The separation and persecution

They did it. Inuyasha stood before his friends, bleeding heavily and panting. He had defeated and killed Naraku. The splinters were now united again. But Inuyasha didn't know anymore whether he should become a demon with it. The only thing he wanted was to be with Kagome. It had become clear to him that he loved Kagome more than Kikyou. Kikyou had sacrificed himself in battle for Inuyasha and had thus returned to nirvana. She had found her peace. She had seen that Inuyasha can only be happy with Kagome and she wanted him to be happy. But they didn't want Kagome to stay with Inuyasha who loved him too. She and Kinako were brought into their time by some force. Although she still had the Shikon no tama with her, she could no longer go through the fountain into the Middle Ages and Inuyasha could no longer go into the present either. Kinako couldn't go back in time with her magical powers either. A higher power held them back. But why? And were they forever separated?

That happened 5 years ago

Kagome and Kinako are now 20 and study at the same university. Kagome studied law and politics where Kinako studied science and history. Kinako had become a very powerful witch and was still hunting demons. Kagome was also able to use her powers of a miko and guarded the Shikon no tama which some demons wanted during this time, but of course neither would allow that. But they couldn't really cope with the sudden end of their friendship with those from the Middle Ages. Kagome in particular suffered because she missed Inuyasha so much and couldn't even tell him that she loved him.

Both went to school to do a lot to each other with their choice of studies. "What did I choose? I shouldn't have chosen law and certainly not politics" Kinako had to laugh. "Is it your own fault, you chose this?" Kinako had made a good choice. She got along very well with her studies. She probably had to do that with her strength, including being able to see into the future. She could see into the future whenever she wanted. She had already tried to predict whether they would ever see Inuyasha and the others again. Vain. Either nothing understandable or nothing came out.

They were now sitting in different rooms because they had different subjects.Kagome was always bored. Sometimes she was really happy when demons attacked and Kinako then needed her help. Most of the time, her thoughts were elsewhere. She mostly thought back to the time when they were still looking for the Shikon no tama with the others. Kinako was no different. However, she was also able to watch the lessons on the side. Kagome had devoted himself to writing and mostly wrote stories about couples that were very similar to Inuyasha's relationship with her. Kinako actually devoted himself to art. Both had a gift for interest. Kinako often drew, what often means here, only pictures of Inuyasha and co.

Kinako was somehow not doing so well today. She could barely hear the voice of the teacher standing in front of the desk. She looked at the door and who was there in the door frame? She really saw Inuyasha standing in the doorway. But he looked terrible. Overlooked by many wounds from which blood was dripping. So much flowed that a large puddle formed on the ground. He lost way too much blood. Actually he should already tip over with the lack of blood, but he stayed there unchanged. She heard a voice calling in the distance. But she could not reach this. Suddenly someone hit her place with a stick. Now she looked up and she saw the angry teacher who had hit her place with the pointer. "Nice that you give us your attention again, Miss Hazanka," said the teacher sarcastically. "Um, I'm sorry, I was lost in thought" The teacher now went back to his table and continued with his gibberish. Kinako looked at the door again. But nobody was standing there anymore. And blood was no longer to be seen either.

Kinako went straight to Kagome during the break. She told her that she had seen Inuyasha. "Really, and you are sure you didn’t imagine that?" "Very sure" "Was it a vision?" Kinako shook her beautiful head."No, I think more he tried to contact me through the time"

After school they went to Kinako's house. She inherited it from her late parents. It was enchanted that her parents were magicians as much as they were. Kinako looked for Thelapatie because it was clear to her that it was not her imagination. "Hey Kagome, I found something." she read from the book. "Only powerful beings are capable of thelapatie. It goes through... Um that is not important... Blablabla... Ah yes thelapatie can almost only be carried out by witches, magicians or demons. Other beings are usually not able to do so This person must also be pure-blood, otherwise the therapy will be seen incorrectly or not at all. "" What do you mean, pure blood? "Kinako looked up. "Well that just means that you are not allowed to be mixed. So with different beings. So not Inuyasha he is mixed with demon and human. So he can't have sent it to us." Kagome sighed sadly. She had hoped that she could see him again now but this wish burst. Then Kagome got an idea. "Kinako you are pure-blood. You could try to contact him thelapatically" Kinako smiled. "Nice idea could even work, but I've already tried that. Tried something to prevent us from reaching him somehow" Kagome looked sad again. "And who or what might want to prevent that?" Kinako shrugged his shoulders. "I also suspect the person who took us back to our times and who won't leave us behind" A sigh escaped both of them.

Kagome said goodbye to Kinako and got into her car. She drove to her own apartment which was very nice. She had lived there for more than a year and was a little glad that she no longer had to listen to her grandfather's nonsense. At a red light she just looked in the rearview mirror and saw a tall man dressed in black. He was looking at her straight from the sidewalk. To her relief it turned green and she drove quickly to her apartment.

She unlocked the door and locked it again behind her. Your arpatment was very modern and tastefully decorated. Both had well-paid part-time jobs. She went to her phone and listened to her answering machine where there were many messages on it again. About her three friends who didn't go to university but already worked. Then a couple of men from their university. Kagome and Kinako were by far the most popular women at the university. They kept getting inquiries whether they wanted to go out with them or even want to go out with them. But then came a message that really scared her. She didn't know this person and what he said was not only strange but also scary. At first she only heard the loud breathing of a man's voice. Then she spoke. "Do you think you will come to them? You will never come back.I won't let you see him again. You would only encourage him and he is so close to giving up his belief. If you don't stop immediately and the witch then too, others and you will atone for it. Believe me, Kagome I'll make sure you stop "that was the end of the message. Kagome stared at the AB with big eyes. This guy knew her name but how? And how did he know that her friend was a witch? And why did he know that they were trying to reach someone? Kagome was frightened.

Kagome immediately called Kinako and wanted to play what was on the AB tape. But the message was no longer there. So Kagome tried as best he could to quote it. "I find that more than worrying. You shouldn't be there alone anymore. Best come to me tomorrow and we'll talk about everything again. Don't worry, nothing will happen. Be a little more careful anyway," Kagome hung up.She no longer felt safe in her own apartment. She just crawled under the covers and fell asleep with the fear and discomfort. She fell into a restless sleep.

Kagome was walking along a meadow. Then she suddenly saw someone standing in the distance calling her name and waving to her. It was Inuyasha. When she realized that she ran to him quickly. Inuyasha spread his arms and Kagome fell into his arms. She couldn't believe her luck, she had her Inuyasha back. She looked into his face that she was as good-hearted as she had never seen him before. She cried for joy. "I missed you so much, Inuyasha," she said overjoyed. But Inuyasha suddenly gave her an angry look. "Oh well, I don't. And finally give me the splinters!" Kagome thought he had misheard and took a few steps back. Inuyasha walked threateningly towards her again and again. Kagome wept again but not from joy but from disappointment. He refused her. Suddenly the landscape changed into a desolate and bare rock landscape. Inuyasha's face twisted into an angry grimace. "It's time to die," then he jumped up to her. She heard a crash.

She straightened up and noticed that she was lying in her bed. Outside it thundered and flashed as much as it could. She was sweating and breathing heavily. "Just a dream. Nothing else that wasn't real," Kagome tried to calm down. Suddenly she heard a noise. She ran out of her bedroom and noticed that the sound was coming from the front door. Someone unlocked her door. Kagome looked around. An object with which she could defend herself. She found one. In one corner she took a wooden broom and crept to the door. If this guy comes in she'll knock him down. The door opened and Kagome hit the handle of the
