reply, a slight rustling made me startled. And it it wasn't just any rustling, it was that one rustling
