. . . Inuyasha ° she thought desperately and felt more and more tired. She closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.(no, it's not Sleeping Beauty)

Kagome woke up for no reason. She looked around the room while still half asleep and then looked at the clock. ° 5. 8 p.m. . . She grumbled in thought. She dropped them back on the pillow and looked at the ceiling. Somehow that didn't give her any rest either. She decided to get up and went to the window and looked outside. She opened it and a mild wind came towards her. She leaned on the windowsill and dreamed to herself. ° Inuyasha ° she wondered how she could do it without Inuyasha. If she went back to university she would have even more trouble following the lessons. She sighed, why did it all come out that way? She felt a burning sensation in her throat that showed her that tears would soon come again. "Kagome?" she looked up. No, it wasn't Inuyasha who called for her. She must have only imagined it. Dejected, she went back to bed to get some sleep.She made up her mind to dream of Inuyasha, then she would fall asleep.

Kagome felt the warm rays of the sun on her face and opened her eyes. "Tomorrow already?" she asked unnecessarily. She had dreamed of Inuyasha, and it was a beautiful dream. She lay down again to think about something. It will take a while before she would go back to university, otherwise she would not be able to think clearly. ° I will mourn this for a long time and will not go to university for now. Hopefully I'll make it and get over it a little ° she decided in her mind. Now she got up and went downstairs. Where she found Kinako, Sango, Miroku, Renkotsu, Sesshomaru and Suikotsu who were already awake. "Good morning" she tried to say in a good mood, but she failed. "Morning Kagome-chan" replied her Sango, also a little sadly. The others also wished her a good morning. Kinako gave her a cup of tea like the others."The rest of them are still sleeping?" Kagome asked to break the silence that had long existed. It was only because someone didn't come and probably couldn't anymore. "Yes, the others are still sleeping. It's still very early," replied Miroku. "Kinako-chan? I don't know about you, but I don't feel like going to university. At least not in the near future," she announced. Kinako agreed with her. "Yeah, me neither," she said too. Now there was silence again. "I'll go home later, is that okay?" asked Kagome. She was given an understanding nod. She urgently needed some rest to deal with the whole thing. "And what about our friends from the Middle Ages? I mean, they can't stay with them forever," Kagome asked. "I've already thought about it. I would say I'll explain the most important things to you first when I go through town with you. Then we'll see," said Kinako. Kagome thought of Inuyasha again.He would have come with her in her time just to be with her.



Little by little the others also woke up and were informed about everything necessary. And with a little bit of magic, she'd somehow work it out.

"I'm going home now," said Kagome and headed for the door. "Shall I take you there?" Kinako asked, worried about her friend. "Yes," answered Kagome shortly and succinctly. Kinako drove her home in her car. "Bye bye," she said goodbye and went into the apartment. She took the elevator to her floor and then went to the door. When she was back in her apartment she noticed that everything was as it was before. ° A bath wouldn't be bad now, she thought. She always took a bath when she was stressed. She went into her bathroom and ran into the warm water. When she got in, she couldn't help it. "Is that nice," she whispered. ° But it would be much nicer with Inuyasha ° she thought. However, she had to chop off that thought quickly.She put on comfortable clothes and decided to lie down a little longer. Then she remembered that her family had called the police because they had been missing for almost 3 weeks. So she picked up the phone and punched in the number. "Hello here, Higurashi" she heard from the receiver. It was her brother Sota. "Hello Sota, it's Kagome," she tried to sound happy. "You're back ?! Where have you been? We were terribly worried," he asked excitedly, almost hysterically. "I was in the Middle Ages," she said shortly because she was too tired to lie. "Did you meet Inu-ni-chan again?" he asked further. Kagome thought of what had happened again. "Yes, I just wanted to get back to you. Bye," she hung up. Her tears came again. After crying, she felt a little better. She looked at the clock again and read that it was now 4:45 pm. (How fast the time flies) Somehow she had nothing to do so she sat on the couch and turned on the TV.Then she finally found a nice love story and had to think about how nice it was when she was with Inuyasha. When the film was over, her stomach called. It was already evening. So Kagome mashed into the kitchen and made something to eat. When she was finished, she felt tired again. So she put on her sleeping clothes and went into her bedroom. She quickly found her sleep.

She woke up in the middle of the night. She immediately realized why. Suddenly she felt so bad and it got worse and worse. When she realized that she was about to throw up, she rushed into the bathroom and leaned over the sink. She vomited and felt it burn her throat. When she realized that it was over, she washed her face because she was warm and stumbled back to her bed. ° Why did I suddenly feel so sick? ° she asked herself. Actually, she was still sick. But she didn't have to vomit anymore. Then something came back to her.° I'm overdue (the girls know what I'm talking about). . . if I. . .? ° Now she noticed this tiredness again. So she decided to check it out tomorrow. She had time anyway because she had decided to take a break from studying. She wouldn't go to university for a while.



She woke up again but she was still sleepy. She looked at her watch. "Huh? Already 12:45 pm" she wondered to herself. She had gone to bed early and only now woke up. She was hungry again. ° That is no longer normal ° She didn’t want to bother herself now, however, so she got ready and went to get something. She could get something to eat on the way. She locked the door behind her and went downstairs. She drove her car to the mall. First she ran to the bakery and got a warm pretzel. (They taste really good) Then she went to the drugstore and ate her pretzel on the side.She was done with it when she arrived. Now she went in and looked for what she needed. ° There must be one around here somewhere, she said to herself. She finally found what she was looking for. She got one and went to the checkout. (Can you guess?) Now she could actually go home again and you didn't feel like staying here any longer. So she drove back home and first went to her bathroom. There she first unpacked what she had bought in the drugstore, namely a pregnancy test. She did everything as it was in the instruction manual and left the bathroom again. It took at least 1 minute to see the result. She went back into the kitchen and made herself some tea. Then she put it on the table in the living room and went back into the bathroom to check the results. She picked up the test and looked at it. He was positive, so she was pregnant. "I'm pregnant?" Kagome couldn't quite grasp it yet.° From Inuyasha ° she thought and put her hand on her stomach. "The only thing I have left of him," she said with a voice that suffocated with tears. She suddenly felt so dizzy again. She decided to lie down again. At least she had a child from Inuyasha and she wasn't going to give that away.



That was 2 weeks ago. Kagome and Kinako went back to university even if it was difficult for them. They had tried to get through the well in the meantime, but it was still locked. So everyone continued to live at Kinako and Kita. Kintaro, Ami, Juri and Minako went back to their homes. As for Inuyasha, everyone was still mourning, especially Kagome. She had already said that she was pregnant.

Kinako and Kagome were just coming out of the main university building. "I can't do it anymore," sighed Kagome. Today she felt sick again and almost fell asleep in class. "You should take a break.Kinako ordered her. She nodded and said goodbye to Kinako and drove home with her car. She withdrew more and more and rarely went out of her apartment. When she was home she made herself immediately to work to get her reverat done. She was done and that after 4 exhausting hours. It was now 8:50 PM. "Let's see what's on TV" she mumbled. She watched something and just watched the film half-heartedly to. Now she heard the phone ring. She picked up the receiver. "Hello," she said a little stressed. Silence. "Hello?" she asked again anxiously. "It's Kinako," she giggled. "Very funny, what's the matter ? "said Kagome bitingly." I was able to find out that a demon is approaching again. He's looking for you, "said Kinako. She sounded kind of weird, as if she wasn't taking it seriously." He definitely wants the Shikon no Tama, doesn't he? "Asked Kagome." Maybe, "she said curtly.Kagome heard strange noises in the background. "Well, you can already expect him at night," said Kinako. "You sound so strange. You don't want to put me on the cross," Kagome asked suspiciously. "No, not me. Just want to let you know. Bye," she said and hung up. "What was that supposed to mean?" she muttered angrily.
