Special
Jen & Co in the past (part 1)
(Information just by the way ....
So, here is the promised special (but only part 1, because otherwise it will be much too long to read straight away ...) from "Tejina- A book like no other .." ..
I will tell in first-person form here. In addition, I will rebuild the story as if Theresachan (Dreamdanzer) were my sister, since she will be part of the story ... rejoice:)
Sunday / 10:30 pm / tomorrow it's time for school
Me and my sister Theresa are already in bed and getting ready to turn off the lights. Our parents are not here today. You went out for a birthday that children are not allowed to go to. Theresa is 2 years older than me and, so to speak, 'takes care' of me. But in general we get along pretty well. Except for a few small differences of opinion that occur in every two-child household.
"What do you think if we don't go to sleep yet?" She asked me, tossing her hair back. We're both pretty night owls. "Great idea!" I answer her and get out of bed. We actually have separate rooms. But since we felt so abandoned alone in one room, we rearranged a bit and pushed my mattress into her, much larger room.
"Mom and Dad won't be back before 1 or 2 o'clock, that means we have enough time to watch TV or anything else!" Said Theresa happily as we sat in the living room and made ourselves comfortable on the large corner seat. I grin at her and turn the remote control. Then I turn on the television. It looks like there is nothing left in the program that is somehow even a little interesting. I decide to get my writing board. I always write a story here. "Tejina- a book like no other .." is her name. (NoteIn between: ° Chrm Chrm ° you all know anyway that this is my story ... ^ __ ^)
"Will you help me think of some nasty ideas against Jen?" I ask Theresa, with a mean grimace on my face. It's just too fun to tease your main characters a little! That's why Theresa answers with a convinced "Yes, of course!" And moves a little closer to be able to look at my writing board. We both hear a huge bang in my room. We look at each other. "Could it be that something fell down?", Theresa asks me, and looks at me questioningly. I shake my head. "Oh, let's not act so dramatically, it will CERTAINLY have dropped something!", She says in a loud, but at the same time also insecure voice. Then it crashes again. Shortly afterwards there are two more huge hits. Theresa are already standing and hesitating. Should we run into the room and see what is there, or should we stop here and be surprised? With a quick look, we decide on the second option. And again it rumbles out of my room. Suddenly we see an arm stretched out of my room. We both freeze instantly and hold our breath. Who is this? But not a burglar? But why should it be so loud when it is light in the apartment? Then a voice can be heard. "AAAARGH! Take care!" It seems to come from a boy. Not older than 16 or 17. "It's not my fault if I landed on you, for God's sake!" Shouts another. This time it came from someone else. But it's also a boy's voice. Theresa looks over at me. With her lips she formed: "What should we do now?". I shrug my shoulders. We are still rooted to the spot. Then the arm disappears back into my room. Again we hear someone speak. However, it was the voice of a girl, about Theresa's age. "Where did we end up here?", she asks. Suddenly someone comes out of my room. Theresa and I crouch behind a sofa and crouch together. We hear someone entering the living room. I venture a look over the sofa." My goodness, that does not exist! "I whisper, and quickly duck under the edge of the sofa again to avoid being seen." What? "Theresa whispers to me as softly as she could." A- Oh nothing. "I answer her casually. I just wanted her to stop asking and be seen through it.
The girl looks around the living room. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and is damn short. "Wooooow!", She shouts, and holds her hand over her eyes as if she is blinded by the sun, which is not there at all at this time of day. "Is that a priest's apartment or something?" She says aloud. Now Theresa also dares to look over the edge of the sofa. She falters. She noticed the same thing, which I also noticed.
She followed my story from the start. And this girl here looks exactly as we "Pin" imagined it to be. She looks at me Again someone enters the living room and we duck under the edge of the sofa. As if on orders, we peek out curiously at the same time. Unbelievable. A real "Jen" stands a few meters in front of us.
"Pin, don't be silly, it doesn't look like it at all!" Jen says, looking around. "We must have flown through time! Everything here is so ..., old-fashioned!" As he says this, he looks exactly in our direction. In a flash I hide behind the sofa again. Unfortunately too slow. He saw me. What now? Should I talk to a fictional character? No, of course not, it's all just a dream. But it's not a dream. They are real, believe it or not!
Jen comes up to us. "Hey! Get out of there! I'll see you!" He says, and takes one more step. "What's going on Jen?" Says another voice. We had heard this before.I don't even need to look to know who is stepping out now. Morwan. "Oh, nothing special. Only those who hide from us!" He replies, unimpressed. "IIIEKS, not that stupid Dundon again?" Pin screeches softly. "No, this time it's probably people!" Jen replies calmly. I'm looking forward to Theresa. Obviously she doesn't know what to do either. Apparently we both had the same desire to talk to a fantasy character. Although, they do not look "fake", or perhaps simply taken from a story. They are real people. More or less anyway. Jen turns back to us. "Oh, come on out, if you are human, you have nothing to fear anyway!" He says, and comes one step closer. One more step closer and he would see us! But he stops. "Well, yes, I don't want to force you to do anything!", He says, and makes a movement upwards with his fingers. With our head bowed, Theresa and I crouch closer to the sofa. But there was nothing left to crouch. When I tried to lean against it, I fell straight through and lay on the floor with my arms and legs outstretched. Theresa had backed away, and was half sitting, half lying firmly against the wall. I carefully open one eye and look directly into Jens bright green eyes. "Well, go!" He says, and grins at me. I roll on my side and crawl over to Theresa, who is staring at Jen as if spellbound. "You're not scared, are you? Ha, don't believe they have A-N-G-S-T!" He says, and turns around. "I don't look that scary, do I?"
To my surprise, Theresa stands up. She struggles a lot with herself. She cannot blame it. How should you talk to someone whose story you already know basically? So as not to leave you standing there alone, I also stand up. "H- H- Hi!", We both stutter, and can't believe what, or who is just marching in. A skeleton! My goodness, a walking skeleton! No, that doesn't work! Walking skeletons, just like ghosts, simply don't exist! But ... they do exist. Now * Es * (Ruphus) even looks at us. I take another look at Theresa. She looks just as confused and scared as I do.
"What? Have you never seen a walking skeleton?" Asks Jen, puzzled. It becomes too much for me. I take a deep breath. I'll explain to them, tell them to go back.
"Of course we've never seen a walking skeleton!" I snarle at him. Jen looks over at me in amazement. "This is OUR time, OUR world! Go back to the computer where you came from!" I yell on.
"What? What do you mean? Our time, world?" Morwan, who is now standing next to Jen, looks at us. "Quite simple! In 2003 we are almost 2004, and you are in the year 2203 or 2204! Besides, Theresa and I invented you! You cannot even be there!"You just can't! "Now I'm yelling. Everyone looks at me and Theresa. Also Cleo, who came out from behind." How is that .....? "We stare at each other perplexed." You ... invented us? ", stammered Jen, pointing at me and Theresa. I nodded tentatively." Wuahaaa! April April! "Morwan roars and grinned at Jen." It's not April! ", Theresa grumbles, and scowls at him." Oh, yes. ", he replies, and turns away." Yes, exactly! That also explains why everything is here that was there before it all fell back! "Notes Pin, and hops out from behind Jen, who is really much taller than her, and looks at both of us." But somehow I can't believe this is true! Are we supposed to be invented? Fantasy characters? ", she squeezes her eyes. Theresa and I nod again." If you want, I can show you, I mean the stories! “I look around the room questioningly.” No, no! No need! "Jen waved wildly in the air.“I don't even want to know!” I look at Theresa. She shrugs as if to tell me she doesn't care. Then I watch Ruphus look around. "Well, it's not that dirty either!" I tell him angrily. He, or It, flinches. "N- No! I don't dare to let that get into my thoughts at all (think)!" He stutters. “But, I'm not used to putting one foot in front of the other in such ... new structures!” He nervously fumbled with his fingers, which were made of bones. Suddenly he sees the flowers that have been on the windowsill for a long time. "Hach! I love flowers!", He enthuses, and wants to throw himself on the Usambara violet pot. But Theresa stops him. She winces. It must feel weird touching a human bone that is still warm. "How do you know that I shouldn't come into contact with flowers?" Asks Ruphus in astonishment. "How do you even know?", Theresa says against it."Oh!" He stutters, embarrassed, then steps back.
"Gradually, I can believe you!" Says Morwan, with a doubtful look. "Nobody but us knows that Ruphus shouldn't smell flowers! And now two, supposedly, complete strangers!", He says to Jen as an explanation.
Pin yawns. "Would you mind if we
