Chapter: The Clash of the Elements 11

Hi all!

Many thanks to Amiel and kruzifix for your commies! Don't worry, we will definitely continue to write, it can only happen that it takes a while until the next parts!

Ok, go on

(June)

The fear hung over us like a threatening shadow. I could literally smell them. It crept slowly from toes to under the scalp, pervading the body with a suppressed tremor. The furry feeling of my parched mouth made me swallow, but the bitter aftertaste still lingered on my tongue.

I glanced over at Yin out of the corner of my eye ...

The green pupils of my friend had lost all gloss and the happy glow, this zest for life, had completely disappeared from them. Yes, I was scared too, but I couldn't and wouldn't just give up.

But I also knew that what Yin was going through wasn't just fear!

Clenched your mouth tightly. Fists clenched so hard that a few small drops of blood oozed out.

No, I knew my best friend wasn't just scared. It was this terrible panic that took hold of her that she had never won against! But this time she couldn't give up. Yin had to be strong! Persevere in order to be able to use their magic.

I gently put my hand on Yin's shoulder. "Together we can do it! If we stick together, nobody can defeat us!" I spoke meaningfully and smiled encouragingly at my best friend.

The look that met me now was skeptical. Still, a small grin appeared on Yin's lips. She had not given up all hope yet!

"Maybe you are right!" she said softly, but I saw that she had to swallow anyway.

"Of course I'm right! If we both stick together, we might have a small chance. It's not great, but it is a ray of hope!" I replied slowly. There was a loud laugh that went through my marrow and legs when I finished my speech. "You probably don't believe that yourself! Your situation is absolutely hopeless. I actually felt something that you no longer noticed in your fear."

I looked into Aguar's deep black eyes, confused. There was a nasty sparkle in them and gave me an uncomfortable tingling sensation under the scalp.

"What do you mean by that?!" Yin blurted out angrily. A small bead of sweat formed on her forehead, because she knew as well as I what we had been missing all along. Or rather: hadn't felt it!

An almost silent hissing made our counterpart's answer superfluous. Suddenly three large figures appeared before my eyes that looked very similar to Aguar. With the difference that each of the three newcomers had a different colored cape.

Red as fire ...

Brown like earth ...

White as air ...
With a big grin, Aguar stood next to his brothers. The elementalist's cloak fluttered slightly in the wind as he walked through the soft sand.

Blue like water ...

Eyes wide with terror, Yin and I watched the arrival of the elementalists. My throat constricted by itself. No sound came from my lips, although I would now have liked to encourage my friend, even if I saw no more hope for us myself.

The elements were united! Their destructive power would drag us all to ruin. Me, Yin, Piccolo, Dende ... everyone, and with them the whole planet earth!

"You don't scare me!" I suddenly heard my best friend scream.

I turned my head to her in amazement and stared at her with incredulous eyes. I couldn't believe what she'd just said. But the most amazing thing was the way she said it.

Her voice was firm, without the slightest wavering or trembling. In fact, she was no longer afraid, and when she did, she kept it hidden!

"You think we would give in now just because there are four of you. But then you cut yourselves. I'll light a fire under your bums!" Yin shouted in the face of the serious element mages, emphasizing the "I" very much.

I stood there completely perplexed and didn't know what made my girlfriend so confident. Due to this sudden turn, our situation was simply hopeless. We had nothing to oppose against the concentrated power of the four united elements. Well, the elements weren't really united yet, but it wouldn't be long before the elementalists revealed their true power to us.

"Believe it or not, we also have a trump card up our sleeve!" Yin laughed, her eyes flashing provocatively. What did yin mean by that? What other trump did we have? Our

Magic couldn't help us here anymore!

With a big smile, Yin glanced over her shoulder briefly. The eyes of the magicians followed their example and stared astonished, questioning, but also angry behind us, at the horizon.

Only now did I understand what Yin meant when she mentioned the trump card up her sleeve.

I turned slowly around and stared at four points in the sky that were growing rapidly. I looked thoughtfully at the spectacle, saw the golden auras and felt some energies that seemed very familiar to me.

And then they reached us. With determined looks they landed on the white sandy beach. The fire burned in her eyes, and sometimes even an irrepressible anticipation for the fight. They were ready for anything ... even if it meant death!

But a nagging question arose in me: Would her strength be enough?

(Yin)

Almost in panic I saw how the other three magicians landed next to Aguar and looked down at us with mocking faces. We should have noticed them! Or were we too busy with ourselves - no, with me? Shit, it was my fault, I distracted June and let myself go like this!

But what use would it have been if we had discovered them? Nothing likely ...

My eyes widened in terror wandered from one to the next, each and every one of the newcomers looked like a perfect image of Aguar, only the colors of their cloaks differed.

I swallowed. My heart was pounding in my chest and I focused on her energies with bated breath -

Startled, I widened my eyes and felt dizzy when I felt the extent of their magical energies! I almost screamed, but at the last moment I pulled myself together. Again something flashed through me ... there were other energies, not magical, but they were still incredibly strong - but ... that could only be them!

"You don't scare me!"I shouted at the magicians and pushed my fear back as best I could. I was surprised myself how well it worked. Maybe because I was relieved not to have to fight myself first, but maybe also because I did People who would be arriving soon, just had to trust ... wanted to trust!

Aguar's amazed face and the questioning expression that had briefly appeared on the faces of the other magicians was reward enough for me and I continued. This time it was a lot easier for me than before, because now my security was not completely acted out.

"You think we would give in now just because there are four of you. But then you cut yourselves. I'll light a fire under your bums!"

I felt June's gaze on me and I would have loved to tell her, beaming with joy, who was on the way here, but she would surely notice that right away.

"Believe it or not, we also have a trump card up our sleeve!", I laughed and glanced over my shoulder. They were there soon! June also looked around and her previously uncomprehending look brightened up.

Four auras lit up on the horizon, which was now almost completely dark! They were the light in the darkness, almost symbolic of the last spark of hope that was now budding in me again. A grin spread across my face as they got closer and closer!

After a short time they landed on the white sand a few meters away from us! Their appearance was impressive, they didn’t change their expressions when they looked the four element mages straight in the face. The four fighters showed neither fear nor uncertainty, I could only see a faint feeling of anticipation on Vegeta's otherwise indifferent face when he gave them a disapproving look.

"What kind of bang-bang are those?" He asked, amused, and smiled wryly. Otherwise I'd like to kick his butt for every spell he'd let loose on me, but this time I wasn't the target.Rather, these words had a strange effect on me, yes, they were almost calming and made me feel superior. Vegeta crossed her arms over her chest again and looked at the others with a bored look.

Son Goku looked serious - but somehow it didn't suit him. I had only met this man as an overly naive and optimistic person ... no - Sayaya ... Sayajin, but now he looked like a different man.

His son stood next to him, looking undecided. His eyes kept moving from one magician to the next and back again, but he didn't seem to be afraid either. He was just careful.

The last person was Piccolo. The great Namek fixed Aguar with ice-cold eyes, as if he wanted to make him disappear just by looking at him. His face was rock hard and I couldn't read in any way what he was thinking or even feeling, it was impossible for me to say whether he was confident or not.I found the latter more logical.

Then I turned my head to June. At the same moment she looked at me and her eyes shone. But I could also see doubt in them. And I had the same. These people were powerful, but I didn't know if it would be enough ...

Aguar's cold and emotionless voice tore me from my thoughts. He laughed softly, then louder and louder and finally his brothers joined in this horrific laughter. I fought the urge to cover my ears and June seemed a lot more nervous again.

"Wonderful, then the party can start!", Aguar laughed angrily and grinned at us.

And for the first time since their arrival, another magician spoke up:

It was Viende, magician of the air.

"You really want to stand against
