That only makes them all the more curious. But now she was just bursting with anger and went into her room (and slammed her door full of jug).

The next day she opened her window to let air into her room.Three letters floated in there. They all had the same label. Ela put them neatly on her desk. She was about to open the first letter when her mother called for breakfast. Ela decided not to sulk about yesterday because she wanted to really enjoy her birthday today. Her presents were under the breakfast table below. Like under a Christmas tree! Smiling, she started unpacking. Lots of beautiful things! Even one of those old-fashioned quills was there! She had always wanted him!



During the day her friends came to congratulate her. Only her best friend was missing. She probably also spent this Friday afternoon in her boarding school. She was totally in love with this school! And she just didn't want to reveal which one it was!



Her parents kept getting weird, always disappearing outside. Ela suspected that they disposed of their letters.Where did they come from?



In the evening her mother sat down with her with a sigh. She was holding a letter. "I have to give it to you! I thought I could save you from it, but ..."

After Ela had read the letter, she went to bed with the thought: "That was my best birthday present!"

bring a cat OR a toad.

Mimiko is back today, it's summer

vacation . I'd best go to her.

So Ela went to her friend Mimiko. She was about to go in when she saw Ela. Mimiko beamed with joy and

let the suitcase fall into disrepair, and it also opened.

Ela took hold of herself and said: "Hi Mimiko!", And next to her asked, "are you going to Hogwarts too?"

Mimi was happy that Ela (her best friend) would finally come to Hogwarts. Whether she'll come to Slytherin like me, Mimi thought.



Meanwhile at Ela ...

She had just had breakfast and decided to go into the woods again. Then the alarm clock rang and Ela woke up. She was still sleepy because the whole time she was buzzing with these questions in her head. Ela didn't know if she should tell her best friend about it. Better not, she would definitely say; it would be a bad sign whatever she would say such a thing. But things have changed, she was now also a witch who went to a magic school.

Ela sighed and decided not to promise Mimi (ko) anything. So she went into the bathroom and got ready. Her parents gave Ela a lot of money for school supplies. She took it and went to Mimi.
