A new, old city!

Cecil was driving on the autobahn with her father. As expected, the car is fully packed. Behind them a truck that was supposed to drive them to their new home. "How long will it be?" Cecil nagged. Her father could only grin and said: "Not much longer!" "You said that ten minutes ago," she muttered inaudibly.
When they arrived after an eternity, it seemed, the whole house was first carefully examined by Cecil. One thing was clear. The attic was to become her room. Her father worked as a prosecutor, her mother was a psychologist. Her parents were divorced and her father had the right to bring up the children. But since her father was often out and about, Cecil was often alone. That's why Cecil moved with her father to the city where her mother also lived. So that while her father was absent she could stay there. Here in Albany, New York on the Hudson, Cecil grew up until she was eight and now she has returned at fifteen. Her mother had seen them last Christmas and now they were on summer vacation. Actually, Cecil wanted to relax first. Since her mother had definitely invited her to a coffee party, as Cecil always called it, she had no choice but to go there. Her father was on another ultra, hot case, that was more than ridiculous.
Cecil had put on her brand new red sneakers. She also wore a red checkered mini skirt and a wide, black sweater on the shoulder. Her father was in the garage washing his car, a Rolls Royce. His sanctuary! "Dad, I want to see Mom now, can I have the bike?" Asked Cecil, leaning against the garage wall, careful not to touch her father's sanctuary. "Sure, it's next to the house, could you please give this package to your mother? Those are the photos from the summer, we had forgotten!" Cecil just nodded and swung onto her bike and thus to hers as quickly as possible Mother.Cecil hoped that the movers would be out of the house by then.
Her mother's house was quite small compared to hers, but fine. There, old aunts would probably jump towards her and shout: "But you've grown up!" and then pulling on her cheeks until they were finally worn out. Cecil parked her bike by the garden fence and locked it. "Hey!" She heard a voice call out. Startled, she turned around. It was a boy, about her age, with black, long, straight hair. So the exact opposite of her. Cecil had red, long and unruly hair. Cecil just raised her left eyebrow and looked at the boy. “The property belongs to Miss Murray!” I know that, thought Cecil. "I'm a Murray too!" Replied Cecil. The boy frowned, then suddenly it brightened. "Cecil ?!" he called and ran towards her. “Yes,” said Cecil carefully, “and who are you?” “I'm Tracy, don't you know me anymore ?!” Tracy laughed."Come on, let's go in!" Who is that, Cecil still wondered. Tracy pulled her with her. The door to the house was open and they went inside. "Miss Murray, I have a surprise for you!", Tracy was already shouting. The door to the living room was thrown open and Cecil shoved inside. Okay, old aunts weren't sitting there. Actually, nobody was sitting there! "Cecil!" Whispered her mother and hugged her. “How are you my little one?” Cecil shrugged. “Normal, but who is Tracy?” Cecil's mother gave a short laugh. "Don't you remember? That was the boy you always wanted to marry!" Cecil looked at her mother in horror. There was a boy there, but he had short hair and was never her age! Then Cecil turned her gaze to Tracy who just grinned broadly. This boy had long hair up to his chest! "Mom did you have to mention that now?" Whispered Cecil. "Stay with Tracy, too! You know, Tracy often helps me with gardening!" Said Miss Murray from the kitchen."Not entirely voluntarily, my age always makes me do it!" Added Tracy. "Do you still want to marry me?" Tracy grinned and sat down on a chair and played with a sandbag. Cecil looked puzzled at first and then hit him over the head. "Of course not!"
After so-called coffee parties, the three talked. "Wouldn't you like to stay here today, Cecil?" Asked Miss Murray. Cecil shook her head. "Unfortunately not possible. I still have to do a few errands with Dad." "I see." "We could meet tomorrow for a little city tour!", Was the further suggestion from Miss Murray. Apparently she really wanted to see her daughter more often. Cecil was about to reply when the phone rang. Miss Murray answered. “Yes, here Caroline Murray!” “Cecil, it's for you!” Cecil ran to the phone. "Yes?" She asked. "Cecil, why are you not home yet? I have to leave today and you know exactly that you have to be home before that!"Cecil said yes and hung up." Dad said I should go home! "Miss Murray just nodded and accompanied them to the door." I'll bring Cecil home, don't worry, Miss Murray! "Smiled Tracy." Thank you, Tracy, that's nice! Perhaps you should think twice about marrying him after all, Cecil! "joked her mother, for which Cecil only threw a haha-like-funny look back." See you tomorrow, mom! ", Cecil called and the door closed.
"So, do you want to marry me?" Joked Tracy. For this comment, however, he received just one more blow on the head. “Hey, I was just thinking!” “Don't think too much!” Tracy mumbled something that nobody understood. "It's pretty dark today!" Remarked Tracy. "Yes, there are new moon nights like that!" "Did you actually miss us?", Tracy asked a little more seriously. "I don't know, I was eight after all. Still, I can tell you that it can't be the same as it used to be.After all, we've grown and have new interests. "" You can get really serious thoughts, compliment! "" We're here, thank you for bringing me here! " "All right. Should I ask the others if they want to come tomorrow too? ", asked Tracy. Cecil said no:" Thank you, but better not. School will start again the day after tomorrow, I don't want to see them all in one fell swoop. I don't know what to say! ", Cecil smiled sheepishly." Okay, so good night! "
The days passed quickly and school was due, as expected, of course, it had to come at some point. Cecil dragged himself downstairs. She had taken a shower, just overslept, she was still. "Morning Cecil, are you all right?" Asked her father once again in a great mood. This workaholic, Cecil always thought to himself. "Yes, except for the fact that I have to go to school today and now I already know that I have the ancient Misses-I'll-show-you-how-to-be-brought-up-earlier-Black!"Cecil mumbled, putting on her shoes." Is she still at school? I already had them too. ", smiled her Sunnyboy father. How could you always be in such a good mood and full of zest for action, that had to rub off somewhere. Cecil hoped that it wouldn't hit her. Cecil absorbed her thoughts and didn't notice that she was already looking at her When she saw the parking rail of the bicycles she had to swallow first. Of the hundred bicycles that were lying here, although you could take the word literally, there were only three, if not two. Before Cecil went further about this Pile of debris could worry, she felt a hand on her shoulder, which she tugged. "Hey, old friend! You haven't gotten any younger either! "She was torn around by, as was to be expected, Ashley. Her hair was made into a tortured bun again. How could you wear something like that without someone's hair falling out.Not that she didn't like Ashley, no, she already liked Ashley. Only that it always has to be so hyperventilating. That always gave Cecil a shiver. Cecil wasn't totally illiterate when it came to humor. She had this quality, just in a different area, more like sarcastic, ironic jokes that only people with a few more brain cells could understand. "Ashley, how are you? Still everything fresh?" Ashley nodded and immediately rummaged around in her bag. "Here!", She gave Cecil a note. Cecil flew over it once and sighed imperceptibly. "So? It's cool!" Sure, being so cool with Ashley in the same math class! Cecil had the bad luck today to only meet people who were full of energy and energy. Cecil actually wanted to pick out such a psycho first. Not necessarily literally, but you could have a normal conversation with guys who were a bit dodgy without the words, old, cool, great or brilliant.Cecil only took this genial as a gähnial anyway. Cecil nodded anyway to please her friend. The courses she had were more than crappy. The school shouldn't have been called West Albany High School. The name, the intellectual high-flyer of high school humor and zest for action, would have been right. Even better, according to Cecil's taste. But she didn't want to scare her first day of school away with complaining, although Cecil only dealt with it most of the time, that was probably because there was a video that had to be made public.
It went back and forth in the canteen. Everyone wanted this unhealthy, greasy edible crap. Cecil contented himself with an apple. With that she sat down at a table at the edge of the canteen, closely followed by Ashley who could no longer look over her tray. So that was called diet here. First stuff it full and then complain why you still weighed so much."Do you see that one over there?" Asked Ashley, pointing to a boy who was dressed all in black and had short black hair. His eyes also seemed to have a black tone. "Ashley!" Whispered Cecil and pulled her friend's arm down. “You don't point your bare finger at other people!” Ashley just made an annoyed grimace, then pulled her sweater over her finger and said: “Look, now he's not naked anymore!” She apparently found that funny too. Cecil really didn't think about going to East Albany High School after all. "Anyway, the boy's name is Sharon!" Cecil stopped: "Isn't that a girl's name?" Ashley nodded immediately and said: "One hundred points girl!" Then she turned her gaze back to the boy who was sitting with his back to the two girls . "He is said to have spent a few days in psychiatry. He was released a month ago. But he is still
