Fanfic: Ein ganz normaler Tag im GR
Chapter: A completely normal day in the GR
A completely normal day in the GR
- Everything is relative

There were no boundaries that could not be broken. No obstacles that were insurmountable. No goal that could not be achieved. There was always something further away.
And that is what Vegeta was working towards. His obsession with exercise reached unprecedented heights - as did his endurance. He has already spent countless hours in the Gravitron, completely cut off from the environment. For several years he has been training alone again. Trunks had MORE IMPORTANT things to do and had fallen behind unacceptably. But basically that was just right for Vegeta. When he finally had his peace of mind, he could fully concentrate on his task.
Bulma was less happy about the whole thing. She kept complaining that he spent so little "quality time" with her, and she hardly had time to do it herself. Her inventions, her work in the laboratory were just as important to her as his training to Vegeta. Was it too much to expect that she could at least understand? Apparently yes. Despite the fact that she was a self-proclaimed "genius", all she could do was throw around with technical terms, which would all happen if Vegeta was in the GR for too long.
Vegeta's stomach made itself loud and clearly indicated that it was time for the second breakfast. The clock said it was half an hour before the usual time. The Saiyan shrugged it off and decided that he would go out for lunch and then eat even more. It wasn't as if he had to starve to death right away. In addition, his training that day was even more important than food, as he wanted to finally get to the third SSJ level. He would finally catch up with Kakarott and defeat him once and for all.
That thought kept Vegeta alive. Minute after minute, hour after hour.
The time passed much faster than usual, the hunger did not show up again, the clock no longer played a major role.
And at some point he succeeded. The capsule began to shake, the air crackled with anticipation and then ... Then Vegeta's hair began to grow, covering his back in its golden glory. His muscles grew exponentially with his power and eventually the transformation was complete.
The three-time Super Saiyan Vegeta.
Electricity twitched around the perfect figure of the prince, as well as from the electronic devices destroyed by the energy wave created during the transformation. Glittering shards that had once formed the surveillance monitor reflected the bright lightning.
With clenched fists and an evil grin, Vegeta was ready, Kakarott once and for all ... No, he wasn't ready yet. Now he was just as strong as his competitor. He had to get stronger and then ...
So he continued to train, ignoring the numerous short circuits that couldn’t harm him anyway. The thought of Goku's defeat and victory was a never-ending source of energy.
At some point he also reached the fourth level. More muscles, more strength, more energy. Nothing stood in the way now - except maybe the GR door. Then the last obstacle was removed and Vegeta stepped into the ... fresh ... air.
"What happened here?" The Saiyan wondered aloud. "Where am I?"
Before him lay endless expanse, a desert seemingly stretched out into infinity. The sky was yellow and a gigantic red ball sank over the horizon. It was hot and oppressively humid. A noise that sounded like a crashing of waves made Vegeta turn around. And indeed there was a sea, no an ocean, in front of the Saiyan.
"What happened here?"
Suddenly the ocean parted (and Moses ... no ...) and Vegeta shrank back in shock when an oversized crab claw shot out, closely followed by the rest of the arthropod's body.Vegeta swallowed dryly. He was used to his opponents being bigger than him, but that was a joke. Fortunately, a second giant crab appeared and involved the first in some kind of turf war.
Before Vegeta could do anything he first had to know where he was, and that was ... unrecognizable. He powered back to normal and moved away from the fighting animals in order to be able to think in peace. What was going on here? Was it a dream No, too real a setting. The setting! That was it. He'd heard it before. The beach, the sea, the giant crabs ... just where? And then he knew again. Bulma. She had told him once, she had read it in this book ... Who's time machine. Somewhere in the back of the Saiyan's mind all "unimportant" information was stored and that's where he found it. Everything she wanted to tell him about using the GR. All the warnings that he had simply ignored. Was she right? Well, since she wasn't here for him to ask, I guess it had to be. Damn it. Even about the distance he was in the future, she had to be proved right.
And what should he do now? There was only one answer for Vegeta, of course, but when he turned around to get to the GR, he found that there wasn't much left of it, as he was obviously drawn into the action.
Alone in the future, without a task, without anything ...
It shouldn't be long before Vegeta wished he, too, had been destroyed with the GR.

A / N: Only yesterday I read that increased gravity can also trigger a time dilation. Of course, this FF has been exaggerated, but considering how long Vegeta has been training in increased gravity and how long some think a Saiyan will live, he would have to approach Bulma's lifespan.
It also refutes the fact that time passes more slowly in the space of mind and time. So if Goku and Co needed more time to train, they would have had to lure the entire universe into space and then train on earth. But that would have been difficult.
