It was an unusually cold night, even for December, when the wind whipped icy whips against the igloo-shaped house. Thousands of stars flashed from the cloudless sky, shining like a cluster of diamonds. The moon, which was once again losing weight, lit up the perfectly manicured lawn in front of the C.C. with pale light and let the shadows dance.
Behind one of the numerous windows was the room of Bulma Briefs, the new CEO of Capsule Corp.Since taking over the helm, the Briefs' fortune had grown even further. She knew how to use her mind with all means that were available to her and thus always achieve what she had set out to do. And that was a lot ...
Completely drawn, heavy velvet curtains concealed the fact that no one was in the room at the moment. The queen-sized bed was completely deserted, the sheets perfectly taut and seemingly completely unused. A thin layer of dust on most of the furniture suggested that there wasn't much going on in the room, or at least that it was barely cleaned.
The rest of the C.C. was deserted, inside it was deathly quiet while outside the storm raged.
Far below the earth, safely separated from the environment, in the old nuclear bunker of the C.C. was the blue-haired scientist. With a pale face and bloodshot eyes, she sat in her second workplace and did her chores.Compatibility comparisons, DNA analyzes and probability calculations were otherwise so easy for her, but in her weakened state she needed more time than usual. Groaning, she rubbed her aching eyes and tried to concentrate on the screen again, which increasingly blurred out of sight.
"Coffee?" Asked a monotonous voice.
Bulma tilted her head to one side and a small smile appeared on her dry lips when she saw A7 holding a steaming hot mug towards her. After a sufficient intake of caffeine, her vision cleared somewhat so that she could continue with her work.

Not far away in an uninhabited area that belonged to the western capital, something hit the earth that observers would have taken for a meteorite. Thunder and lightning kept the arrival of the two spherical space capsules secret when they crashed into the earth and formed craters several meters deep. The doors hissed open and formed a small exit ramp.
"Come on, scan the planet for Kakarott," said the smaller man's dark voice. The authority he exuded was reflected in his superior fighting ability. "I want to get off this dirt ball as soon as possible ..."
Nappa, the bald companion, immediately did as he was told and activated his scouter to search for the last pure-blood Saiyan. "I can't locate him, Vegeta," he said hesitantly when he still hadn't gotten a result after two minutes. "The strange thing is, I can't find a single higher energy source on the entire planet ..."
"Impossible! Raditz's notes show that there are at least two other extremely strong fighters on this planet. Kakarott's son and then his alien teacher." As if to convince himself of the truth of his words, Vegeta switched on his own scouter on and scanned for high energy patterns. But he too came to the same conclusion.
"Maybe you can somehow suppress your aura ..." suggested Nappa hesitantly, while the two Saiyajin floated out of the craters on level ground.
Vegeta just stooped, unsure of himself. He couldn't stand surprises at all
"What should we do now, Vegeta?"
"First stop your stupid whining! How about if you tried your own pea brain, Baka?", Growled the prince and threw a sharp look in the direction of his subordinate. "But don't worry, I already have a plan. We'll just blow up the next town, that will probably drive the rats out of their holes, regardless of whether they can suppress their auras or not. All these good fighters are the same , so predictable. "
"In this direction a large accumulation of energies can be ascertained, all tiny, it is definitely a bigger capital ..." Nappa's eyes flashed expectantly and the blood in his veins flowed faster thanks to the prospect of a small massacre.
"No," Vegeta didn't surprise him for the first time, and certainly not for the last time. "We're looking for a smaller town."
"What?" Stuttered Nappa, taken by surprise. "But ... why?"
"Since when do I have to justify myself to you?", The prince growled dangerously low and narrowed his eyes to very thin slits through which he stared at the bald man. "Or do you have something against my decision? Just out with the language ..."
"Uh ...", Nappa swallowed nervously. “No, not really ... So a smaller town.” With his scouter he looked for a much smaller crowd, which he located a few kilometers further south.

"Alert Alpha I! Attack on Ingwerstadt by unidentified opponents! I repeat: Alert Alpha I!" Roared through the underground passages of the nuclear bunker.
Suddenly Bulma's tiredness was blown away and her eyes flashed strangely. This alarm had sounded several times in the past few years and each time there was a new catch for her. Her fingers skilfully slid over the consoles and gave the order to send out Sonderkommando A1 to A5 to deal with the problem. Thanks to the prediction of a certain black-haired man, she already had a clue who it was. If everything went well, she would have two more copies in a few hours.
Bulma hit the enter button and switched on the five monitors that would follow the action.

Vegeta sat apparently bored on a bent tree and watched Nappa's work. The giant had no control over himself, that would get in his way one day. But that shouldn't be his concern. The screaming of the victims left him cold, it seemed as if he couldn't hear it at all.
* Ten minutes already, * he thought grimly. * How long do they need to show up here?*
Again and again he checked his scouter, but the result was always the same: no approaching energies.
"Hey, Vegeta!", Nappa called over to the bored prince. "Come on! That makes SpAAAAAHHH!" His sentence was cut off in the middle of the word when suddenly a foot out of nowhere met his cheek. The huge warrior stumbled back a few steps before he could catch himself again.
Vegeta immediately jumped to his feet and checked the scouter again, which still showed nothing, then he threw away the already useless instrument. The technology was just a dog.
He was in position immediately when five figures landed around him and Nappa in quick succession. They didn't really look like humans, besides, they apparently could fly, and the one who kicked Nappa must have had some strength. But wasn't it usually the case that when you launched an attack, your aura was automatically revealed?
"You're responsible for this?" Asked a voice that couldn't really be classified.
Vegeta remained completely calm, his mask on, but Nappa grinned broadly. “And what if it were?”
"Then you have to come with me," answered one of the other characters with exactly the same pitch. "Of course you have the opportunity to surrender without resistance, otherwise we will be forced to ..." Before he could finish, Nappa flew towards him and fired a bombardment of punches, kicks and smaller energy attacks. A cloud of smoke enveloped the seven people and when it cleared again, the attacked man was as unharmed as before.
"How ...?", Nappa stuttered, eyes wide in horror, when he realized that his attack had had no effect.
"Otherwise we will be forced to use violence ourselves", he finished his sentence. With an eye movement, the apparent leader instructed his team to throw themselves at the opponents and defeat them.
Vegeta snorted when two of these apparently artificially created creatures pounced on him and engaged in a first-class battle. He wasn't used to opponents on foreign planets even approaching his level, but he was clearly inferior to these two emotionless and tactically impeccable fighting men. Of course he wouldn't even admit it under torture, but it was clear to himself that he had to find a way out of this situation as quickly as possible. A targeted blow to the head clouded his senses briefly and after he had collected himself again, he felt a warm trail run down the side of his temple. Blood. Vegeta risked a quick glance at Nappa, who was doing even worse than he was. Strange. Why did the fifth just stand and watch? Was he so sure they would win? Arrogance was only a real prince and from the anger that formed in the depths of his chest, he regained strength to assert himself against the two attackers. But no matter how fast or how strong his attacks were, they never seemed to cause the slightest damage. That was impossible!
"No ...", Vegeta whispered inaudibly as he looked over at the fifth man again. “Kuso!” He had noticed too late what was really going on when suddenly, as if to confirm, the four attackers withdrew from the two Saiyajin.
Nappa didn't seem to understand, but the prince hadn't expected otherwise. Now they were done for.

Bulma followed the events through the monitors from the various perspectives of her androids, while she kept checking the progress in A1's calculations.
"Indeed ... Saiyan,"
